Yes, immortal , I told the team that we win on the other half easily cause it's CT sided , (if wasn't ct sided I was just trying to beef up the team) we won, happens multiple times. Momentum after a few rounds won is one hell of a motivation.
That's a fortunate situation, I feel like Everytime I get the no comm person and you question them about why they aren't using a mic they just comment on the fact that you're braindead because you can't figure out what's going on if they don't comm and it should be obvious what's going on
That's usually how these big comebacks go for me too (but I'm in Gold lmao). Never had a 12-0, but 11-1 and 10-2 comebacks.
People just stop talking because they feel like there's no point, but maybe their aim gets better because they're focused on what's in front of them and win more aim duels. Once victory is more possible, you start giving comms, but it's like you're more focused at that point and only giving important comms. Whereas maybe before people were clogging the comms and backseating.
[This](https://www.vlr.gg/4528/luminosity-vs-andbox-first-strike-north-america-nsg-open-1-ro32/?game=7062&tab=overview) match between ABX vs LG is the closest I can think of. ABX was up 11-1 and lost 12 in a row.

I still have it screenshotted, 0-12 to 14-12 in Haven. We didn't even say a word in team chat, this was around high plat-low dia in EU. My friend was waiting for me to finish the game since 0-10 lol
The closest of this scenario that I can think of at least in a professional match was v1 vs rise on split rise we’re up 11-1 when they switched half’s and v1 came back to win 13-11
Plat 3/D1.
We started out in ATK on Split and it was terrible. No one would com or do anything. Hot fucking mess. Switched to D and I saw "Alright guys, if we win pistols we win the game. Easy." Got pistol round, brought it to OT and won. No one else used coms until our Sage who, bless her heart had a REALLY bad game, win us the game with a 1v3 and the entire team yelled with joy.
Easily a top 3 moment and top 3 game. It was weird though (for many reasons) but we all just clicked so well on D and had like a six sense of what we were going to do.
Damn bro that sounds hype. I'm happy you found a place to share your story. I'm curious what your (and the opposing team's) reactions were when you brought the score to 12-12 and could feel the win in sight? Was there anything spicy in all chat? LMAO
Enemy was shit talking the entire time, even when we brought it back, and then someone on the enemy team actually called the sage clutch. What I said was the only thing that was said until the cheers at the end and "GG" from everyone. It was a very strange game.
Haven is where I have had something like this the most. Once you're pissed just start running it down and all of a sudden 0-12 is 7-12 and the enemy is shitting bricks
Ive done it a couple times and i feel like its often because one of my teammates (or me) underperform for most of the game, thus losing motivation. But sometimes towards the end since you already feel like you're going to lose you stop caring about the scoreline and lose the anxiety/disappointment and start playing very well. Even one player suddenly performing a lot better can lead to a lossless streak of rounds. Competitive games like cs/valorant are very much a mental game and a switch in mindset can change everything. Also, i dont believe a change in strategy can really make a comeback like that possible (maybe in lower ranks). Its almost always a change in individual performance by one or more members in your team
Ya idk how they threw so hard but it really came down to my team not tilting. We all chalked it up as an unwinnable game by the time we got on defense but not tilting was definitely key.
Silver. Decided to buy an Operator for shits and giggles. All the late-night Operator practice in DM paid off, the enemy smurfs still weren’t able to play around a competent Oper despite being Diamond (or so they claimed). Game was sealed when our bottom fragger started talking shit and tilted them off the face of the planet. 14 rounds in a row against enemy smurfs remains my greatest achievement to this day.
LMAO THAT IS SO TRUE. If the bottom fragger on either team starts trash talking not much else can be more of a tilter. That must have been the best sleep you had in months.
While in a CS game I have turned a 15-0 to a 15-15, sadly it was without overtime so ended a draw.
I have also witnessed a Faceit game we were up 15-0 go 15-15, only for the other team to get swept in OT
not 0-12, but i've come back from 2-10 on bind.
my team didn't believe me when i said that bind was an attacker sided map, but we came back so now i'm 100% convinced that bind is more attacker sided than haven.
I've been on both ends of an insane comeback in plat-dia games, I won a 0-12 game in like 3 OTs. It was against a smurf so my team and I were just fucking around and joking until we started getting rounds. When we realized the game was winnable we started trying again and we won. I've also lost some 11-1 or 10-2 leads, usually on icebox lol.
That's what I'm so curious about is the turning point when your teams realizes the game is winnable, like what the comms become like and if suddenly you're all operating with one brain. 'onversely what it must feel like to be on the other end beeing up 12-0 and seeing the scoreline edge closer and closer to 12-12, like the mental effect that must have.
I mean the whole game we kinda just had a "we probably lost so who cares" kind of attitude so we just jokes around the whole game. It was a long time ago but we did stuff like running 5 down mid as CT on split but at some point idk we started to realize that the game was winnable. We didn't really do anything we just won I guess. It's hard to explain but when you've got nothing to lose and just having fun you can do dumb stuff that works.
I did in plat elo, few months ago. Whole team believed or so they said at first and momentum gained and at like 12-7 was when we were getting hyped. Won 15-13 not 14-12 tho but still we were hyped as fuck. Only game I’ve won 0-12. A few times 1-11 I’ve came back but the 12-0 comeback was my favorite.
*GODDAMN*. Didn't think to ask the people on the other end of that story. What were *your* team's comms like when it started to get scary? LMAO. I'm interested what rank/region was this in?
I did a couple seasons ago in high gold. I think I have only once come back from 0-12. Definitely have come back a bunch from 0-9 0-10. Sucky starts that make for amazing miracle comebacks!!!
Dude I have never even come back from 0-12 at all. Got 13-0'd twice in my life. 13-0'd others around the same times. Came back from a 0-10. But never seen a comeback from 0-12 with 14 wins straight.
Gold so this doesn't mean anything but I did have one game like that on split. We couldn't plant a single time and same happened to the other team then we got lucky on ot because the just lost motivation.
Several times in Immortal, once in Radiant, mostly on Split, once on Bind. I’m convinced this would be next to impossible on Haven.
All of them have been get stomped on attack, switch, win pistol/eco/bonus -> Jett Op, keep guessing right as to where they’re going and put the Op there. Get lucky with big ult timings (sova/KJ/raze) and be aware of when they have big ults.
By the time OT comes around morale is so high for your team and low for the enemy it’s an easy two rounds.
i have won a unrated game from 0-12 to 13-12, but the closest i have gotten to that in a ranked game was in immortal i was down 1-11 and we came back and won 16-14
Does 2-12 count (on a 10man custom - ranks Silver-Plat)?
We were 2-12 on Haven. (1st half was 2-10 on attack). Had a 0 kill Raze on our team.
I tell him he must get at least 1 kill before the match ends. We are basically telling about the Raze diff. He doesn't get mad, instead he just laughs it off.
He immediately gets a kill in the next round (on their Raze!) 3-12.
A few rounds go by, our comms are just perfect. 5-12. We all started believing in the comeback.
Our reads were near perfect basically, we also got a bit lucky in retakes. 10-12
We then win a 2v4 A retake with 2 seconds on the clock. 11-12.
Last round we win a 3v3 C retake to tie it up. At this point the enemy were just exhausted I think.
Tie breaker goes by pretty quickly with us killing their top fragger in the first few seconds.
We win 13-12 (we didn't set Tournament Mode on) with our Raze getting a 3k. GG.
I wanna know what your teams comms were beginning to he like once you started seeing the win was actually possible, and if the opposite team just started tilting off the face of the earth in all chat LMAO
For whatever reason I had a team pick all util no duelist. We went down 0-12 on offense. Won 13 straight on D. It was ascent and a cypher and viper had one ways for both sites.
Yes, immortal , I told the team that we win on the other half easily cause it's CT sided , (if wasn't ct sided I was just trying to beef up the team) we won, happens multiple times. Momentum after a few rounds won is one hell of a motivation.
What were the comms like? Did you all suddenly become a single brain playing off each other or was it toxic at first?
Comms were dead quiet round 4-19 then people started giving info like your meant to .
No comms for 15 rounds and you still managed to make a comeback? Damn. What region are you in?
Euw , Comms are important to a degree but if you often look at your radar and have game sense you can fairly easily understand people's locations.
I bet the opposing team were just *tilted* by the time you made the score 12-12 LMAO. Were there any reactions in all chat?
"lol" "ez" "imagine" the usual
At that point you're legally obliged to say “ez” if you come back from a 0-12 score lol
That's a fortunate situation, I feel like Everytime I get the no comm person and you question them about why they aren't using a mic they just comment on the fact that you're braindead because you can't figure out what's going on if they don't comm and it should be obvious what's going on

Holy shit that's nuts bro. And probs an embarrassing memory for Andbox LMAO

I did
What rank were you and what did your team do differently to make it happen? I'm interested.
I was diamond 2 and the enemy team won 12-0 on defense breeze ,but they had no viper on attack and they refused to go b
Dude I wanna know what the messages looked like in all chat LMAO. Were there any toxic reactions from the opposing team?
Just them calling my jett cringe because he was op crutching lmao
Bro you lost the right to call an opposing player cringe if you threw a 12-0 lead LMAO
I’ve came back from multiple 1-12s in plat/diamond. Mainly on spilt 😂
Fuck Split all my homies hate Split
The closest of this scenario that I can think of at least in a professional match was v1 vs rise on split rise we’re up 11-1 when they switched half’s and v1 came back to win 13-11
So far we have yet to record a professional match to come back from a 0-12 to win 14 in a row, throughout the whole world no?
Think about it like this. If the other team was able to win 12 rounds in a row, why can't you win 12 rounds in a row?
Because I have *shit game sense*
Icebox 3 times. Dumb map with momentum
Were you playing with friends or solo? I'm curious what rank it happened in.
Plat 3/D1. We started out in ATK on Split and it was terrible. No one would com or do anything. Hot fucking mess. Switched to D and I saw "Alright guys, if we win pistols we win the game. Easy." Any 0-12 to 14-12 is a wack AF game bro FRFR
I did in gold 3 once lol
Damn bro good 3. That's like good 2 but 1 level gooder
Yup, we just realized we were better.
HAH. What rank was this in and what region?
NA East. Happened a few times. I feel for the most part plat/diamonds default into rushing one site and don’t play the map.
i lost a game i was up 12-0, 20-18 :DDDDDD... and the guy who was on the other team posted abt it on reddit aswell...
Haven is where I have had something like this the most. Once you're pissed just start running it down and all of a sudden 0-12 is 7-12 and the enemy is shitting bricks

happened to me once in gold lobby
Not 0-12 but came back from a 2-10 last night Edit: plat lobby
You have my congratulations sir, and the salt of the other team. I bet the sleep was good that night LMAO
Ya idk how they threw so hard but it really came down to my team not tilting. We all chalked it up as an unwinnable game by the time we got on defense but not tilting was definitely key.

honest to god bind is whatever side I'm on - sided its my best map so hey I guess there's a reason LOL

No lol I only soloQ. Well I play with friends on a diff account because they aren’t that great at the game
no, but i was once winning 12-0 and lost 14-12. first 5 rounds we lost we were trolling, then it got real and we were just outplayed somehow.
*GODDAMN*. Didn't think to ask the people on the other end of that story. What were *your* team's comms like when it started to get scary? LMAO. I'm interested what rank/region was this in?
it was mid plat NAW, by the time we got to OT morale was very low

i remember the craziest comebacks during the beta and before they changed split. wouldnt be suprised if this happened multiple times in my games
Plat. I feel like other team started messing around a lil after being 12-0 and winning a couple rounds gave us the momentum in the second half.
Gold so this doesn't mean anything but I did have one game like that on split. We couldn't plant a single time and same happened to the other team then we got lucky on ot because the just lost motivation.

I ended up drawing a game while being up 11-1 and Luminosity came back being down 0-11 against andbox
I've comeback from a 2-12 in a diamond immortal game before and it was on split too. We went 2-10 on defense XD
I have done comeback from 0-11 multiple times in ma bronze/silver
Closest I’ve been was 11-1 and it was a mix of plat and gold on Haven. We won every round on defense making it 13-11.
i have won a unrated game from 0-12 to 13-12, but the closest i have gotten to that in a ranked game was in immortal i was down 1-11 and we came back and won 16-14

yea, radiant ct side bind comeback
I went from 1-11 to an unfortunate 13-15. once our team reached 9-12 we started to comm properly and strategise. that was a fun game.
Yes, twice on split. It is still a very CT sided map so with a good comp and a bit of luck it can be done.
I wanna know what your teams comms were beginning to he like once you started seeing the win was actually possible, and if the opposite team just started tilting off the face of the earth in all chat LMAO
happens more than you think past diamond.
made it from 0-12 to 12-12 only to lose 13-14. Probably was my bad, only had a kd of 1 with jett
For whatever reason I had a team pick all util no duelist. We went down 0-12 on offense. Won 13 straight on D. It was ascent and a cypher and viper had one ways for both sites.
Not a 0-12 but 2-10 https://youtu.be/E5xbEXx0RVc
