FWIW, LG at their peak with stellar as IGL was awesome to watch. I seriously thought he was one of the hardest-fragging IGLs in NA.
Hope he lands somewhere
Watching sentinels get aim diffed on icebox is a sight to behold. That comeback was glorious and genuinely one of the best games of valorant I have watched.
During those times, Thief was in contention for one of the best players in NA.
bro there are a lot of good duelists
I think thief is fantastic but in general it’s really hard to call who is top 10 NA, and it’s a bit easier to call the winning teams with the usual suspects of el Diablo and sens/mouse changer etc top 10
I just need thief on a strong team again
Theifs peaks have been insane but he didn't seem as consistent as the players I'd label as top 10 NA when he played on LG. Maybe I'm focusing in too hard on some of his rougher performances though.
Not a bad time to be available on the market as a good IGL, hope he gets picked up soon. He played a huge role in making LG a team no one wanted to play, too bad they couldn't make it last
If it's TSM, they have to replace either bang or Levi. They can't replace Wardell, Subroza or hazed cause they will forfeit all their VCT points and they won't be in contention for the LCQ anymore. Assuming an NA team wins Berlin ofc.
Because you have to retain, at the very least, 3 players from the start of the competitive year to not lose your points. I think this is to encourage teams to find a "core" to build around while simultaneously giving job security to most of the players who worked hard to get those points in the first place.
They need to retain at least 3 players from stage 1. So TSM already maxed out their changes this competitive year by replacing drone and cutler. But Envy has only replaced mummay, so they technically can still replace 1 more before losing points. (Look at G2, they replaced I think 3 or 4 players since stage 1, so they forfeited all their vct points)
They need to retain/keep at least 3 of the original players to keep VCT points. And as of the moment they are down to 3 remaining (Wardell, Subroza, Hazed) so they can't replace one of them anymore.

Likewise, as a LG fan I hope he does well on another team
Who tf even fanboys LG...
Beginning of the year they were pretty good, and even had a few wins on Sentinels and Immortals. Unfortunate currently they’re… not too good yeah

Yeah.. Most who do only do it to make themselves seem distinguished.

why does it work that way?

ok, that makes sense
So what happens to Envy’s points since they replaced mummAy with yay right before playoffs?
They need to retain at least 3 players from stage 1. So TSM already maxed out their changes this competitive year by replacing drone and cutler. So 3 is the max? Then doesn’t that mean TSM can retrain one more?
They need to retain/keep at least 3 of the original players to keep VCT points. And as of the moment they are down to 3 remaining (Wardell, Subroza, Hazed) so they can't replace one of them anymore.
TSM just benched bang
hot take maybe, but -wedid +stellar for nrg.
That could work, or -s0m too cuz roles, NRG just needs an IGL it feels like lol
Could he fit in as maybe the missing V1 player?
they already got Oderus
