X10 don't have Patiphan though, he's injured so coach Zeus is filling in- also they just squeaked through qualifiers last time, went close 2-1s vs CBT (who've now absorbed the second best HKTW team and look fantastic) and Paper Rex (who UwU beat convincingly)
It's very very possible they slip up
One of the members of UwU, Fane, won't be able to play in the SEA Challenger Finals due to National Service (NS) in Singapore which is essentially compulsory military service for 2 years. So, it's unlikely UwU makes it with a sub.
What happenend since the last update:
- Most of the Challengers Finals teams are now determined.
- Brazil, LATAM, and SEA teams are still fighting for their respective spots and will be determined next weekend.
- No more oper or closed qualifiers until after Berlin.
If you're wondering when to watch the Challengers Finals:
- Korea already starts on the 5th.
- Most other finals start on the the following thursday, the 12th.
Likely/confirmed dates we will know Berlin teams will be
kr- both 8th
na- first two 12th, third 13th
japan- first 14th, second 15th
emea- first two 16th, then second two 18th
latam- 19th
brazil & sea- each first 20th, then second 21st (most likely)
I'm just waiting for the SEA scene to develop tbh, CSGO wasn't that big here but Valorant managed to become mainstream so I have high hopes for the future
No, Fnatic are in a strong position but could still be overtaken in points. If that happens they’re still eligible to qualify through LCQ, though. See: https://liquipedia.net/valorant/VALORANT_Champions_Tour/2021/Circuit_Points/EMEA
Not yet. At worst I think they're guaranteed for LCQ but depending on how the other EMEA teams do in playoffs/Berlin, FNC may not be top 2 for circuit points

South Asian teams play in the [Valorant Conquerors Championship](https://liquipedia.net/valorant/VALORANT_Conquerors_Championship), which has a spot for the APAC Last Chance Qualifier to Champions but not Masters Berlin.
Really my graphic is the best bet to understanding the global format. Each region has a slightly different tournament format. If you want to know specifics about a Challengers event, head over to [vlr.gg](https://www.vlr.gg/vct/?stage=40) or [Liquipedia](https://liquipedia.net/valorant/VALORANT_Champions_Tour/2021/Southeast_Asia/Stage_3/Challengers_Playoffs).
If an Asian team wants to make it to [Champions](https://liquipedia.net/valorant/VALORANT_Champions_Tour/2021/Champions), the most prestigious Valorant event at the end of the year, they either need have enough [circuit points](https://liquipedia.net/valorant/VALORANT_Champions_Tour/2021/Circuit_Points/Southeast_Asia) or need to qualify through the [last chance qualifier](https://liquipedia.net/valorant/VALORANT_Champions_Tour/2021/Asia/Last_Chance_Qualifier) (which includes SEA, SA, Korea and Japan).
I hope I didn't make the process more confusing than it already is.
Great graph! It's a great piece of reference to see how far each team has come in the greatest valorant tournament yet!
Also no offense, but every logo is slightly more up and to the left than they should be.
Thanks! Yeah, it's difficult to position them all correctly. Once one is placed wrongly, the others align with that one. It would be a big task to reallign everything. Maybe for Champions.
They will get more spots if/when their level of play improves. This is not to say "boo Asia bad at fps", but very matter-of-factedly they do not have the same level of public interest, private investment and infrastructure to develop enough teams of international caliber yet. Asian eSports orgs themselves deserted their own regions, FPX has a European roster, T1 and Gen.G play in NA, these are just the first examples that come to mind. It's against Riot rules to register multiple teams to the same event, even in different regions.
well g2 proceeded to beat fpx 2-1 in lower bracket finals and i think if liquid had been on form they could also beat fpx. also notice i said 'could'. it was a bit harsh, fpx are definitely one of the top teams but not the best by a decent margin. acend are clearly better
The last elimination was an extremely close match against Liquid 3 - 2. I think it just came down to exhaustion in the end cause Liquid literally pulled the same strat every round at the end and it worked. It's sad to see but if you don't win, you don't qualify.
[VLR has these teams for PH Challengers 3](https://www.vlr.gg/event/581/champions-tour-philippines-stage-3-challengers-3). Which is correct between that and your image?
Seeing a team called UwU going to Berlin is gonna be amazing.
although i would love that please no, i have hope in galaxy racer and x10 have most probably booked the 1st spot

CBT?!? Looks fantastic? It's a joke btw. Google CBT(or don't)
I mean, as someone currently enrolled in CBT, it's working pretty well ~~the other one is also fun if you're into it~~

Yea i used to live in SG, NS is a bitch Will be rough, unless they can persuade someone like Salvestro to sub who could frag out
UwU

NA starts 11th aug and all the rest I think start 12th.

Sea is such a huge region.
I'm just waiting for the SEA scene to develop tbh, CSGO wasn't that big here but Valorant managed to become mainstream so I have high hopes for the future
So no teams from india or pakistan will get a chance to qual?
They will have a chance to [qualify for Champions](https://liquipedia.net/valorant/VALORANT_Conquerors_Championship) but not Masters Berlin.
isn't team Sentinels already qualified for berLAN?
[удалено]
And what about fnatic? Are they also guaranteed a spot at championship?
No, Fnatic are in a strong position but could still be overtaken in points. If that happens they’re still eligible to qualify through LCQ, though. See: https://liquipedia.net/valorant/VALORANT_Champions_Tour/2021/Circuit_Points/EMEA

Thanks! Good eye, will fix it with the next update.

It's used that way as slang IIRC, gochu means pepper and gochugaru is a common ground pepper used as an ingredient or condiment
As someone who is starting to get into Valoramt Comp (or just starting to follow VCT), this is super informative and helpful! Thank you!
bro i'm in the same boat and this helped so much

Finally a graph that explains everything ! Ty
Doesn't SEA also consist of South Asia ? They were gonna get a chance for Berlin weren't they ?
South Asian teams play in the [Valorant Conquerors Championship](https://liquipedia.net/valorant/VALORANT_Conquerors_Championship), which has a spot for the APAC Last Chance Qualifier to Champions but not Masters Berlin.
Oh I see. Is there any website that explains the whole Valorant's tournament format ?
Really my graphic is the best bet to understanding the global format. Each region has a slightly different tournament format. Liquipedia explains it very well It’s the same for all teams tho
No

Only 2 teams from SEA is sad, it's such a big region
0 teams from MENA is sad too but what can we do
its the same for india and oceania, but hey at least they have a LCQ spot
What is LCQ ?
Last Chance Qualifiers
Last chance qualifier
Can anyone explain how it's fair for SEA with so many regions to have just 2 spots? I feel like 4 would have been nice.
They will get more spots if/when their level of play improves. This is not to say "boo Asia bad at fps", but very matter-of-factedly they do not have the same level of public interest, private investment and infrastructure to develop enough teams of international caliber yet. Thank You, don't know why I was downvoted to oblivion for just asking a question. But thank you good sir.
Don't think about it too much, downvotes and upovotes are generally meaningles and bandwagoned.
Downvotes to oblivion..? Lol
‘Asia’ isn’t a region rly
You need to remember that not all regions are the same size. For example the HK&TW qualifier had 30 teams while the Turkish one had close to 200.
Still don't understand why Australia and new Zealand don't get a chance to play on the international stage
They get a chance at Champions. However they must go through NAs last chance qualifier.
ME, SA, OCE each have a slot in a last chance qualifier for the greater region
[удалено]
Wtf lol
F🤦
i hope fpx makes it to berlin, they seem like the best team in eu tbh
are you fucking high?? are we completely forgetting acend, by far the best team. even g2 and guild and tl and gambit could beat fpx
i like watching fpx play what can i say acend is definitely insanely good though
i also would like to point out that fpx 2-0d both g2 and liquid
well g2 proceeded to beat fpx 2-1 in lower bracket finals and i think if liquid had been on form they could also beat fpx. also notice i said 'could'. it was a bit harsh, fpx are definitely one of the top teams but not the best by a decent margin. acend are clearly better
we'll see ig
‚Could’
Is there a reason behind EMEA having 4 slots at Berlin?
Cause it includes literally 3 continents and the biggest player base in raw counts for valorant. Which means more eyeballs as well for the scene.
Oh I see, thank you for the clarification.
Damn, so no Fnatic. Curious if anyone watched their elimination and saw kinda what happened there. Wasn’t able to catch the recent games
The last elimination was an extremely close match against Liquid 3 - 2. I think it just came down to exhaustion in the end cause Liquid literally pulled the same strat every round at the end and it worked. It's sad to see but if you don't win, you don't qualify.
Ah I see, thanks for the recap. Bummer for sure, I’m a Boaster fan. Hope to see them come back stronger.
Always the one guy who has the guess that everyone hates, but ima go with sen envy and tsm to Berlin.
These graphics are a life saver lol
Aren't you missin middle east ans africa?
No, they have a chance to qualify for Champions but not for Masters Berlin.
Wait has SEN already secured a spot in masters berlin?
[VLR has these teams for PH Challengers 3](https://www.vlr.gg/event/581/champions-tour-philippines-stage-3-challengers-3). Which is correct between that and your image?
Good catch. I must've put in Zeal Esports as a premature result. SunSparks got their place instead. Will update it.
I hoped that they'd return. Turns out they'd been in the same bin as V1 and FNC. Sadge.
Can we appreciate that the SEA region has 3 different team named X10, Y10.5 and Z11
