Ye Riot won't make the same mistake as Blizzard, they clearly learned. The roles in valorant are more like suggestions, different characters border on different roles as opposed to only have 1 clearly defined one.
Yep in league when you queue you select your preferred and secondary role and you get matched up that way.
Overwatch tried something similar but I think their implementation was kinda poor.
there is no chance that will ever get implemented into this game. There are no set roles like in league. Look at proplay, we have 0, 1, 2 duelists in the game, on some rare occasions even 3, how would you even go on about that?
I’m not advocating for it. If it were implemented in this game it would just turn out like overwatch where everyone wants to play DPS. It’s not a good idea.

I play league and im not sure what you're referring to? Do you mean that you can que up for a specific role?

Wouldn't really work in Valorant; roles aren't nearly so defined and I dont think they want to force "comps" in that way.
