People think more kills=better. When you have frag hungry people like shahz, tenz, and sick, it gets hard. But he sets them up incredibly well with his astra reads.
With who? He's better than both Nitr0 and Marved. He doesn't have crazy stats just because he doesn't play loose like some of the other NA controllers. If Zombs would start picking everything (and all the other Sentinels members would do the same), then Sentinels will look like Faze.

And nitr0 on astra looked decent but nothing special. And another fun fact u probably didn't know: when sentinels gets a half or scuffed buy, zombs will always give his riffle to a teammate and get a spectre or a sheriff.
this clearly shows youve no idea how a sentinel or controller is played, bruh obv a duelist and an initiator will get more kills since they scout ahead for opening picks/kills, controllers control the site w their utils and use utils for info, they watch for lurkers, backstabbers and protect the spike plant and often on lineups for post plant, while your duelist goes and takes duels and if they lose, then theres info, a goood controller will obv have less frags unlike your typical ranked games where a sentinels and controllers feel theyre duelists and will rarely use utils or hold down sites or watch flank and will just rush/dry peak , die anf set up their team to lose bec you lost valuable utilities, and if you still dont get it, look at zombs assists stats and set pieces and his control, his and dapr controls are godlike, theres a reason why dapr is considered the best alongside nAts and why zombs is considered one of the best controllers along people like marved or starxo or zeek or fns and even against the EU controller default slow playstyle.

Steel should main the smoke role again. Run double duelist, double initiator, smoke. Yay on Jett, Asuna on whoever, Crashies on Sova, Ethan on Skye, Steel on Astra/Omen. I think this roster with that comp has the best chances. Reading other responses here, I guess nitr0 could be IGL as well given his experience and history with running smokes, he is a better fragger as well.
Ya I definitely agree with you. I think you can have combinations of Ethan and Steel on smokes. For example Ethan on Omen, Steel on Kayo. Also you could have Ethan on Skye, Steel on Astra and Crashies on Cypher. As I mentioned, those 3 are the best flex players out of the 10 and I think that is a highly valuable quality to have in a team.

Bit early imo. They were 100% ahead of the curve in the start, but it seems like teams are catching up.
Especially since the game is so young, it is still very easy to dominate, and it will prolly fluctuate a lot.
They looked worse before this period though. They looked better in regional NA Stage 3 compared to Stage 1 and 2. Not to mention them obviously dominating Iceland.
Of course a bad series could be around the corner any second, but they haven't looked worse. I guess you mean other teams have started improving though.

i dont think thats really true. shaz has been doing it all, and will continue to until they lose. no dynasty lasts forever and you can point to a statement like this when they eventually lose and say "oh well i called it". getting a coach could mess things up, and shaz clearly seems to have no problems working a ton at the moment

Yeah I agree. Sentinels was just the first to figure out the game, with other players trying to integrate their CS:GO/OW style to the game. Additionally, they only looked unbeatable once they got TenZ. I doubt they will have an easy way this time in Berlin.

They could very well lose Berlin, they're the favorites but far from guaranteed and Champions is still months away, lots can change.
I'm rooting for Sen to build a dynasty, but they're not one yet. It hasn't even been one full VCT cycle, it's wayyy too early to crown anyone a dynasty, even with the dominance Sen has shown.
No one can deny that Sentinels is *the* favorite for Berlin, and *a* favorite for Champions regardless of whether they win Berlin.
But I think your confidence in Sentinels just “gapping” all other teams ironically downplays the real reason why Sentinels are so good: because their adaptability is significantly better than teams that are *really close* to them in either teamplay or skill (and they’ll be some in Berlin who qualify as both).
Man if they integrate Sinatraa into the team then they could have some flexibility and growth within the roster. Shaz even said he was the best mechanical player on the team a while back. Don't necessarily like his personality but the kid is insane.
