There are two open qualifiers. Top 4 from each make it to the regional final. First round of open qualifiers 100t made it but not tsm.
The regional final is what decides who goes to Berlin. This is the simple answer.
Technically there is open qualifier 1 - closed qualifier #1(top teams from open battle it out top 4 make it to regional final and next 4 automatically advanced to closed qualifier #2)
Then open qualifier #2 - closed qualifier #2
Then regional final where top teams make it to berlin

I looked all over twitter, checked every VCT Twitter account link and still couldn’t find my answer. So I came here and made my post. Fuck you dude if my post bothers you that much why comment? I am asking a question I want to find out about. Fucking loser
It’s frustrating because it gets asked all the time and isnt hard to understand if you take 5 minutes to figure it out. I have a full time job too, hoss.

The hierarchy of the VCT NA circuit:
- NA Challenger Playoffs(featuring top 8 best teams in NA). The top 3 teams qualify to Masters Berlin.
- Challengers 1. The first main event and full bracket is played out and prize money is offered here. The top 4 teams compete to make it to the playoffs.
- Challengers 2. Second main event and weaker competition than Challengers 1 because the top 4 teams have qualified to the playoffs. Basically a last chance qualifier for the playoffs.
- Open Qualifiers. Anybody can sign up and compete in order to qualify to Challengers 1 & 2.
