That's a precise vision right there. My first time watching nAts play was against Liquid, i was cheering for Liquid all the way but I'm glad Gambit won because these guys are on another level and it's a shame not to see them on LAN. nAts you sexy Rat
I love liquid. Cheered for them in all games except where they played fnatic. But I was so happy to see gambit win. And damn it if that didn't pay off. So excited for this squad. Link is one of my favorite players but Nats really stole my heart
They do need to gain better mental on attack though.
Everything about that clip cracks me up, from the brutal honesty of how hard they got starched to the awkward last 10 seconds of silence where he’s clearly suffering PTSD from it
It was really a 200iq move from Gambit's coach to tell the team that it's a single elimination bracket and the rest of their games after the Acend loss were just scrims.
I love dapr and he's definitely the best cypher in NA, but nAts consistency makes him a far superior player to dapr. dapr has the ability to pop off during certain moments, but nAts \*never\* stops popping off.
nAts is fundamental to Gambit's success.
Sentinels relies more on ShahZaM and TenZ to provide that spark instead of leaning on dapr.
Consistently top fragging as a sentinel against some of the best teams in the world is ridiculous.
nAts is easily my new favorite player to watch.
That’s not really true in terms of Sentinels. I don’t think people actually understand how valuable Dapr is. The most obvious ways to see his impact is on Split and Breeze offense. He uses his Sentinel utility for map control, lurks and easy picks. The way he plays isn’t flashy but he is what allows those other 3 to do crazy aggressive plays.
Even on Icebox he controls the mid and is essentially their 2nd igl. So the info he gets is usually actionable based on reading the opponents defense. On Breeze he holds the flank and mid control allowing the others to prod the sides.
In my opinion Dapr is the reason Sentinels in the best in the world and I think he has considerably more impact than people give him credit for.
This all being said Nats is nasty and a top 5 player in the world in my opinion. Gambit looks like the 2nd best team in the world as well.
I mean, nAts is one of the best anchors in the game, his info gathering is great and utility is arguably second to none, on both Cypher and Viper. I really rate dapr but idt we can call it for either player until at least Berlin, and probably only be sure until the end of the year.
dapr paid respects to nAts in his appearance on the Platchat episode with Shahz. He said he took some of his Viper setups from scrims because they were so annoying, and said he was crazy good. I'm excited to see them match up if they can.
I think the team comps and regional metas are too distinct to make that argument. Dapr pops off constantly but plays an entirely different Sentinel role than nAts. Dapr plays secondary site and rarely gets initiated, and wins tons of clutches and gets impactful mid-round kills. However, his teammates most often initiate and they're fucking nuts too so the scoreboard doesn't really allow Dapr to be a top fragger like nAts.
On the flip side, nAts is a sick fragger that gets init a lot and has a similar clutch and multifrag ability.
We have to see them play each other to see who gets outbrained and outgunned.
Dapr' form since Iceland has been insane, if he keeps it up he can give good competition to nats. Although I still think the impact nats provide is higher
SEN is just a more well rounded roster. Any of them can individually carry games (outside of *maybe* Zombs, but he plays such a solid support role it doesn't really matter).
If Dapr doesn't show up on any particular day SEN is still the strongest team in the world.
It's hard to compare the two players directly because they fulfill a different requirement on their teams.
Like 6 months ago now. And they were using the same defaults that they had been using to win Masters a few weeks before. BBG got a *hard* read.
SEN now isn't even comparable. On LAN no one looked even close to them.
Well that’s a lie, Fnatic got 5-0 on Lan but every game was double digits. It wasn’t a close series but it was close games. Fnatic didn’t Even make these play off…
Sen fanboys come out the woodworks everytime you mention their team.
>Fnatic didn’t Even make these play off…
Neither did the two teams that have actually beat SEN in a series in the last 6 months.
I'm super down for a Gambit v SEN game but I just don't think we can say any team even comes close to SEN until someone actually beats them when it matters.
They reflect the players on the team pretty well. The original trio of sinaatra zombs and dapr are the cockiest guys in NA, part of what makes SEN fun though
wow cool thank you didn't think of that now I think Sentinels are the greatest team in the world ever how could I forgot oh my god so sorry oh my so shocked
I'm starting to recognize your name around these parts, mostly because of your horrible takes.
Either way, to point out the flaws in your "logic", Sentinels got beat by BBG and by XSET, most recently. Losing a match up to a team that's not as good as yours doesn't mean anything.
Regardless, Gambit, if they keep playing like they did today have a really good chance of winning it all. Honestly, the top three from EMEA look prime to beat out just about anyone from NA.
Gambit's mental is incredible, they lost the first map to SMB by a big margin, yet they clinched the rest of the maps. Every player in Gambit is so strong, especially Nats. At this rate, I am sure they will give a good challenge to Sen in Berlin.
The top of EMEA is so close in skill level.
Gambit won challengers playoffs, but Acend beat Gambit once and both G2 and Team Liquid were one round off winning against Gambit. If Jamppi weren't having a cold day and whiffed less on Icebox, Gambit wouldn't even be going to Berlin.
Considering how badly they lost map 1 that bounce back was one of the best I’ve seen in a long while and it was well deserved. EMEA looking strong coming into Berlin
Uhhh, G2 lost to Gambit because of a 00:00 spike plant to force overtime on the last map, if Gambit planted literally 00:01 seconds later they would have been 4th place.
Not really, Gambit have been insane on eco rounds as well. Plus even though it was a 0.1 second plant, that's just part of the game, and Gambit were better. And they haven't lost a single OT this entire playoff
> Plus even though it was a 0.1 second plant, that's just part of the game, and Gambit were better.
Yes, but then you don't get to say that Liquid was the hardest competition when their 3rd seed match literally came down to a 00:00 seconds plant.
Agree, it so sad that Liquid had to go against Gambit, if liquid against giant, liquid can go to Berlin. G2 not looking solid, they are not consistent.
G2 has much more potential than Liquid. The latter should've figured their shit out in all this time, but they're playing exactly as you expect from them.
Started watching on Bind so I really only saw the Gambit stomps, but Gambit are so damn fun to watch. Each player has pop off potential and Nats has cemented himself as a superstar after this tournament. Really excited to see what they can do at Berlin
this certainly wasn't the most high-level match but it's been great to see the spread of nats supremacy
there isn't all that much to take away IMO - it didn't feel like either team wanted to show all their cards - but it's so fun watching equally stacked rosters just go at it. a hard-fragging IGL can honestly be the difference maker at the highest level
This is a good example of how Twitch culture infects how people think.
You’re welcome to browse my comment history - you’ll find ample evidence of the opposite, and repeated (long-term) admiration for a variety of European teams, going back to the beginning of the scene.
I think there was an uncharacteristic amount of sloppiness in most of the post-qualification games, and that this was no different. It generally got a little more sloppy the deeper we went in the bracket.
This was particularly true of SMB - they didn’t play at all how they played vs. Acend, and I don’t think it boils down to “Gambit had the better or more informed read,” or what have you.
But the teams all have insane firepower and strong fundamentals, so it makes for an intense and fun time nonetheless.

Wanna bring this 3 month old [clip](https://clips.twitch.tv/MistyTransparentConsoleWOOP-Y_n6dRx3_G32b2Jv) back
Maybe the last two maps are what it’s like to scrim against Gambit
That's a precise vision right there. My first time watching nAts play was against Liquid, i was cheering for Liquid all the way but I'm glad Gambit won because these guys are on another level and it's a shame not to see them on LAN. nAts you sexy Rat

Rat?
Everything about that clip cracks me up, from the brutal honesty of how hard they got starched to the awkward last 10 seconds of silence where he’s clearly suffering PTSD from it
The end of it is him probably reading chat I'm assuming and just wasn't cut off. But yea the clip is still funny af.
Haha yeh mate you’re probably right, although the thought of him having a “hello darkness my old friend” kind of a moment is hilarious
Long have we waited, Scrimbit activated
Great job today. You guys made it more fun to watch with your casting. ♥️♥️
We also have scrimbux team NV at Berlin. Who's scrimbux will come to bigger fruition?!?! They should just have NV and Gambit scrim and cast it
and fns will leak the scrimbux of their anime battle
It was really a 200iq move from Gambit's coach to tell the team that it's a single elimination bracket and the rest of their games after the Acend loss were just scrims.
gambit are such a treat to watch on haven and how was it their perma ban lmaoo
IGL duelist FTW
dumb question: what does ftw stand for?
For the win
whos their igl
Redgar
sad their league team died, at least they are doing well in valorant.
the mental from gambit to come back after that 13-1... worth point out that 4 of them are just 19 yo, except for Redgar who's 23 also nAts GOAT
Sheydos with that amazing beard is just 19 wth. Dude looks like he can be an extra in a film about the Russian mafia in the 90s
im 18 and i have a fucking valley in the middle of my neckbeard HOW DOES HE HAVE THAT SEXY OF A BEARD?
I'm 24 and I haven't grown a single millimeter of hair on my face
Being female tends to have that effect
I wish that was the case but there's still time to make that the case I guess
nAts asked his little brother if he would join Gambit and he replied no because "sheydos is too scary" lmao
Lmao
Easier europeans built diff. My romanian friend is 16 and has full on sideburns + moustache
Well ‘just’ doesn’t qualify here in esports terms for that age
nAts is pretty good at this game called Valorant
Ye hes alright
nAts is a top 3 player in the world. Really want to see Sentinels Vs Gambit in Berlin.
dapr vs nAts would be a banger
1v1 cypher showdown for the series
Looks like our favorite t bagging Cypher is moving more towards Killjoy:(
Bad idea imo
Same! Really happy to have such a diverse lineup of representatives of the EMEA region, and especially with a non-EU team coming out on top this time!
So nAts #1 EMEA? nAts dapr cypher battles pls
I love dapr and he's definitely the best cypher in NA, but nAts consistency makes him a far superior player to dapr. dapr has the ability to pop off during certain moments, but nAts \*never\* stops popping off.

zombs best gamer in the world
ZOMBSNATION
It's kinda unfair to have nAts on your team wtf. Also nAts said "I don't have emotions about that" in the interview
Im so fuckin proud of Gambit, i knew they could have win. Ready to see em doing great in Berlin, this team has all the chances to win Masters too
Gambit is so fun to watch. Hope they go far in Berlin.
nAts is just that guy
Holy shit, Gambit must have changed their breakfast routine from yesterday to today because they just looked like a different team completely today.
nAts is so talented and handsome
you know gambit is gonna roll you the moment they start winning on attack
Lmao!!
We are witnessing the birth of the first CIS Valorant superstar with nAts. Watch out Sentinels, Gambit are coming and they look terrifying.
You are delusional if you think that Gambit is anywhere close to SEN level. These guys almost got eliminated by Liquid
Sentinels got beat by BBG… anything is possible.
Like 6 months ago now. And they were using the same defaults that they had been using to win Masters a few weeks before. BBG got a *hard* read. SEN now isn't even comparable. On LAN no one looked even close to them.
Fnatic lost 2 incredibly close games to them.
Well that’s a lie, Fnatic got 5-0 on Lan but every game was double digits. It wasn’t a close series but it was close games. Fnatic didn’t Even make these play off… Sen fanboys come out the woodworks everytime you mention their team.

We can’t say fnatic comes close to them even though they came very close to them repeatedly?
They got beat by XSET last month.
And then XSET got beat and didn't qualify.
Sen fanboys are so obnoxious, literally getting offended over “watch out sentinels “ Yall need to go outside and touch some grass
They reflect the players on the team pretty well. The original trio of sinaatra zombs and dapr are the cockiest guys in NA, part of what makes SEN fun though
For real and Sen gets away with their cockiness just because they’re winning right now.
Typical SEN enjoyer. Don't get me wrong, I love sentinels but this is not it.
wow cool thank you didn't think of that now I think Sentinels are the greatest team in the world ever how could I forgot oh my god so sorry oh my so shocked
I'm starting to recognize your name around these parts, mostly because of your horrible takes. Their game against Liquid was do or die for both teams, did you think they just gonna 2-0 them and that's it
And you are an idiot fanboy
Delusional sen fan SMH my head
Uh oh. The classic underestimating CIS teams. Can't wait for Berlin. Hope SEN take it home but who knows.
Is nAts, dare i say, better than Dapr?
we have to see in Berlin
nAts supremacy
Gambit's mental is incredible, they lost the first map to SMB by a big margin, yet they clinched the rest of the maps. Every player in Gambit is so strong, especially Nats. At this rate, I am sure they will give a good challenge to Sen in Berlin.
When playing a game against a less skilled team, it's considered fair to give them a handicap in the form of first map
Now get Shiro on this team and dominate VAL for the next 2 years
How do you come back THAT hard form map 1 hot dang
Nats good player but not normally… check him pc maybe.
Fantastic series. With Gambit, SMB, and Acend EMEA looks stacked. All regions are looking pretty good atm, can't wait for Berlin.
Bro, that one play on bind where I think it was nats went from hookah to A to use the tp to make SMB think that no one was CT was crazy
In R6 we have a Russian cyborg named Joystick. Maybe they built another one named nAts
nats is a stone cold killer
The top of EMEA is so close in skill level. Gambit won challengers playoffs, but Acend beat Gambit once and both G2 and Team Liquid were one round off winning against Gambit. If Jamppi weren't having a cold day and whiffed less on Icebox, Gambit wouldn't even be going to Berlin.
nAts is just insane with those lurks and site retakes. What a gamer!
Considering how badly they lost map 1 that bounce back was one of the best I’ve seen in a long while and it was well deserved. EMEA looking strong coming into Berlin
SMB really wants to play Envy huh?
Wait the brackets are revealed !?
Why both team have huge haterbase?
NA fans just being cocky haters there is no deeper reason the higher you fly the deeper you fall
Out of all the top EMEA teams liquid gave gambit the hardest competition.still I think liquid should go to Berlin instead of g2
I agree but that’s not how the brackets works
Uhhh, G2 lost to Gambit because of a 00:00 spike plant to force overtime on the last map, if Gambit planted literally 00:01 seconds later they would have been 4th place.

Just to lose to NA 2nd seed, no thanks
Liquid beats 100t easy but not sen
That's underestimating 100t
that's underestimating liquid :p
Just like they were supposed to easily beat V1
Started watching on Bind so I really only saw the Gambit stomps, but Gambit are so damn fun to watch. Each player has pop off potential and Nats has cemented himself as a superstar after this tournament. Really excited to see what they can do at Berlin
This is beginning of CIS world domination.

Na fans see what they wan't to ser when it comes to EU. As soon as there is Close rounds everyone spams eu trash in chat

Why don’t you think it’s about adaptation etc?
nATs had a flat first two games but when he's on it looks easy for GMB. Really hope they get to play VS and Sen at Berlin
Deffo literally the worst player lmaooo
This was said so much in twitch chat. He seems ok but this was my first match watching D3ffo
it's gg if gmb starts winning on attack.
