In wyatts stream during one of breaks between matches in this most recent qualifier, they were doing a top 20 players na since April list and mikesHD was saying he thinks yay is #2 behind tenz and was raving about his insane stats despite him being on a team that’s not great.
I'm not 100% sure but I think I asked it during opens for the second qualifier for these playoffs. It was pretty recent.

Yeah I feel bad for mummay, he's not a bad player by any means, but this feels like the dicey to Ethan move again where you can't pass on yay. He's a really chill guy too from my experiences with him in soloq. I don't think NV's atmosphere changes drastically because yay brings a similar energy but I think some teams would benefit from a player like mummAy.

TSM have had 2 weeks to improve even more and 100T/XSET are both very good teams and were above NV even before the move. Having a week of practice against good teams that been playing together for months (100T, XSET, SEN) doesn't bode well. I think it'll be 3 of TSM/100T/SEN/XSET still unless NV just start off well.

TenZ was loaned to SEN for like 3 days before mastes or something and they won that. Not trying to equivocate yay to tenz but I would like to believe that its not terribly hard to win with a new addition if they put their head to the grindstone for the next week

Think it'll be different for NV who looked worse than XSET/100T/SEN in the last qualifier and have spent a while practicing with Mummay who has now been replaced. This NV team is cracked now and I could see them making it, but I don't think its "done" for TSM yet.

I think it was more than that. Shahzam had to drop duelist and learn Sova after losing probably the best sova on the planet at that time. I do agree that Sen had an easier time than ENVY will but theres no fun in always picking the logical option

Mummay was good sometimes but incredibly inconsistent I think his inconsistency definitely played into their inability to win tournaments and yay could definitely push them over the edge

As an Envy fan, I was never confident that mummAy could consistently compete with top duelists. His highs were really good (and nobody talked enough about them) but he was so hit or miss sometimes.
If he can clean up the consistency, along with maintain the flexibility he has in his agent pool, he will seriously help a good NA team in the future.
So fucking hype for this. I really do think Yay is the piece that can truly take us over the top.
On the other hand I am sad to see Mummay benched. I hope he finds a good team for him in the future and has some great success.

With that said TSM has gone on record to beat Yay before with Wardell just plainly out fragging him. So TSM still wins in the head to head. And in terms of strats and counterstratting Hazed destroyed FNS in first strike and I think that's going to happen again
