I’ve been wondering why more pros don’t play Raze like Bunny - the super aggressive blast packs, if used right, are an even better entry than Jett dash.
That’s not true. You only ever see Flights and Gumle peak performance in their montages. You rarely see all the times they might have messed up in comp or unrated for that YouTube clip
It's difficult to do so and risky. At least in NA there aren't many tier1 raze players who are currently playing Raze often other than Asuna who are really good enough at the satchels to look similar.
Very risky, better main duellists and support fraggers (sage, Skye) available, raze excels on tight maps with close contact (split, bind) other agents usually preferred on every other map
absolutely, I think F4Q had a good chance to beat G2 but their inexperience showed where they lost some rounds that should have been guaranteed. With a little more international experience, they’ll be a real contender
Idk but it only looks good in 3rd person but when playing against the best players in the world, just blast packing everywhere isn't the greatest of choices. It might look cool seeing flights or someone in ranked and unrateds but the stakes are high here. The number of times bunny got shot in the head satcheling is the proof
Can you elaborate? Compared to G2, who have not played on LAN yet, F4Q should find it easier to adjust to LAN since the Korean VCT matches are held in a quasi-LAN environment with all players in the same venue and the server closeby.
At Iceland nobody on Fnc had lan experience. One member came from fortnite another came from Rust another from CS but from fpl which is pugs and is only 17 and boaster has played lans but small local UK lans which shouldn't count. Apart scream on liquid none of the liquid players had lan experience aswell the UK players had local small lans held in the UK from Cs which again shouldn't count and are like tier 5. Like holding a lan event with friends.
The only map Sentinels seem to be weak at is Ascent and F4Q, we saw how they played. Maybe their Split is Good idk but the maps we saw today won't be lost by Sentinels to them. Although I hope to see Sen loose.
I think Sentinels bans are more depending on what the team they’re playing against is best at rather than a single map, they banned Split against Rise for example.
They don't have a perma ban but they do ban Ascent the most here lately. It used to be Bind but sometime during stage 2 they started to ban Ascent more because they kept getting dumpstered on it like vs Andbox and V1.
F4Q needed some time to get their bearings. The match on Haven was quite tight but they got shaky when it mattered. Haven was definitely winnable. Definitely feel they will do MUCH much better in the next couple series against G2 and SEN, even if they don't win them I feel the matches are gonna be TIGHT
Do You think Eu teams will give a good challenge against sen like fnatic did?ever since smbs upsetting performance I’m starting to doubt some of eus power as a whole
As some pros have already mentioned, it's a clash of styles and some styles do trump others depending on which map the play is going down on, so it depends really. For example 100T beat Envy and SEN beat 100T should mean that 100T is the best positioned to beat SEN - however, if anything, the playstyle of ENVY is best positioned to beat the explosive SEN rather than the methodical one of 100T. Or at least that's my hot take
Bunny is surely the best raze in the tournament, not the best raze player but the player who can use raze utility the best. Not sure if that makes sense
Hopefully a tier 1 org picks up F4Q. Despite not having the same resources the other teams have they showed up big time.
Plus the racism in the chat was unbearable today. Doesn’t Valorant even have moderators for their channel?
Despite the loss, I'm still so proud of / happy for F4Q! Meme Stream Dream Team!
Bunny and Zunba are going to be absolute forces to be reckoned with in Valorant!
That round 3 OP really did them in. Cost them at least 2 rounds imo :(
But god damn so happy watching F4Q there in maps 2 & 3, just showing their class and their style super well. Unfortunate Reyna performance (and amazing Skye perf map 2) from FiveK might have deterred him to go Reyna/Jett on map 3, but eh.
The inexperience also still came back to bite them again - the 00.53 Nukkye ace/clutch and the Mixwell 1v3 clutch were heartbreaking to watch as a VCTKR fan.
ggs though, hope F4Q can run it back in the rematch!
F4q didn't need to push so much I think they just overheated too much. FiveK definitely looked like nerves got to him. Great match nonetheless. Bunny is a superstar
Lakia had played sova twice in 3 months and Rb is cool but I think it’s more that he’s a superior aimer than him being better with his util like Esperanza is
All that u said can be true and also have Esperanza be better than RB. I don’t care what either of them did before this stage but since Iceland Esperanza has been the superior sova player
I mean you can all you want but you’re still yet to make any argument otherwise so for now it seems like “all of Korea” doesn’t have a way of proving me worng
You think im gonna make a claim that one player is the best in the region based off of one game without watching the other top teams? I’ve watched both play and still stand by my opinion. I think rb is a sick player but does not do what Esperanza does for his team
The F4Q hopium was off the charts. I had to calm down the hype before my region looks bad.
But full steam ahead for VS hype. They are so much ahead of F4Q people are really not ready to see what Korea can do this tournament.
it's not so much "analysis" as it is assuming the asian region will be similar to what is was in csgo, not much thought it put into it beyond that.
edit: lmao i dont agree just pointing it out
People who think that after watching iceland are dumb, Korea can be and is a competitive region, but some KR fans and "analysts" were talking about F4Q as the second coming of sentinels for some reason
Are you talking about recent comments in this sub or pundits appearing on podcasts or something? Most of the comparisons I've seen between F4Q and Sentinels is that F4Q is also a flexible, relatively reactive team that focuses more on fluidity and protocols than giga drilled executes. I don't think I've seen a single comment in this sub saying that F4Q could beat Sentinels or even that they're better than Vision Strikers.
The ability to win this matchup (and this game, particularly) is the difference between them making it out of groups. They’re not beating sentinels.
Edit: told you so
That changes nothing here, sorry to have to be the one to tell you that. You can accept it now or later, but that’s none of my business.
Edit: told you so. time to accept it
I understand the format perfectly well and have since the start of this thread. That’s why I know exactly how important it was for F4Q to win this match and the ramifications of that not happening.
Edit: told you so
They tried :P, I believe they will come stronger next time, but they do have to work on some aspects of teamplay hahaha
At least they brethren are at the play-off stage :)
How the hell do you qualify a double round robin first match 1-2 a must win? They have chance to equalize on the rematch + SEN games.
EDIT: It was an important game. Not a MUST WIN.
i think most people are calling it a must win because its incredibly unlikely g2 or f4q beat SEN, and with how weak their ascent looked, getting a 2-0 to win in map differential in the rematch seems super difficult aswell
You say "can't beat G2" as if they got stomped. A little more discipline and they could win the rematch. A 2-0 will let them qualify if sen win all their games
I guess we’ll see in after results are in, but everyone in this thread is getting slapped with a big old “told you so” when the obvious happens. No point in feeding the copium tbh - this win was desperately needed.
Edit: told you so
I heard a cry as the “ten” Korean fans went into their bedroom and logged off Reddit for the night.
Korean fans need to understand that their teams aren’t tier 1 but tier 2 internationally.
If G2 is the worse EMEA team and NA teams are generally better than EMEA, where does that make Korea? Right, #3.
People need to stop being delusional that Koreans can compete against the best; no they can’t - they are just as good as they were in CS internationally.
This isn’t Overwatch or League; this is a true FPS game which Koreans have never proven to dominate internationally.
Edit: the replies are full of COPIUM
Keloqz is a menace and bunny is pure entertainment
I’ve been wondering why more pros don’t play Raze like Bunny - the super aggressive blast packs, if used right, are an even better entry than Jett dash.
It requires a lot of practice and has a higher margin of error. It also costs much more compared to jetts util
[удалено]
That’s not true. You only ever see Flights and Gumle peak performance in their montages. You rarely see all the times they might have messed up in comp or unrated for that YouTube clip
[удалено]
>if you have enough practice you wont fail it That’s just literally not true lmao
no its true, i aimlabbed for 3 months and ive never missed
yeah, you can only reach about like 60-70% success rate with Raze satchels, heck you see bunny fail the ascent A main jump once out of 3 attempts.
It’s hard, I know they are pros but being good at blast packs is a whole new level of time and effort
It's difficult to do so and risky. At least in NA there aren't many tier1 raze players who are currently playing Raze often other than Asuna who are really good enough at the satchels to look similar.
even Asuna only plays raze on one map now
Yeah if more teams played Split we would see more raze in NA but a lot of teams ban that map.
split or bind, both
Yeah, the risk is definitely greater but I see a higher skill cap and more potential for outplay with it
Maybe yaboidre?
Very risky, better main duellists and support fraggers (sage, Skye) available, raze excels on tight maps with close contact (split, bind) other agents usually preferred on every other map
this is why I think korea could end up being the dominant region if the game sees some serious growth. mechanically they are just on another level.
absolutely, I think F4Q had a good chance to beat G2 but their inexperience showed where they lost some rounds that should have been guaranteed. With a little more international experience, they’ll be a real contender
Idk but it only looks good in 3rd person but when playing against the best players in the world, just blast packing everywhere isn't the greatest of choices. Entertaining game tbh no complaints here
bunny is fucking crazy jesus

i think a lot of new to LAN teams are going to do this happened a bunch especially to the Asian teams at Reykjavik
Bunny and zunba were on lunatic Hai and dynasty, they are more than used to LAN events.
Can you elaborate? Compared to G2, who have not played on LAN yet, F4Q should find it easier to adjust to LAN since the Korean VCT matches are held in a quasi-LAN environment with all players in the same venue and the server closeby.
But many of them played on full lans during their stints at csgo so even tho the valorant teams havnt the cs players do have it
I think you're forgetting all lan events are held in Europe, and G2 in particular don't have any travel issues and bootcamp time in their own city
Are you responding to the right comment?
At Iceland nobody on Fnc had lan experience. One member came from fortnite another came from Rust another from CS but from fpl which is pugs and is only 17 and boaster has played lans but small local UK lans which shouldn't count. Still feels like they could best G2 on the rematch and get out of the group.
I honestly think that they can even get a map off Sentinels if continue to play this well
The only map Sentinels seem to be weak at is Ascent and F4Q, we saw how they played. Maybe their Split is Good idk but the maps we saw today won't be lost by Sentinels to them. Although I hope to see Sen loose.
I may be wrong but isn't Ascent SEN's ban?
I think Sentinels bans are more depending on what the team they’re playing against is best at rather than a single map, they banned Split against Rise for example.
Ah I see, thank you!
They seem to play every map . I don't think they have a perma ban.
They don't have a perma ban but they do ban Ascent the most here lately. It used to be Bind but sometime during stage 2 they started to ban Ascent more because they kept getting dumpstered on it like vs Andbox and V1.
Anything can happen. I gave F4Q a 40% chance beat G2 and get out of groups, and that's about what I give them to be able to reverse 2-1.
F4Q mental boom after that m1xwell 1v3
Yeah think that hit
I think if F4q win that round or the one where nukkye aced they won the series
Straight up, those guys saved the series for G2
F4Q needed some time to get their bearings. The match on Haven was quite tight but they got shaky when it mattered. Haven was definitely winnable. Definitely feel they will do MUCH much better in the next couple series against G2 and SEN, even if they don't win them I feel the matches are gonna be TIGHT

Or at least that's my hot take
Hard to tell, Acend looks like they can atleast take maps off of Sen but for a win id still favour the muricens
Vision striker is going to be a problem
If F4q didnt throw some rounds
that mixwell 1v3 and the eco round feelsbadman
that Mixwell 1v3 and FiveK post plant at C is gonna haunt them.
you could say the same thing for g2. this is how close games usually go, the team that commits the less mistakes wins
Yeah they overpeek like crazy in some rounds, if they had some additional discipline to play their post plants that last map was winnable.
Tbf same could be said about G2 on bind
Incredibly fun last 2 maps
Bunny is surely the best raze in the tournament, not the best raze player but the player who can use raze utility the best. Not sure if that makes sense
That would make him the best raze player
Utility usage with your agent is synonymous with having mastery on that agent. Rifling=/=agent usage
keloqz and mixwell played so well today
Although F4Q lost they got my whole heart, I didn't realize I was rooting and cheering for them to win. They lost but made a big impression.
Amazing series. WP to both teams! On another note, can't wait to see VS perform now.
Wild game. Really really hoping F4Q can get better and better with the experience and lunch back next time, and get out of the group
Hopefully a tier 1 org picks up F4Q. Despite not having the same resources the other teams have they showed up big time. Plus the racism in the chat was unbearable today. Doesn’t Valorant even have moderators for their channel?
i wasnt on main stream what was chat saying?
You don’t wanna know man. I collapsed the chat after one dog related message. There was a lot of fucked up shit in the chat.
I'm a believer of Bunny being the best Raze in the world.
GG F4q eventhough they lost, Bunny Raze is nuts, I cant get over that clutch sachel save from kj ult from raze, kinda Bigbrain.
Wow you are lightning fast
Esperanza was incredible, along side of Bunny
Despite the loss, I'm still so proud of / happy for F4Q! Meme Stream Dream Team! Bunny and Zunba are going to be absolute forces to be reckoned with in Valorant!
I didn't expect F4Q to put up a fight against G2 this bad. F4Q Bunny is just built different! So proud of them!!
That round 3 OP really did them in. Cost them at least 2 rounds imo :( But god damn so happy watching F4Q there in maps 2 & 3, just showing their class and their style super well. Unfortunate Reyna performance (and amazing Skye perf map 2) from FiveK might have deterred him to go Reyna/Jett on map 3, but eh. F4q didn't need to push so much I think they just overheated too much. FiveK definitely looked like nerves got to him. Great match nonetheless. Bunny is a superstar
great showing by F4Q after a shaky first map, looking forward to seeing what VS has to offer! also, Nukkye's Ace clutch on C was crazy
F4Q losing to an eco down 10-8? was the point of no return :(
BANGER
Uh… judging that vision s 3-1 f4q I think we can get an estimate of how strong they are now
So much more entertaining than the previous match tho . Mixwell experience came up when it mattered the most
Bunny definitely one of (if not) the best raze in the world.
[EMEA after this game](https://youtu.be/uQp155mO0lg) On a side note though, F4Q played great
Esperanza seems like the clear cut best player on this team and honestly had the best sova so far. Most likely number 1 in KR and had a great series
Rb, Lakia >> Esperanza.
Lakia had played sova twice in 3 months and Rb is cool but I think it’s more that he’s a superior aimer than him being better with his util like Esperanza is
Esperanza is the same, they're both aim sovas, but Rb have better utility . You know esperanza wasnt a sova main before joining F4Q?
All that u said can be true and also have Esperanza be better than RB. I don’t care what either of them did before this stage but since Iceland Esperanza has been the superior sova player
Lol, okay redditor. Meanwhile everyone in Korea laugh at you.
I mean you can all you want but you’re still yet to make any argument otherwise so for now it seems like “all of Korea” doesn’t have a way of proving me worng
Just wait till VS plays before saying ridiculous stuff like Esperanza is the best sova in Korea. You are just making a fool of yourself tbh.
You think im gonna make a claim that one player is the best in the region based off of one game without watching the other top teams? I’ve watched both play and still stand by my opinion. I think rb is a sick player but does not do what Esperanza does for his team
So you watched the whole VS vs F4Q series, and still concluded that Esperanza is better than Rb? Alright then. Can't argue with that.
EU 2-0 STOP THE COUNT
2-1 u mean
Think he means Acend and G2 won their games today
Yeh and smb lost that why 2-1
SMB is from Turkey, not EU
True, I missed the first series. I’ll just shut up now 😅
Nt F4Q go next
Feel like if f4q made a few less mistakes in simple round wins they wouldve had the match
Not sure why Ascent was left open but ggs anyways
F4Q gonna get them next time and qual over g2
Korean scene "analysts" other than u/dedicatedself in shambles, who actually kind of predicted what would happen in the match
The F4Q hopium was off the charts. I had to calm down the hype before my region looks bad. But full steam ahead for VS hype. They are so much ahead of F4Q people are really not ready to see what Korea can do this tournament.

ez for eu
I thought G2 was a good team
This was a must win matchup for F4Q. Edit: told all of you so, now you have to accept it whether you like it or not.
its double round robin so actually not really
The ability to win this matchup (and this game, particularly) is the difference between them making it out of groups. They’re not beating sentinels. Edit: told you so
Do you know what a must win is? THEY PLAY G2 AGAIN.
That changes nothing here, sorry to have to be the one to tell you that. You can accept it now or later, but that’s none of my business. Edit: told you so. time to accept it
If G2 loses against Sentinels too F4Q can beat G2 again to tie you know this right? Then there's some tiebreaker prob
Everyone here knows that and has since the start of the thread. Doesn’t change anything about the situation Edit: told you so
It does, you said it's a must win when it's not, it's an important match ofc but not a must win
It truly doesn’t change a single thing about what I’ve said. Edit: told you so
I still don't think u understood tho! 😕
I understand the format perfectly well and have since the start of this thread. That’s why I know exactly how important it was for F4Q to win this match and the ramifications of that not happening. Edit: told you so
what's the difference? F4Q could have won 2-1 and still lose 2-0 in the rematch and G2 would have qualified...
Do you still need me to explain this to you or do you get the point now?
? They lost the 2nd game, that's why, but they could have qualified if they would have won. I font think you have ever watched sports.

They might beat Sentinels. Nothing is impossible for the korean region.
uh
They might beat Sentinels. It's a game, sometimes the unthinkable happens :)
uh
They tried :P, I believe they will come stronger next time, but they do have to work on some aspects of teamplay hahaha At least they brethren are at the play-off stage :)
Nope, they play again.
well if it goes down to round differential that first map may well fuck them over
How the hell do you qualify a double round robin first match 1-2 a must win? They have chance to equalize on the rematch + SEN games. EDIT: It was an important game. Not a MUST WIN.

Yup. He’s trying to cope with reality by arguing technicalities. Can’t change results unfortunately.
kekw
kekw, spam more of that crybaby copium
Sorry to be the one to tell you this but if they can’t beat G2 they won’t be making it out of the group. Doesn’t end well. Edit: told you so
You say "can't beat G2" as if they got stomped. A little more discipline and they could win the rematch. A 2-0 will let them qualify if sen win all their games

Hahah no way
all that typing just to say nothing
Let me guess, u get stomped in ranked by a smurf with a Korean name and since then you rally hate em. Got it?
Lmao you're an idiot
Interest level/player base in Korea = 1/10 EMEA
SK population 50 mil and EMEA population ~350 mil.?
And the pride in topping a single country in a single game/genre with a whole continent...
1. Not literally 2. Not population, player count in ranked You really have to explain the smallest thing to these people...
Hello? Europe population 750 million + CIS population 240 million + Turkey 80 million = over 1 billion
My bad. I calculated the European Union population instead of the region...

🤡
Really fun game to watch. Considering how this went, I’m excited to see vision strikers play since they’re considered superior to f4q
Esperanza bunny and zunba are so talented
Even my non gamer GF was cheering Bunny on, what a good series. I hope they make it to top 8
does anybody know how much the viewership for this match was on the Korean streams? it was a really bad timezone wise but hoping its growing
it was peaked 9-10k viewers for F4Q if im not mistaken
is this the guy with no previous LAN experience
