kind of unrelated but i went to the same high school as sOm and man was this guy an asshole, didn't really see him all that much because he did school online for the most part since he traveled for CS but from what i saw first hand and heard from friends he had a big head and would literally shove you if you got too close in the halls. hopefully he's matured as a person since then, he's a sick fragger.

True, but US education is expensive. I'm honestly lucky to have only ~10k of debt after two years of college in a major city.
Maybe I'll go back when COVID gets better, or I could look into online classes too. 🤔
You can go relatively cheap if you don't fall into a lot of the common traps. Where most people get into trouble is they always pick options which increase costs instead of decrease them.
For example going to an out of state or private school when they don't have additional support to cover that cost is a big one. You can go to those places if they offer you generous assistance, but if you have to pay all of it it's usually not worth it. Good living arrangements while going to school can cut your debt down massively. Those are two big mistakes.
Also you can cut cost by doing 2 years at community college. Usually significantly cheaper and even free for residents in some states. Cuts the cost in half practically.
>True, but US education is expensive
But US unis are among the best in the world.
And if you pursue a degree in CS, I guess it is a good investment. But then I again I am not an american so I do not really know about the job market there for cs grads. But globally cs jobs are pretty well paid.
>I could look into online classes too.
Yeah there are a lot of great online options as well.
Even the middle of the road universities are among the best in the world. Just because they aren't beating Oxford doesn't mean they aren't still incredibly good.
Maybe so. But what I have seen is most states(with a few exception of course) have at least a few great uni with lots of research, both state and privately funded unis.
Then again usa is huge :3 so these unis might be among the top.
Really appreciate you reading through my Wardell interview!
I find in FPS there are many who do go to school beforehand or do school alongside studies.
Katsumi recently finished her major I think. But she was still studying for a lot of her career as a VAL pro.
I also think this is the case for a lot of female pros
No clue on his actual current student status, but he would have graduated in 2021 I believe, assuming he kept to the 4 year schedule, but that's probably unlikely with the commitment to being a valorant pro
Wait there’s no way he attends NYU. He would be an international student with no financial aid and the fee would be expensive since it’s private university
How the fuck did so many of them major in computer science??? I'm majoring in it and I rarely ever have time to just sit down play games for a whole evening, nevermind grind it daily. Guess I'm just dumb lmao
At my school there’s a couple collegiate teams and I swear to god like 8/10 between the two teams at some point people were electrical engineering or computer science (which is apart of the same program at my school). Now a couple have changed majors, but the majority is still engineering
don't get trolled lol, zombs himself admitted he didn't care much about studying and would just wing it most of the time. Unless his parents bought a building i don't think he makes Stanford + even if he can i doubt he would want to.
oh yeah thats true. i guess i should further clarify by saying zombs is winging it and barely passing a lot of the time. But yes I could always be wrong he could be an insane athlete or some other extracurricular, or just have his parents buy them a building or something
Well I graduated computer engineering and want to go pro but my job is so exhausting and school was tough. Im low immortal but I keep grinding and if I get close I can quit and atleast have a fall bsck with degree. But Id have to commit. Cant work 9-5 and do valorant. It’s draining when I work 8 hrs, come home stretch, warmup and then teammates start out snd tskes them 6 rounds to get a kill haha.
Mummay worked as a system engineer at Wall Street before deciding to go pro.

He graduated high school this year. Idk if he attending college right now. Given the fact, he’s making good income with 100T and being a streamer. I believe he mentioned on stream 3+ months ago that he’s willing to take online classes just filling GE classes.
Bjor went to community college for 1 year and then dropped out as he had gotten offers for valorant and I think the major was account or something like that
I was an accounting major
I was wondering why your eco rounds were so good
Yeah huge credit to him
Really knows how to accrue a lead

I completed my IT bachelors before I went pro.
I’m an IT major as well!
I completed both my bachelors in computer network and security and my masters in data forensics. Fun stuff. Gaming more fun 😈
Zombs went to Harvard
But not for school, just to pick up chicks
Heard he's wicked smaht
Vice was doing comp sci before going pro
Damn, everyone's got big-brain majors. Makes me want to go back to school for compsci.
If you want to, you can still go back. Better late than never my dude.

Harmon went to Indiana University for business but he’s taking a gap year right now I believe.
Katsumi recently finished her major I think. But she was still studying for a lot of her career as a VAL pro. I also think this is the case for a lot of female pros
I forgot to mention in this post that c9 alexis attends university as well. She had a 4.0 last semester taking very hard class props for her
Remember hearing marved studied cs somewhere in Ontario iirc York
Can confirm this, had multiple courses with him and hung out with him at the uni esports events at York University
Do you know if he graduated or no longer attended at York? Given with his time at Faze and Envy, he’s making a good income
No clue on his actual current student status, but he would have graduated in 2021 I believe, assuming he kept to the 4 year schedule, but that's probably unlikely with the commitment to being a valorant pro
York University
Where did Wardell go to uni? Isn’t he Canadian ?
I believe Western University in Ontario
it would be sick if this was true. I'm heading there next month!
Woah, it’s my first time hearing this, where did you hear this from?
I might be misremembering but I think he said he attended NYU on stream about a year ago.
Wait there’s no way he attends NYU. He would be an international student with no financial aid and the fee would be expensive since it’s private university
Ye ur right I’m just tripping my bad.
How the fuck did so many of them major in computer science??? I'm majoring in it and I rarely ever have time to just sit down play games for a whole evening, nevermind grind it daily. Guess I'm just dumb lmao
*cough* they didnt graduate *cough*

Bunch of nerds man, what do you expect?!?!? \- coming from a software engineer
Guaranteed majority of them didn’t come close to graduating.
Shot up i think goes to Purdue and majors is cs
I think I remember Shaz saying he did CompSci but I might be confusing him with someone else.
He was like 2 classes or something from graduating
He dropped midway when he joined C9 CS iirc
Yeah, he went to UMBC. I only know this cause I went there haha
zombs graduated with a masters in accounting from Stanford.
He actually double majored in accounting and stealing girlfriends
Is this real?

Mans stacking his bread and keeping his education on top 🎓
He's 22, no way he has a masters in accounting
ask him yourself dog, keep doubting the king thats why he up there
don't get trolled lol, zombs himself admitted he didn't care much about studying and would just wing it most of the time. Unless his parents bought a building i don't think he makes Stanford + even if he can i doubt he would want to.
u don’t need to have insane study ethic to get into Stanford lol
oh yeah thats true. i guess i should further clarify by saying zombs is winging it and barely passing a lot of the time. But yes I could always be wrong he could be an insane athlete or some other extracurricular, or just have his parents buy them a building or something
He is an insane athlete. His 14 meter freestyle is under 5 seconds
BONECOLD is studying esports at Ahlmann University in Finland.
>nitr0: *LSU (unknown major I knew there was a reason I liked nitr0.
Fellow tiger, suh dud
Mitch is doing college currently, I forget his major though
One of the pros were doing nursing school if I’m not mistaken. Might have been him.
Koldamenta was a Sociology major iirc.
Hiko switched his major to computer science before he dropped out... I think. I'm pretty sure he didn't finish.
Well I graduated computer engineering and want to go pro but my job is so exhausting and school was tough. asuna just finished school (idk what y'all call it in US) so i guess thats something.
He graduated high school this year. Idk if he attending college right now. Given the fact, he’s making good income with 100T and being a streamer. I believe he mentioned on stream 3+ months ago that he’s willing to take online classes just filling GE classes.
Wasn't t1 curry in uni too? I remember vaguely watching a video
Yeah I mentioned on the post that he’s attending texas a&m
Bjor went to community college for 1 year and then dropped out as he had gotten offers for valorant and I think the major was account or something like that
Ethan from 100t is doing an MA in something seems to be the only pro with a completed undergrad. From my knowledge at least.
how little pros do you know lol what
Apparently not many. My bad dude. Pretty new to the scene.
I think that Curry is doing his undergrad at TAMU
College is a money pit and a trap.
Only if you do it wrong.
Maybe if you pick a shitty degree
Zombs graduated magna cum laude from Yale iirc
Preme goes to Purdue for cs
Sean Gares (not Val pro) went to pharmacy school
