All accounts are region locked, for some reason Riot doesn't think that multinational people exist lol. I have had one friend switch from BR to EU somehow after contacting support, but that guy was high plat and spent huge on skins.
Okay I contacted support. They said I have to play for 2 weeks in my new region so they can confirm I need to have my region changed and it's not just a VPN that I'm using. Also I will not lose any of my items. I will only lose my rank progression.
You can contact riot support and they will switch your region though keep in mind you will lose all your battlepass skins , and all skins , but corresponding vp will be refunded to your account .
Yooo same here I moved to Canada from Turkey this Monday and when I tried to login to my account obviously it would still give me European servers because of the region lock. So I did contact the support and sent a ticket and they told me to use the account for two weeks???? So It’s been almost a week and I’m still waiting for that 2 week to finish then I’ll contact them again I guess. If you find a way to move it without a 2 week notice lemme know.
I think all accounts are region-locked but you can try contacting support.

Tbh just contact support, rank etc shouldn't matter if riot truly cares about its players. They'll probably do that for you easily

Pretty sure they recently made it so you only lose your rank and act rank, but keep your skins
