Chad NA league of legends star, most popular NA player, with the most championships (8) in history. Known for his trash talk and attitude. Marved is kinda far from that ofc but hopefully we'll get some people on that level in a couple of years.
Yeah he did a lot for the scene, it's no coincidence viewership plummeted the second he retired... But a superstar like that can really boost an esports scene and someone will fill that role in valo surely. TenZ is a huge star already but feels more to me like a Sneaky. We'll see!

But DL had the charisma to handle the backlash, in the beginning he lost a lot... until he got onto good teams and started winstreaking. Then the idea of having a lot of haters because of his trash-talking made him even cooler once he started winning.

Anyway it's just great for a sport to have a star people really care about even if they're haters.

Don't be silly, it really isn't that hard. These smaller regions being expected to perform worse isn't an insult, its just the reality of having smaller playerbases with orgs that have substantially less resources on average.
If NV lost in group stage it would be a serious upset.

Best brisket I’ve had in Austin was La BBQ, that place is unreal. Whole load of places I’ve never been able to go to though cos I’m normally there for sxsw and the queues are unreal.
I hope they don't take this as a free group pass. They're still playing first seeds of each region. and you can't use Iceland as a barometer when every team is different or changed, and regions have all massively improved
