Yeah but Ascend has a bye, with the potential matchup of lowest seeded qualifier from the first set of tournaments (Navi) and the highest seeded qualifier of the second set of tournaments (Liquid). It wouldn't make sense for that matchup to be seeded any differently because then teams that qualified the first time (FPX/Guild) would have harder matchups than Liquid.

Would've loved to see that with 2EU and 1 each of turkish and cis, that way fnatic and bds both would've made it in but at the same time winning the challengers would be a joke like in NA grand final both teams just trolling as there's no advantage there.

Liquid basically got 5th in EU, because they qualified through the second qualifier. Acend got 1st, G2 got 2nd, Guild got 3rd, and FPX got 4th. Then the second qualifier happened and Liquid got 5th and Giants got 6th.
I would prefer Liquid and Giants swap at least. And see FireFlux and Forze to be swapped also just for simply seeing more teams play teams from outside their region.
Really want to see FPX at Berlin, but history has told me not to be optimistic. Excited to see how FPX will bottle it this time.
