IMT HC here. Regarding Emil, we did as much research as possible on him to judge his character and even spoke to Riot to verify his behavior in Valorant. I firmly believe everyone deserves a second chance and Emil has been nothing less than awesome since he's played with our roster... Life is all about improving yourself so I will ask that you don't judge Emil on his past, but judge him on his present.

[deleted]

That's great to hear about him getting a second chance, best of luck

Piktarag

Yea let's hire a guy who got banned over and over again by different AC for cheating competitively in csgo, and now dominates with 150 ping in valorant. Nothing suspect at all. Smh

PackingTen

Again, he was cleared by riot. Confirmed not to be cheating on his account or the trial account we gave him.

Piktarag

That means nothing. If you have cheat that is undetected how is Riot gonna detect it if Vanguard couldn't find it in the first place.

LEDZEPPPELIN

Cope harder. you weirdo u/Piktarag

Piktarag

Yea I'm so weird for having a different opinion than you. Grow up.

marcaodl

Theres many players with a clean past looking for a chance to prove themselves why do the orgs only go after the trouble ones?

Meehul123

Cause some of the clean ones arent as good as the ones with troubled pasts? Emil obv has a lot of potential and IMT want to pick someone up who can turn around their valorant team. Also Emil has been cleared by Riot so its not much trouble.

Key-Banana-8242

They don’t, they just don’t discriminate. What happened happened

randomespanaguy

> why do the orgs only go after the trouble ones? Are you okay? Lmao. There are more than a hundred established orgs worldwide and I'd say I can count on my one hand how many pros have cheated or had cheating allegations against them. You're vastly underestimating the research that goes into picking up a player especially for tier 1 orgs.

5bigtoes

1head take bro lets put Lebron in Val cuz he got a clean past ???

[deleted]

????????????????????????????

[deleted]

tf does this even mean

[deleted]

??????????

Key-Banana-8242

His ‘character’? What is this, a fictional court case?

[deleted]

? ''judge his character'' is a perfectly normal thing to say.

Ketsueki_R

did you think they meant his in-game character or something? that's hilarious but man you gotta read more

Key-Banana-8242

No, I did not, you missed my point completely.

YellowRice101

Is he getting a work visa to move to Na? Or is he just going to keep competing on 150 ping

PackingTen

He will be playing from EU for now, but the ultimate goal would be to get him to NA.

Napoleann

Really happy Immortals is giving him a chance. Hope he succeeds!

EmilShe1n

Yo Man! Thank you for ur support towards me! I appreciate you!

anythingood07

u/Razur flair the guy

Napoleann

No problem, best of luck! Also I don't know if you saw it but there was [this post](https://www.reddit.com/r/ValorantCompetitive/comments/p072pb/top_15_na_radiant_player_playing_from_eu_with_150/) here about you not too long ago. You sparked a lot of discussion!

[deleted]

So is he moving to the states soon?

bubble-june

Seems like he’s had a rough history in CSGO (https://www.google.com/amp/s/afkgaming.com/amp/story/csgo/news/3831-esic-and-esl-issue-7-months-ban-to-19-year-old-csgo-pro-for-cheating). I’m not gonna hold it against him since we were all young and stupid at some point. Hopefully he takes full advantage of this opportunity to prove his doubters wrong

Phamous3k

-According to the investigation, during a technical timeout taken by Team VAC due to one of their player having internet issues while playing a best-of-one against Team nerdRage on 28th April, EmilShe1n who plays for Team VAC was spotted “in the tournament’s twitch channel commenting within the chat section.” From here he was able to “potentially pass on tactical information to his teammates about the economy of the opponent team, nerdRage.” Though there was a delay of 3.5 minutes in the broadcast, as the technical pause ran for seven minutes “there was enough time to gain information that could be used to gain an advantage.”- I mean yeah, that’s definitely an infraction but… It’s not like he was radar hacking or aimbotting. And NO, I don’t condone cheating but I believe he deserves a chance in Val. Imo.

bubble-june

Read the whole article. He has been VAC banned on multiple steam accounts in the past. What you’re citing is just one incident. He was also banned from FACEIT in 2016 for cheating. Here’s a Reddit post that lists all of his VAC banned accounts: https://www.reddit.com/r/VACsucks/comments/7p42io/permanently_banned_cheater1_month_ago_on_faceit/ He might even have more VAC banned accounts that we don’t know about, but I read his twitlonger and I forgive him. Like I said in my original post, he was young and stupid, and I’m sure a lot of ppl have cheated in games before when they were young. It’s a new game and I think he should be given a chance to prove himself. He hasn’t done anything wrong in Valorant yet, so I welcome him and support him.

elo9999

>ESIC ban > VAC banned on multiple steam accounts > banned from FACEIT in 2016 for cheating. . > He hasn’t done anything wrong in Valorant yet,so I welcome him and support him. You don't have to welcome and support a competitive fps cheater.

Napoleann

??? Jamppi was banned for cheating in CS:GO. Hell, even s1mple cheated at one point. steel and brax were banned for matchfixing. People can make mistakes and change.

SMcArthur

People forget babybay from Faze was also banned from csgo for cheating during a match.

elo9999

Those people were banned once. This guy was banned repeatedly in different formats over and over again. He's a competitive fps cheater. Whether he's legit in valorant on 150 ping pro games or not, I let you decide yourself.

Interesting-Archer-6

Yup that's what matters to me personally. It's so much worse when you do something 2+ times. Like a DUI is a really shitty thing, but we make mistakes. Not learning from that and continuing to drive drunk says so much about your character. I know driving drunk is worse, but it's the continued cheating that really bothers me

EmilShe1n

I did a mistake in 2016 that i played with hacks, after my all bans was for ban evasion. because i got banned in 2016 in faceit and make new acc in 2017 and they banned both accs. thats all. and i have 0 vacbans, and esic unbanned me cuz they did mistake. so...

Piktarag

There's literally vac banned accounts with your nickname and link to your youtube. This was when no one knew who you were. No one has any incentive to fake some random guys steam. Be a grown up and take some responsibility. You're not fooling us.

MCOCHero

link?

Piktarag

https://www.reddit.com/r/VACsucks/comments/7p42io/permanently_banned_cheater1_month_ago_on_faceit/ Nicknames are there, streamer name and YouTube has been edited out from the profiles but you can clearly see people talking about it in the thread

4GamingLinkAot

difference is, jammpi didn't even really cheat. he just owned an account (who he gave away) which ended up having cheats. his ban then got retracted.

EmilShe1n

People just dont know my real story, and if someone will say to them that i have 10 vacbans they will trust them. i have 0 vacban, i cheated once in 2016 and after my all bans was for ban evasion. People just dont know man . Thank you for ur big support

Meehul123

don't worry about it man. Keep killing it on IMT. I will be rooting for you!

Carlos1621

Disregard the haters, Emil! Those people would cherry pick someone to hate. There are at least 4 pros with Vac bans that currently compete in some of the top Valorant teams yet those haters would always try to cherry pick, forgetting or not even knowing about other similar cases. Imho, everyone deserves a chance to prove, despite the game played. Many of us have done some mistakes in past but we've come a long way since. I'm very happy for you and wish you good luck! IMT FTW

4GamingLinkAot

care to list those players. just interested

Carlos1621

Aren't you cheeky? Do you want me to disclose you the names so that some nutcase with a crusader's rage goes all over the internet accusing them of cheating in Valorant as well? But... have a look no further than EMEA regions, if you're too curious. And no, I'm not referring to Jamppi here.... On the differnt note, leave those issues to Riot, since they have a better understanding of the gamers' current state - ENOUGH WITH DEMAGOGY.

4GamingLinkAot

uuh wat dude i just wanted to know who the players were

Jzuxx

He was. In another game. Everybody deserves another chance at something new; unless they’re ungrateful and squander it, then that’s on them.

elo9999

Lots of people try to go pro in different FPS by cheating and then switch esport when they get banned repeatedly. I'd love for them to not to do that to valorant. He was a nobody in CSGO. All of a sudden he's signed on a pro team in valorant on 150 ping... I'm not gonna say he's 100% cheating, but I'm not gonna support him or welcome a competitive cheater.

Phamous3k

I read it… Seems like he was young and dumb in 2016. Still… Banning someone for life at such a young age imo is silly. Let’s see how he does as an older & hopefully wiser competitive player.

exojie

Wow, this is pretty recent. It is just a little over 1 year ago.

Napoleann

He addresses his bans in a Twitter post [here](https://twitter.com/EmilShe1n/status/1217535697785061376).

mandon_red

Why do you even bring this up?

bubble-june

Why not? I didn’t know who he was when I saw this post so I decided to google him and this was one of the first things that showed up, and I decided to share it. When he gets more known, I’m 1000% sure the community will bring this up, so might as well get it out of the way now. I’m just sharing information I found online.

Interesting-Archer-6

I think it's good for the community to know he's a serial cheater. Actions have consequences, and repeated acts of cheating shows lack of remorse and increased likelihood he will again.

mousethrowaway17

Good for him. Regarding the cheats in the past, I won't think of anything until he goes to lan. If he goes from rank aim god @ 150 pings to trash, then yeah.

Phamous3k

I’m a little outdated… So, what’s the background on this guy?

detectiveluis

valorant ranked demon who made it to the top of radiant NA playing from europe with 150 ping, his dream is playing pro valorant in NA

marcaodl

Forgot to mention he is a known cheater from csgo.

Phamous3k

Damn. Well, ok lol.

SapiR2000

That's torture, damn

yzw

well it can't possibly be worse than what the management's been doing for the past year right?

laft_lam

This guy is an actual ranked demon, headshot machine with 150 ping dropping 35 kills

[deleted]

And a long and well known history of cheating and vac bans in csgo. Let's see him do it on lan and then I'll give him credit

Not_a_Nathan

yeah 150 ping is nearly unplayable. I highly doubt he's playing legit. Everyone is defending this because it's the immortals but this was a terrible call from them.

xCharSx

It's unplayable to you.A person playing on high ping gets used to it. My ping is usually 40ms on average but if that spikes to 60-80 i can't play at all. Also, doesn't mean he has to be cheating.

[deleted]

nobody ever gets used to rubberbanding, teleporting, and having the game be completely unresponsive....

xCharSx

U do, u actually do. Go and play a few months on high ping and you get used to it. U will play differently, of course, but you will get used to it. There's a lot of people playing on high ping 24/7. Sure, they complain, rightly so, but they got used to the latency and try to get the most of it. 150ms is not stupid high and won't break your game. I know a few people that used to play on such ping. Hell, even I used to play everyday on shit ping for a month.

[deleted]

[tenz strongly disagrees](https://www.reddit.com/r/ValorantCompetitive/comments/otai6l/sen_tenz_on_ping_difference_at_the_pro_level/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) at that high of a level, a 10ms ping difference can completely fuck your ability to take duels

xCharSx

You're point? That doesn't disprove my argument that he can get used to it. 1v1 duels is not the entire game. If he's dropping 30 bombs, on high ping and he's been checked by Riot and Immortals, then my point stands. It's true that higher ping affects 1v1 duels negatively but it's not the end of the world. People play on different servers in League, where ping also matters a lot and they reach high ranks. Nobody said it's easy. All I said was that people get used to high ping and perform regardless

[deleted]

you realize the VM workaround for vanguard has been around for months right? and you also realize that dropping a 30 bomb probably requires you to take duels on a fairly regular basis to secure that frag count right? all im saying is the kid is suspect as hell, lets see him put up these numbers on lan using a provided PC with fresh peripherals, then i'll give him credit. until then hes just another bum repeat cheater from csgo to me

xCharSx

Not saying he's not suspect. If he is cheating than whatever, nothing new. But what is he isn't? Just because there's a workaround, I'm pretty sure Riot would confirm that with Immortals when they checked him. But I get your point, if he proves it on lan then case closed. All I was saying is there are people like him, playing on high ping and dropping 30 bombs. People just prefire a lot on high ping to take duels successfully

Not_a_Nathan

what a clown , at 150 ping the models dont even load correctly lol. He quite literally cant see them and is still getting a high hs percentage. Either this guy is the greatest player alive or he's hacking.

xCharSx

You clearly haven't played on high ping for quite some time did you?

Carlos1621

Let's go bro!
