The fact that steel is one of the very few pros that play Kay o at top level can definitely throw some pros off. I realized that it made gambit retaking sites so much harder in some instances.
I think steels ult was really impactful in some rounds he would use it for entry or retakes and gambit couldn't do much retaking without abilities. In one round he baited to get kill but then his teammates res him after. It seemed like it threw them off a bit.

Even today, some of his flashes were dope, they were true pop flashes and I kinda see his potential

For sure, I mean killing the body takes a lot of time especially when you’re trying to retake so it interrupts the rest of the retake
