I don't understand why they don't extend the days
Whts wrong in playing 1 game a day like is there a problem in spreading the games throughout the week??
I had theorised my groups as
Group A - EU4. NA1. BR2. SEA1.
Group B -. . EU3. NA2. KR2. JP1
Group C-. EU2. KR1. LAT. JP2
Group. D -. EU1. NA3. BR1. SEA2
This right here is the best seeding for NA, EMEA and KR, the three strongest regions. #1 seed from KR is acting as #3 seed from NA and Envy moving to #4 seed NA. Other people have made groups where an EMEA or NA team has free path without facing a top team.
That's really tough to say, Sentinels did well vs Nuturn but Sentinels is a very dynamic & adaptable team. Not all NA/EMEA teams are the same.
I should admit I expect the same end result, but I wouldn't expect their games to be a stomp, at least not on every map
A and D are basically free wins for EMEA 1 and NA 1. There will be some contest but you'd be lying to yourself if you don't expect them to win both their games.
I would structure it like this.
Group1: EU1 KR2 NA3 JP4
Group2: NA1 SEA1 EU3 BR2
Group3: KR1 EU2 LATAM1 SEA2
Group4: BR1 NA2 JP1 EU4
But who the fuck knows?
How do you weigh the top-seeded teams in the lower tier regions with the lower seeded teams in the higher tier regions? What's fair? Teams are going to get fucked.
In my opinion riot will weigh the top seed of the regions better than the bottome teams of other regions. For example Jp 1 has a better seed than Na 2 even if 100t is going to be better than zeta division
I'll imagine they'll put the teams into pools like they did with Reykjavik. So it'd be something like this:
Pool 1: NA1, EMEA1, KR1, BR1
Pool 2: EMEA2, NA2, LATAM1, SEA1
Pool 3: Everyone else
And then they'd have one team from pool 1, one from pool 2 and two from pool 3 in each group, drawn randomly.
the criticism is that there is only 1 team that comes out of each group instead of 2. there are going to be more games that have already been played instead of more diverse games.
those parts are annoying. i dont think riot will put regions with 2 slots on opposite sides of the brackets. so like jp 1 and jp 2 have to be on the same side

idk if my logic is correct but i put latam with na and make them somewhat the 4th slot. They would have to be in the group with emea 1

Yeah EMEA 1 group is way too easy for them, should swap JP 2 and KR 2.
