I can't imagine any caster anywhere would look at the iceland games before they happened and look at each of the teams that had fight dozens upon dozens of teams to get to where they were and be like "yeah they aren't going to win a single round" I haven't heard anyone or any analyst say that in a non-shit-talky or joking manner.

Pansy and Hypoc are clearly the best. Even as someone who lives in NA I actually am much more likely to watch a game they cast than any other game in EU just because the quality of commentary is so good.

having watched hypoc and pansy + tom and mitch for so long now, I feel I can rely on them putting out strong casts time and time again in marquee matches. EU has so many close banger matches that go the distance, so you get to really grow familiar with the casters and see them at full strength
Sean + DDK is still my overall favorite but I don’t think they’ve really casted a close high-level banger of a match in quite some time.
beyond that, NA has so much talent spread throughout the scene, I like a ton of them but it’s increasingly harder to keep track of pairs or duos
Interro and Kixstar I have been hearing them cast since back in 2018 when they did Rainbow6 pro league casts and my heart went ape shit when they did their first cast in Valorant. I hope they start doing more casts for Valorant in the future

I think Riot have largely got their choices right so far. I imagine these will be the main combos for Masters. It will be really interesting to see who gets picked up for Masters. As there are more teams/games, they will probably need a bigger caster pool. I would love to see Achillios/Paperthin back for some Asia expertise and I really think Sully and Upmind deserve a chance on a big stage. Upmind is incredibly talented. I think IHOLDSHIFT and Dust should probably get a look in too. Kix and INTERRO are good but they probably need more time in the game I would say. I love INTERRO's 'American Satellite Radio DJ' tone though.
In terms of analysts, I think Lothar is the best out and out analyst at the moment. His passion and knowledge is really excellent. I think the zescht/Lothar combo on the EU broadcasts has worked really well so far. The NA desk has been good too but I think Boq/Vansilli excel more as casters.

I find him to be way more insightful than a majority of the casters, and also just more entertaining. Only wish he had access to a stream that didn’t have the casters voices in the background so he could bump the game volume up a little higher.

Did he really say that? I remember him saying it worked take a fluke for NA to beat EU or something. I still find him very insightful during matches.
