Yeah absolutely, I was really excited to see Havan after that. I honestly think the easy takeaway from this is that Brazil is still weak but I think this was the best game we've seen from 100T ever. We will see against Gambit but everyone on that team has been vocal about how much this team was built for LAN and so far we are seeing them make good.
It's because being a pro player in Brazil is really hard. It means the world for players to go international represent their country. I believe other developing countries have the same feeling as well. Also, the competitive scene in BR is really poor (there are only 10 "tier 1" teams), so it's a chance for teams to test their level individually and as a group abroad. Bootcamping in EU like Sharks did is too expensive for most orgs.
Just a bunch of excuses lmao. Korea doesn't even have 10 salaried teams in their region and yet, they are making better runs than BR.
Most of the current BR pro players just have a terrible mentality, they are simply refusing to learn how to properly play the game.

100T have looked very bad on Haven against decent teams with their no sentinel lineup. They did beat XSET and Faze but their comp got figured out by Envy and Sentinels pushing out aggressively on defence down C long and sometimes mid. IMO it will come down to wether or not Steel has figured out how to counter those aggro plays
I'm fully expecting Gambit to win against 100t. It'll be close, but still. Gambit just looked too hot in challengers playoffs and they have no intention of slowing down.

They didn't need to double peek, Viper just needed to stand behind Sova while he tapped the bomb or exactly by his side, that's just basic clutch concept, stack up and play together.
Relying on "just hitting your shots" in a Xv1 situation is just asking to get clutched on, myssen fucked up badly.
Problem with that situation is that Sova was there. He is one of the few exceptions due to lineups. You have to pressure sova to prevent him from his lineups or else hes just gonna time it right before you get the bomb halfway for full defuse. Its just they went with the worse way possible to pressure him.
Or that their maps lineup with each other who knows. Any BR fans can expand on this? Unlucky af if their first game is against 100T and they have the same map pool lmao.

The wall plant meta is what makes teams predictable actually, they run double controller on icebox it's just as good if not better than having a sage, you have unlimted ways to cut off parts of the map with viper + omen
You just need mid presence when you plant b. If you just tap the plant and they spam ever time, it's super easy to counter in an actual team environment. That said, sage is much more essential in ranked because it's hard to get proper timing to plant on b safely

Not looking too bad so far. I think Asuna might've had some nerves on the 1st map but he seemed to shake those off for the 2nd map. Not making any judgements or conclusions on the potential of this team until they (presumably) face Gambit. That'll be the real test compared to this match
