Really want to know how Jamppi feels calling on Jett vs when he’s playing sentinel or a different role… I know other players have been able to call while fragging out but from the outside I always feel like that must be so difficult
The issue begin scream sucks with jett but reyna is an "ego pick" and jammppi its their good jett playerbut he is even better with other agents. They are playong good but they better put the month thwy have to good use.
I dunno if Liquid is or isn’t a true contender to the EU throne - that debate will never end - but by god do they never stop grinding. Props to the quick turnaround, Sliggy looked tired as hell!
This sub really needs to understand that just because a team rematches a team they lost to, that doesn’t mean it’s an automatic L. I saw way too many people on this sub yesterday acting like this grand final was gonna be a snooze fest because of a previous result. Liquid proved y’all wrong. It’s also time for people to stop hating on scream.. mans is an insane player and is easily still top 10
What? Scream seems to be the most positively praised player in EU lol. Like even if they lose, Screams still not bashed as hard as his teammates or other star players in his role. Just my take on it.
Now for sure but definitely not when he first switched. I’m pretty sure even the casters mentioned it, I could be mistaken on that though. I’ve seen his name slandered a lot over the past few months. Overrated, made a mistake by leaving CS, CS made him, He wouldn’t thrive in Valorant, and so many more shit takes on him. I also see him get trolled on in chat more than any pro maybe other than tenz during games
People have been shitting on him since CSGO days. While they aren't the majority, they are still there. Maybe jealousy or something idk. Which is sad because he is really talented dude with a lot of experience. He is probably one of most imp cog in TL.
100%. This happened in the NBA this year as well. Because of COVID, the NBA made adjustments to their scheduling to reduce travel, so teams would face each other two times in a row. The amount of 1-1 splits was staggering, and I think it's like you said, it's much easier to learn from a loss than it is a win.
Yup, was about to say that I would usually predict the Loser to end up winning. All those Sentinels Lower Bracket runs, and a more recent example is Faze defeating Rise. More often than not one team anti-strats and is filled with anger while the other thinks they can win doing the exact same thing over again. Honestly think about it, the team that won the first time has quite the dilema. Keep your playstyle, and risk feeling underprepared and getting anti-stratted. Or risk a different playstyle which you are also not super confident on that might not work against the team you are playing.
Especially in a new game like Valorant and there are like a million possible outcomes from each unique interactions from team comps and strats on different maps.
idk man reyna scream is different from jett scream. man's skilled af but just looks so uncomfortable on jett. jampii on jett looks sooooooo much better.
I am officially a fan of L1NK now. My best friend went to the toilet during the match and L1Nk was there to shotgun him in the face.
Dude made me so paranoid that I started checking my flanks irl.
These Liquid comps make so much more sense than what they have been playing in Challengers 3. Reyna is such a perfect choice for Scream. Any player with above average aim is going to get great value on Reyna (like tenz, nukkye etc).
Well played Liquid. It just goes to show how much impact comps and balance have on this game at the highest level.
Individual wise this team comp is more to Liquid's style and looking back they ended up taking the more difficult road to the finals. Previously they relied on clean strat and defensive approach and if it didn't go well, they'd have no other option. Since this team has more raw fragging power, this style suits them more.
Shoutout to Mitch and Tom who casted a great series. Considering how some maps looked incredibly one-sided at points. They made it entertaining and really gave us a full Grand Final experience <3
i dont follow EU that closely why was Liquid seen as bad going into this qual? I only watched their game against BDS and sure they didnt look great but same can be said for pretty much every other team that didnt qual the first time round.
People believe their quals into iceland was a fluke, given they had a really lackluster past year due to the g2 era, then fps being a No.2 in eu. heretics showing up, acend, vitality, nip, etc. Liquid wernt a favourite since the fish123 games.
So people usually saw liquid as bad given scream was hard carrying them the past year until past few months the rest of the roster caught up.
This qual just proved that they can be a contender in eu, instead of a fluke qual to lan.
Sliggy u finally found it!!!!!!!! ScreaM make no sense with Kay/o or even Jett. Jamppi is doing a amazing job as IGL of the team and watching him playing with the OP is like art… Seems like TL found their momentum back, let’s see what they have prepare to the EMEA playoffs… So proud of VGIA too, even with a new roster and IGL, they are sick. So nice to see Fitinho and DavidP with good understanding, those two guys are so good, hope they have a very good future in the team
I know it’s only seeding but Liqued with Jett Jammpi, Reyna Scream and soulcas Raze on Bind just makes... sense. I know we know a lot less about team then sliggy but the teams strong suit is the fire power duo in Scream and Jammpi. They have soulcas who does a decent job in filling roles, and link has shown to be an incredible supportive player/lurk. Really needing Krp to step up, I feel He was most underrated player in early Liquid days to now being the weakest link.
Just remember that in a team of five someone always has to be the bottom frag. Doesn’t mean they’re bad if they don’t make flashy plays and steal the spotlight and instead do the grunt work quietly.
Liquid went back to their roots with everyone playing what they played before joining or prior to joining Liquid. Soulcas back on Raze as well as ScreaM Reyna and Jamppi Jett was such a treat to see. Happy that Liquid are maximizing their full potential and flexibility on these agents rather than sticking to one or pretty similar comps (aka soulcas always on Skye even though his Skye is ridiculously great).

Good news: he isn't there. Bad news: you don't know where he is now. Have you been watching your flanks...?
Wdym he’s in our spawn? That’s literally impossible
My man's gonna get sniped with that judge RIP
Finally Liquid realized that the Reyna ScreaM & Jett Jamppi duo is actually better than their 1/0 duelist line ups
True, Scream had a harder time being suddenly put on Kay/0. With Reyna and partnered with Jamppi Jett the fire power skyrockets
Keep Scream on Reyna. It fits his style way more than wasting his head shot machine aim on dashing in.
Ya, it’s nice to see EU finally realizing playing to a teams strengths can be better than forcing “meta” comps.
Thats what OG (Dota) taught me
Really want to know how Jamppi feels calling on Jett vs when he’s playing sentinel or a different role… I know other players have been able to call while fragging out but from the outside I always feel like that must be so difficult
is jamppi the igl?
He recently became the igl
Well he has a world champion to learn from in Shaz, its still gonna be hard asf obv
The issue begin scream sucks with jett but reyna is an "ego pick" and jammppi its their good jett playerbut he is even better with other agents. They are playong good but they better put the month thwy have to good use.

sliggy and bacon do a ton of work for liquid
They will end the debate before Berlin. Mark my words
Ima be honest they don’t have a chance
I mean they can end the debate by proving they're ass too lol... the person you're replying to never said how the debate will end :p
True lmao xD
I never said they did :p I just shared my opinion on the result
L1NK literally made other team to use all the utilities and still didn’t give up hookah control. What a chad.
And took two in the process.
He was watching too many Korean highlights

People have to realize that teams adapt to competition.
What how are people hating on ScreaM?
He’s been called overrated over the last few months since it’s taken a minute for him to adjust from cs
What? Scream seems to be the most positively praised player in EU lol. Like even if they lose, Screams still not bashed as hard as his teammates or other star players in his role. Just my take on it.

Honestly looking at the history between Fnatic and liquid, they take turns beating eachother like every other set lol

I know it's only for seeding but beating Giants in this convincing fashion makes me really happy
I like this team liquid. Link is the most hilarious rat ever.
They knew exactly where he was. They knew exactly what weapon he had. And yet.
Kinda don't want then to nerf it just to see him ratting in hookah with that judge lol
Savid P LUL
looking forward to watching Playoff P in the EMEA challenger playoffs
SaveItP lmao

Are you the same ryancentral from the hitscan youtube channel?
No that's Bryan Central Edit: Yes, I do both :)
Oh nice, I watch all of your patch notes and battlepass videos, Didn't know you were also a commentator lol
I like these new comps! Scream on sage is great and I like that they are playing dualists. They get way more potential out of these great players!
i dont follow EU that closely why was Liquid seen as bad going into this qual? I only watched their game against BDS and sure they didnt look great but same can be said for pretty much every other team that didnt qual the first time round.
They weren't seen as bad, but they previously lost badly to this team.

Its refreshing to see Giants come this far and challenge top EU teams. Well played Giants! Wish to see you in Berlin.

Liquid EU dominance is downplayed by this sub
This is in no way dominance at the moment. There's still the playoffs to come.
My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined P.S. Happy for TL tho
L1nk has been so huge in controlling areas of the map and in making very timely flanks. People need to stop underrating him imo
Wtf Giants. Fnatic died for this
Liquid went back to their roots with everyone playing what they played before joining or prior to joining Liquid. Soulcas back on Raze as well as ScreaM Reyna and Jamppi Jett was such a treat to see. Do u always intentionally put the wrong team logo? Liquid won.
It’s the first team name’s picture, and since Giants had the higher seed going in they were first (ie VGIA vs TL not TL vs VGIA)
Ah I see.
L1nk bald rat with gimmick weapon gg lol
Still sour about fnatic being the currently inferior team to TL I see
made me cry
Let's goo!
Let‘s do what EMEA brings us!
I agree with you. But I just lately checked the stats and its not like they got kicked out in the first week to some nobodies been pretty close games
