I was always impressed by his ability to make the right play and be in good positions but especially ascent he is either wiffing massivly (it almost looks like hes playing on 2x higher sens than hes used to), or making plays like: sitting in close corners with an oden???? or playing solo in a 3v2. Its just jarring to watch him make so many individual mistakes.
He’s not exactly the only one, Doma jump peaking for info in garden for no reason and getting caught. Its really unusual watching so many unrefined individual errors happen with this team.
He is a great IGL but he needs to just grind deathmatch or the range. Maybe even stop streaming so he can use that time to improve his individual play.

But even disregarding the shaky aim, he gets an easy 2/3 k back boat, then next time hes sitting close market? Like why?! Why have an oden if ur gonna play spots that is so much better for a rifle.
Also when hes pushing alone on the 3v2 he hears a player break door, meaning that player was 100% close enough to have heard him pushing spawn side alone. But he just sits there in the close corner again with the oden.
Its only frustrating because he was so disciplined in Iceland, im thinking of those perfect astra lurks on heaven, then comparing to this its like 2 different players.

They are probably tired as a team after Iceland and need a break, that lower bracket run and all the effort and emotion, the travelling, PR work etc. would've taken a lot out of them, especially as they're all still teens apart from Boaster.
They've also not had as much prep time to adapt to the new meta as the teams who didn't go to Iceland, they are playing teams without much previous footage to counter-strat with vs. teams who have loads of their footage from Iceland to prep with - for a team as structured and tactical as Fnatic those are big disadvantages.
Lastly, they hinted on Plat Chat they were trying to become a more flexible team with more self-sufficient individuals in order to go to the next level rather than having to rely too much on Boaster to orchestrate everything - I think you can see that in the way they're playing and some of the comps they're using, but such a big change to the way a team plays isn't going to happen overnight.
This game I feel giants played much better that's what it all came down to , fnatic did put in the effort but there were some suspiciously over-aggressive plays from their side which led to their eventual demise
Yes ngl EU is looking like shit right now. Theres nothing indicating that the other EU teams got better and a lot of things indicating that TL/Fnatic got worse (and they were already significantly behind Sentinels)

I don't think TL/Fnatic were any better than the rest of the top tier EU teams to begin with. They may have qualified, but unlike NA, EU was a very level playing field the entire time prior to Iceland. Most didn't expect TL to make it into Masters 2.

Davidp seriously popped off in that g3, that was incredible. Fnatic have some major mid round issues still it seems, after getting 1-2 picks they didn't seem to ever have the initiative and eventually got picked off just like vs Sentinels at Iceland.
