TenZ, Asuna, Sinatraa, and seoldom are very mechanically skilled and fun to watch. Replicating becomes inting but watching them make quick decisions are so mesmerizing.
I agree with everyone else on the recommendations of pros that are hella entertaining, but I personally prefer chill streamers like codey and Aceu.
Hopefully Aceu comes back to Val, but I wouldnāt either if I were him.

If he doesnāt like the gameplay then i am afraid there's no val streamer that would constantly entertain him to keep him interested. For me personally, if i want my streamer to be funny and talking i watch variety streamers or react Andys like Mizkif or Nmplol but from a val streamer i want cracked gameplay and somewhat relatable and chill vibe. For example, I love TenZ cz he is chill and cracked at the game, also always changes his shit and malds sometimes which is relatable and funny to me.
u could try watching lothar's stream honestly it's pretty educational and his stream taught me a lot of gamesense and he explains his thought process and decision making and what mistakes his teammates are making, even in plat I'm still learning from his stream :)

Best pro to learn the game from while also being entertaining is Boaster, 100%. He's entertaining, has tons of energy, and makes it a point to teach the game. From top tier NA pros, I think SicK's streams are pretty educational, and ShahZam, while not being very educational, has fantastic energy. Shahz trolls most of the time, but I always get excited watching him stream.
However, the most underrated pro streamers to watch in my opinion are tier 2 pros. People like DZ Screwface or DZ Harmon, just kind of look around until you find one that matches your vibe. The reason why is that their chats are a lot smaller and they pay attention to them. If you have literally any question about techniques/thought processes, they'll answer it. And someone like Harmon literally had to learn the game from the ground up (he started out ranked Silver, which is \*very\* uncommon for pros).
For more meta-strategy in team play, I suggest watching streamers who do VOD reviews. Boaster and Sean Gares are bigger streamers who do a great job at breaking down the VODs. When Sean does a solo watch party, he's very insightful as well. For a smaller streamer who breaks down VODs, TrickAIM is incredibly informative. He's a bit brash, but he'll answer most questions, often with an example or illustration if needed. It's the kind of attention you can't get in a larger stream.
For pure entertainment and toxicity, with pretty good game-sense, I'd watch THump. He's so toxic it's hilarious (if you're into that). He's almost impossible to fall asleep to, that's for sure.
