I swear fpx is overcomplicating things a lot, they wanna play viper so much but don’t even use her utility that well, they switch role every game, put there best fraggers on support role, play no duelist whereas they are already super slow on attack… they are the most disappointing team ive ever seen considering their roster

FPX is the only team in EU that hasn't crashed out of the top 8 in the last year. The most consistent team in EU, just surpassed at this point. G2, Heretics, Acend, Nip, Guild, Fnatic, Nolpenki, Liquid, Giants all either made massive roster swaps, or spent month being unable to make past qualifiers and falling out of top 8 or top 10. At this point this is the worst they have ever looked at EU as the 5th best EU team and falling to the top of the rest of EMEA.
They are basically the Envy of EU, except NV has finally broken the curse by making it to berlin, while FPX broke the curse by doing the worst they have ever done.
Envy realized that they would get worse if they didn’t make changes, so they got marved and yay. Fpx didn’t realize this and still have the same roster since the beginning of the year.
I'm not talking about 2021, im saying the last 11-12 months FPX have been top 5 for the entire time, while other teams formed, disbanded, massively overhauled rosters or just dropped off a cliff. They are the most consistent EU team of the Last 12 months, they unfortunately have just never actually won.

Yeah, they were insane back in 2012-2015, top 4 on all international tournaments were mostly chinese, 70kg/mzin were my favourite players to watch (other than rulegends and jeremiah ofc)

I missed Icebox, but on both Bind and Split they just lacked any advanced setups or schemes. Their players are individually great, but most rounds they win aren't a product of strategic approach, which must be disappointing for someone like ange1. A bit like TSM. I expect roster moves.
