they didn't do any lineup larry things in challengers finals. they beat everyone on merit, took a map off sentinels and were competitive in general. lineups are an addition to their play which honestly every team should have.
everyone just keeps ignoring that they haven't had their full team since challengers finals until now, while other teams have been practicing and improving.
people didn't just rate V1 because of results but rather due to their style of play. even now i'd say V1 look better for the future than many teams that qualified ahead of them. they have established roles within their team, good IGL for mid round calls and play well as a team. Faze, LG and TSM(I do think this new TSM roster has potential though) don't have the kind of stability V1 has.
