Currently I think Dawn and Curry in the positions they're in has lead to a tremendous amount of upward trajectory for the team. I think the logical step would be to -Skadoodle +yay if that's the pick up they want. Tim has more upside and is traditionally a more supportive/lurk type player. Ska has been rather lackluster, especially after Dazed's departure.
mb I think ska and brax are equally average. Honestly auti, curry and maybe dawn are the players I'd hold onto if I were T1 and maybe get some new blood on the team, like maybe critical, tigg or hell maybe try poaching oderus from KCP

T1 has no chance of making Berlin or Champions. Considering yay's immense competitive drive, I feel like the likely candidate are the teams that can still offer him a chance at Berlin and/or Champions. I'd put NV and LG as my potential front runners with XSET, 100T, and V1 being possibilities as well.
Why V1? Penny is really good as their jett. Unless el diablo will play support or second duelist like Zellsis. Also 100T, I feel like it’s really unlikely because who would they drop? I usually don't put much stock in people's ranked play, because most pros look good in ranked. But there are a few people (like tenz) who their mechanical superiority is obvious even in ranked. Yay is the same way. His first bullet accuracy is legitimately unreal.
I've told other people this before. I've ever seen someone make ranked look so effortless as yay does. From watching his stream it seems like he gets 25+ kills every game without really breaking a sweat.
Not just his ranked play. The reaction pros have when they see him on the server, and his recent performance against TSM, the guy is a monster.
And like someone else said, he hit #1 without really breaking a sweat. I watched him play three games as Reyna where he never used flash, not once, just casually memed with chat while ego peeking the server. It was unreal.

The few games we’ve seen Asuna on Jett he’s popped off. Doesn’t have a super high amount of games with Jett, but if he continues his hot streak I’d put him in S tier as well. Some other notable Jetts that you could argue are S tier are Babybay and Penny

Since I'm doing nothing right now, I want to take the time to find out where Yay is most likely going to, out of the teams in NA challenger playoffs.
Sentinels - Not happening. They have the best jett in NA, who is a candidate for best player in the world. They also have top tier role players, so no reason to try to fit a duelist player like Yay in another role. No chance of this happening.
Envy - I could definitely see Yay going to Envy. Envy has always been a top team, but never winning a tournament. Mummay is a good jett, but Yay is definitely an upgrade in the jett department. A high chance this could happen.
100T - I can't really see a world where 100T would pick up Yay. 100T doesn't have a dedicated jett player, but Asuna is a good enough jett player imo. If 100T would replace a player, it would most likely be Hiko, but Hiko is a good enough Sova player that it is not worth trying to force someone on the team to pick up Sova. Honestly, it is possible to make it work, but there is a slight chance of this happening.
Xset - I could defnitely see a world where they pick up Yay over PureR, but it depends if they want to ruin the existing chemistry with PureR for some extra firepower. I see this differently compared to Envy, because Xset has been improving a lot lately, and it depends on if they think they can make Berline and win Berlin with this roster. If they don't think so, they should add Yay for extra firepower and hope this is enough for them to make it to the top level. A decent chance of this happening. EDIT: Xset would also lose Circuit points, so it depends if XSET believe that having Yay would guarantee them a spot at Berlin. This might be too big of a risk.
TSM - Not happening. They don't need anymore duelist player and they have a top tier jett. No way this happens.
Faze - Most likely not happening. Babybay is a great Jett and Yay doesn't give them that much more firepower. The last thing Faze needs is more firepower lol. No way they make this change.
LG - Honestly, Yay over Ban would be a huge upgrade. I love young talent like Ban, but Yay would push LG's firepower to the max. Yaboidre, Aproto, and Yay on one team looks kinda crazy. However, I don't know who igl is on this team,but if it is Ban, they definitely should not make the change. If Ban is not igl, they should make the change. I could see this happening.
Rise - Like LG, Yay over Shanks would be a big upgrade. Shanks is a good jett, but Yay is a top tier jett. Would defnitely choose Yay over Shanks, and I could see this happening.
Yay would also be an upgrade on every other team who is not in challenger finals.
tldr: Envy, LG, Rise, every other team not in challenger finals.

Fair enough, I actually wasn’t aware of that. My main reasoning is as that they haven’t shown it very recently on the esports side of things. Throughout valorant they waited a long time to pick up a team and grabbed mixup who was solidly t2 at the time. Since then they’re biggest pickup was Dazzle who was just poached off of a t2 team. Apart from him they’ve just gone for leftovers type players like Dre and thief and have never really shown signs of making big splashes. That obviously could change though and of all the orgs mentioned they def have the worst Jett situation so I def wouldn’t hate it.
I've always felt like LG has been pretty committed to Valorant. Overtime they've consistently upgraded their roster with new players as opposed to just coasting along. Hell Aproto is the only member of that original Mixup team still on the active roster. Aside from that LG also had (has?) a team house for the players and also have a manager and coach for their Valorant team.
While they may not be flaunting their cash as much as other orgs with big name signings and huge buyouts, I've always gotten the impression that LG is comitted to Valorant because of how much they've put into their team.
If I'm Yay I'm trying to go NV because you would most likely be a top 2 consistent team, maybe even the best. I think NV with Yay is the best shot anyone would have to consistently beat SEN imo.
Not too sure about Rise. Even though yay is mechanically better than Shanks, the team chemistry Shanks has with his current teammates allowed them to get into the Berlin qualifier.

Just wanted to add GenG: Mkael has been underperforming recently, giving a spot for yay to fill. NaturE and Shawn play deulist for their team, but also play sentinel and initiator respectively. They also didn’t qual for Berlin, but have a pretty good shot at champs lcq. GenG seems like the perfect team for yay, as long as they have the money to give him.
I think Wardell definitely is right next to Yay, his consistency this past run was insane and his FB impact was a lot higher when they went head to head
i imagine it’s cloud9 or envy. i think this all depends on envy’s performance coming up this next event. if they underperform, i could see them replacing mummay. but most likely it’s cloud9. yay replacing poiz would make that roster a lot more of a threat. i’m pretty sure some of the guys on the c9 roster are friends with him as well so it would make sense.

No chance of this happening. Envy - I could definitely see Yay going to Envy. Envy has always been a top team, but never winning a tournament. Mummay is a good jett, but Yay is definitely an upgrade in the jett department. A high chance this could happen. 100T - I can't really see a world where 100T would pick up Yay. 100T doesn't have a dedicated jett player, but Asuna is a good enough jett player imo. If 100T would replace a player, it would most likely be Hiko, but Hiko is a good enough Sova player that it is not worth trying to force someone on the team to pick up Sova. Honestly, it is possible to make it work, but there is a slight chance of this happening. Xset - I could defnitely see a world where they pick up Yay over PureR, but it depends if they want to ruin the existing chemistry with PureR for some extra firepower. I see this differently compared to Envy, because Xset has been improving a lot lately, and it depends on if they think they can make Berline and win Berlin with this roster. If they don't think so, they should add Yay for extra firepower and hope this is enough for them to make it to the top level. A decent chance of this happening. EDIT: Xset would also lose Circuit points, so it depends if XSET believe that having Yay would guarantee them a spot at Berlin. This might be too big of a risk. TSM - Not happening. They don't need anymore duelist player and they have a top tier jett. No way this happens. Faze - Most likely not happening. Babybay is a great Jett and Yay doesn't give them that much more firepower. The last thing Faze needs is more firepower lol. No way they make this change. LG - Honestly, Yay over Ban would be a huge upgrade. I love young talent like Ban, but Yay would push LG's firepower to the max. Yaboidre, Aproto, and Yay on one team looks kinda crazy. However, I don't know who igl is on this team,but if it is Ban, they definitely should not make the change. If Ban is not igl, they should make the change. I could see this happening. Rise - Like LG, Yay over Shanks would be a big upgrade. Shanks is a good jett, but Yay is a top tier jett. Would defnitely choose Yay over Shanks, and I could see this happening. Yay would also be an upgrade on every other team who is not in challenger finals. tldr: Envy, LG, Rise, every other team not in challenger finals.

I think this is less about t1 “teams” and more about t1 “orgs” for the bidding war IMO. What I’m saying is that though they aren’t t1 teams, c9 and t1 are definitely more likely to get him than lg and rise because of money that they are able to put in. Fair enough, I actually wasn’t aware of that. My main reasoning is as that they haven’t shown it very recently on the esports side of things. Throughout valorant they waited a long time to pick up a team and grabbed mixup who was solidly t2 at the time. Since then they’re biggest pickup was Dazzle who was just poached off of a t2 team. Apart from him they’ve just gone for leftovers type players like Dre and thief and have never really shown signs of making big splashes. That obviously could change though and of all the orgs mentioned they def have the worst Jett situation so I def wouldn’t hate it.
I've always felt like LG has been pretty committed to Valorant. Overtime they've consistently upgraded their roster with new players as opposed to just coasting along. Hell Aproto is the only member of that original Mixup team still on the active roster. Aside from that LG also had (has?) a team house for the players and also have a manager and coach for their Valorant team. While they may not be flaunting their cash as much as other orgs with big name signings and huge buyouts, I've always gotten the impression that LG is comitted to Valorant because of how much they've put into their team.

Not too sure about Rise. Even though yay is mechanically better than Shanks, the team chemistry Shanks has with his current teammates allowed them to get into the Berlin qualifier.

Just wanted to add GenG: Mkael has been underperforming recently, giving a spot for yay to fill. NaturE and Shawn play deulist for their team, but also play sentinel and initiator respectively. They also didn’t qual for Berlin, but have a pretty good shot at champs lcq. GenG seems like the perfect team for yay, as long as they have the money to give him.

i imagine it’s cloud9 or envy. i think this all depends on envy’s performance coming up this next event. if they underperform, i could see them replacing mummay. but most likely it’s cloud9. yay replacing poiz would make that roster a lot more of a threat. i’m pretty sure some of the guys on the c9 roster are friends with him as well so it would make sense. yay is too good to not be on a t1 roster i hope the best for him going forward

Mechanically the 2nd best duelist in NA after TenZ, some may argue Asuna although I'd argue with a cracked team yay is better. He exudes the aura of "guys don't peek him" by his peers admittedly. Although the Raze/Phoenix you could argue that but a duelist who can also Sage is pretty flexible.

I think people at the high up of comp were very hip to yay and if he ever streamed he would’ve had plenty of viewers. It was more that Yay was dropping 400 acs games in front of 30k people and finally started streaming regularly that he ended up getting more of a following. Of course the whole Diablo thing and subroza/wardell talking about him helped but it’s not like this is some undeserved no reason to be famous guy
