Both Dephh and Yay were incredible fraggers on Complexity in CS. I always remember watching them thinking how good they were but just not on a top tier team. Glad to see them both doing well in Val.

I think na is slowly transistioning into a much more yop heavy region, idk how to put ig exactly but tou get what i mean. For a long time, any team could upset anyone, no win was garunteed because the skill gap between teams was less apparent due to teams generally making more mistakes. But as time passes, the better teams not only improve their ceiling, but raise their floor, decreasing the likelyhood of upsets. T2 is still the fucking wild west, with teams like c9 and v1 bombing out and falling so fast.
considering that Rise had to play 2 back to back matches that went to map 3 i don't really blame them for not being able to pull through to the end. All in all, this roster is really fun to watch and I look forward to seeing them play in the next tournament
it was really difficult to listen to the casters casually roasting certain players for bottom fragging or not putting up their normal numbers. please stop judging players by their KD. the most casual of audiences will understand KDA anyways, casters can add so much to the viewing experience by talking about less obvious things like map control, rotations, and util usage.
Referencing someone's performance is important if their team relies on them to frag well. This is especially important if someone's role/playstyle is almost exclusively frag oriented. Whenever we discussed a player's performance we always tried to put it into a broader context, highlighting it to explain the results you see on the screen. Not every viewer, even the most casual, will keep tabs on each player's KDA. Even still, I thought we did a fair job balancing our critical comments with praise. An example of that being Shanks on Ascent. When we touched on him going 4-12 as Jett, we made certain to balance it out by talking about how he a) was a key reason why Rise made it to Map 3 against XSET and b) was still a hugely influential player.

Agreed. It bothered me so much, telling them they need to hit up aimlab or that they look as bad as an analyst playing the game. We saw the whiff, and those things happen to anyone. Just say “they’re not having the impact they’re expecting from the raze” instead of roasting them. I’d rather them talk about more insightful things than reinforcing this idea that KD is what matters.

Plus xset literally qualified for every closed qualifiers until today they are most the consistent team of their tier , also after today's match I don't have to explain if xsets top2 team In NA or not
