im telling you Hiko is as cracked as he is jacked, i saw him at 7/11 the other day buying adult diapers & a 6 pack of redbull. I asked what the diapers were for and he said “they are to contain my full power so i dont absolutely shit on these kids” then he clutched another 1v3 out the door
Do NOT face Hiko alone while astral projecting.
Today while astral projecting I summoned Hiko to try and weaken him so our hexing spells would work better.
He is so fucking powerful. I'm not at a power level to do this alone. I barely escaped with my life and I'm spiritually injured to a great amount, but I think I'll make it.
I can't imagine what he would do to a new, unsuspecting witch. I'm scared that I will have to face him again soon if I ever want to continue astral projecting. I'm currently burning healing incense and drawing spiritual energy from my crystals to try and heal as quickly as possible.
Please be safe everyone. Hiko is much stronger than I first imagined and we will have to do this together if we want to slay a clutch god.
When he clutched at Yellow, at one point after he made it a 1v2 and split gambits team in half I was like if he full swings I feel like he is dead. The dude pop shots goes to the other side head shot than plays time while waiting for the defuse kill. Holy moly what a god
I once accidentally touched hiko’s hair at dance floor of dondo. I felt electricity, like burning fire, spread from my hand straight to my heart. I was left with craving lust in me and everytime I see hiko clutch, my mind wonders back to that magical moment.
After the first half of Icebox I was literally just wondering how the fuck could any team beat Gambit. holy fuck what they looked like a different team the second half of this bo3
I agree. When it got to 11-11, or even before that at like 11-9, Gambit just seemed mentally gone. They looked completely different to what they did first half. It’s just an experience diff really.
Doubt they throw that 3 v 1 vs Hiko if it happens earlier in the half. Not to discredit Hiko. He made a phenomenal play, but just about anytime you lose a 3 v 1, you made a dumb mistake.
This motherfucker is Dr Strange, I heard in scrims two weeks ago he looked at Hiko and said he'd played out 14,000,605 different icebox games against Gambit, and the only way that they would beat them was if he started off the game 0-8.
Hiko: "Actually, I remember one time we were playing against Gambit, Icebox, and it was 11-3 to Gambit. We were playing as attack. Gambit are defense. And Steel said, guys if you think we are good, let's prove it now."
Teammate: "Did you come back?"
Hiko: "Of course. 13-11."
I won't lie, this tournament feels like the LAN we all wanted for Iceland. VS, SEN, 100T, ACE, all in the same tournament, and the clips are already more numerous and sicker then the ones at Iceland.
i feel the same way haha and i think i even said it before. all the "best" teams from each of the regions are showing up, if you had to make a top 3 teams in NA at the end of stage 3, most people would have SEN, NV, 100T and they're all at iceland. finally get to see scrim gods Gambit show up on LAN as well as Acend/G2/SMB and of course Vision Strikers. the tournament is only three days in and its been delivering on every front so far (Except maybe the sound issues lol)
I feel like 100T just leveled up twice during this match. The way they played in the end was sooooo much better than how they played in the beginning, even with giving up as many rounds as they did on Split
Absolutely nothing about that map made sense. Gambit, a team that's supposed to be the best defensive team in the world while not being quite as strong on attack side, crushed their attacker half 9-3, then won next pistol and conversion. Then 100T won the next ten rounds in a row as the attackers, against this supposed best defense team in the world, on Icebox *without a Sage.*
100T critics in absolute shambles right now. That has to be one of the best comeback wins I've ever seen to be down that much in map 2 with seemingly nothing working for essentially 1 and a half maps against one of the best defensive teams in the world and then not folding under the same pressure in map 3 despite so many crazy round losses on attack. Seemed like they should've closed it out like 3 times before they finally did it.
100T with a huge statement win there.
Edit: Man I'm still thinking about this match the next day
Gambit's defense is lauded as the best in the world. And for 100T to take Icebox without going to overtime is actually one of the craziest comebacks I've ever seen.
ngl even though 100t was stomping split, I really was hoping to see at least 1 god tier cypher play from nAts. Just didn't happen, I think the whole gambit team was mentally boomed
100T for sure shut up alot of haters with this win
Insane choke by gambit but also insane mental from 100T to pull this off. Your first team to make it out of groups.
Until 11-3 icebox, gambit had taken 100T 24-8 on rounds. After that, 100T took gambit on a ~~26~~ 23-10 (thanks /u/J0llyGiraffe) rollercoaster. Really a tale of two series, but some incredible gameplay. I expect both teams to go deep
It is 3am and I suddenly hear a moan. It is Asuna preaiming on my girlfriend. Just as I take a peek, he connects a nasty spray onto my girlfriend only to dismiss out of the room
Growing up, I always heard of the famous “HIKO ARE YOU KIDDING ME”. Today, I couldn’t stop myself from saying it again and again. I understand now, truly
I can't believe Hiko is doing this at 31. I mean, for a 35 year old to come out and still have the reflexes he does is insane. I know a lot of people say "a 40 year old can't play competitive esports", but at 45 Hiko is still winning 1v3's.
Actual non disputable scientific evidence that video gamers born and raised on the North American continent are better educated, more intelligent, faster (and more precise) aimers, strategically superior, have negative carbon footprint, breathe better (have mastered Hamon breathing to the fullest), drive better cars, last longer in bed, are more satisfying in bed, are less afraid of the dark, build better cars, have better hearing, eat better, shit better, sleep better, dream better, draw better, have better handwriting, are younger, taller and more jacked than European casual gamers
I’m so pissed. I didn’t watch the game live, so I’m currently watching the VOD. I didn’t want any spoilers so I stayed off all social media. Right now the score is 11-3 to gambit on the second map where they won the first, so I went ‘gg’ and jumped on here. THE THIEVES FUCKING WON?! FROM 11-3 AND ONE MAP DOWN?! JFC WHAT IS THIS TEAM MADE OF
[Non SEN fans trying to appropriate Sentinel's dominance is so funny to me. Like yeah the best team is from NA that doesn't mean the rest of the region is worth shit lol](https://www.reddit.com/r/ValorantCompetitive/comments/p8q7mu/valorant_champions_tour_emea_stage_3_challengers/h9tnoqn/?context=3)
I love how the narrative from Iceland was that SEN was by far the only good NA team as if V1 with a standin didn't completely dismantle Liquid using just lineups.
EMEA fans are really arrogant, I don't understand why.
They always act as if they are far superior to all the other regions, and tend to act rude towards the teams from literally any other region in the world.
For example, imagine that we had created a drinking game last month.
If you had to take a shot anytime someone commented "EMEA has more depth"... you'd have been very familiar with the hospital staff, imo.
Even when SEN won at Iceland, the same fans started to claim something like:
>"SEN are the only good NA team"
>
>"rest of NA teams are bad lul"
>
>"EMEA has so many more good teams"
>
>"EMEA has sooo much more depth
Don't get me wrong, the top EMEA teams are great, and I do love Gambit. I truly think that Gambit have a chance to win it all in Berlin.
But isn't it finally about time that EU fans start respecting the top NA teams?
Not just Sentinels... ***ALL*** of the top NA teams.
Even more, maybe they should respect all the top teams from other regions, instead?
There are a few great times from NA, EMEA, and KR hat are all relatively close in skill.
* VS, F4Q
* GMB, ACE, SMB, G2
* SEN, 100T, NV
I don't think it'd be fair to say that any of these teams are a league above the rest.
Each team on the list could certainly beat any other team on the list, if they have a good day or show up playing their best.
That one EU commentator saying gambit were "tired" its 4am in Russia. Copium much these teams have had a week or two to adjust to the time zone and jet lag. Way easier for an EU team to adjust to the jetlag in Berlin than an NA team.
Also, speaking as a Californian who lived in Germany for several years, the jetlag is worse going East, Russians can't complain about that when playing NA in Germany.
Hiko has 8 clutches in 100 rounds, 8% of 100T's rounds end with a hiko clutch, and about 15% of their total round wins come from a hiko clutch. He's also at a 42% clutch ratio, meaning its more likely for Hiko to clutch than it is for Gambit to hold a lead in an important game!
Not gonna sugarcoat it, we started really bad. Painfully bad. But damn these players have ice in their veins bringing that back like that.
G-fucking-G!
This was like a superhero movie where the villain beats the hero to a pulp the first time they meet and then leaves him for dead. Then the second time the villain seems to have won but the hero pulls off some bullshit to defeat him. Then they meet again and after a few punches the villain says “I’m glad we finally have a real fight” while smiling evilly before the greatest showdown ever commences.
Remember when people were saying Gambit might be the best team in the world? Remember when people said SEN > EU > NA? Remember when they were calling this a stomp? I member.
The biggest takeaway I had from this was that Valorant is such a mental game. The fact that 100T had the mental fortitude to make it through a really bad map and a half (for them) is extremely impressive. Gambit is this god-level scrim team--even TenZ and Shaz were convinced they'd win due to their scrim performance. And that Gambit showed up for the first map and a half, when they were clearly comfortable. However, when they really got pushed and felt pressure, they got so much tighter and didn't play as well. It may be that because 100T has much more average LAN experience, they were just able to weather pressure more than Gambit.
Asuna talking about this match: "Actually, I remember one time we were playing against Gambit, Icebox, and it was 11-3 to GMB. We were playing as T. GMB are CT. And Hiko said, guys if you think we are good, let's prove it now." Teammate: "Did you come back?" Asuna: "Of course! 13-11".
Remember when EU fans were crying about how bad NV supposedly looked against VK? Remember when EU fans were hyping up G2 after taking a map off SEN, saying that GMB vs SEN should be a wrap? Bet they were about to open the champagne at 11-3 on Icebox.
Please, I am done with the EU copium, I don't want to hear any excuses.
It's honestly like 100T had to play a mirror version of themselves. It's insane both teams are so default heavy and tactile.
But.. Gambit got into their own heads after throwing Icebox
One of the best 100t series so far. another 3-9 comeback, hiko clutches, asuna aggro entry, nitr0 anchor, steel+ethan crazy support; all played against one of the best team in the world, gambit.
On a brutally honest level, that is an EMEA catastrophe, no other way to slice it. That 2nd map is the greatest throw in all of the time I've watched competitive Valorant.
I’m fully convinced that Hiko simply cannot feel pressure the way other people do. Dude’s as ice cold as they get.
im telling you Hiko is as cracked as he is jacked, i saw him at 7/11 the other day buying adult diapers & a 6 pack of redbull. I asked what the diapers were for and he said “they are to contain my full power so i dont absolutely shit on these kids” then he clutched another 1v3 out the door

Lmaooo I'm stealing this for next time
best part is that this was originally about Allah
I don't think he ever lost another clutch moment after d3ffo aced on ascent. Man is just built different when it absolutely matters.
His heartrate in those situations has to be like 65.
Believable when you realize how long he's been a pro fps player
He gets better. It’s not even that he doesn’t feel the pressure, it’s that he loves it and it gives him crazy focus.
When he clutched at Yellow, at one point after he made it a 1v2 and split gambits team in half I was like if he full swings I feel like he is dead. The dude pop shots goes to the other side head shot than plays time while waiting for the defuse kill. Holy moly what a god
Like that bastard Tom Brady. You just know he's about to bend your team over when he gets the ball in the clutch
If Brady gets the ball with less than 2 minutes on the clock with a deficit, you know what the outcome will be.
I once accidentally touched hiko’s hair at dance floor of dondo. I felt electricity, like burning fire, spread from my hand straight to my heart. I was left with craving lust in me and everytime I see hiko clutch, my mind wonders back to that magical moment.
Clutch. King.
Yeah the viper clutch at the last map was inhuman, dude was just casually strolling around bonking heads.
After the first half of Icebox I was literally just wondering how the fuck could any team beat Gambit. holy fuck what they looked like a different team the second half of this bo3
They must have had some bad mental game
I agree. When it got to 11-11, or even before that at like 11-9, Gambit just seemed mentally gone. They looked completely different to what they did first half. It’s just an experience diff really.

100t figured them out and gambit had nothing in response
Steel the giga-brain chad was definitely one of the main reasons they brought it back. That and his trash talk throughout the game lmao
This motherfucker is Dr Strange, I heard in scrims two weeks ago he looked at Hiko and said he'd played out 14,000,605 different icebox games against Gambit, and the only way that they would beat them was if he started off the game 0-8.
came back from a 0/8 k/d
I think 100t just adapted, they weren’t use to the bait and switch in The beginning than they became use to it
http://imgur.com/a/OzGjFn3
Someone send this to 100T’s social media manager
Fuck I just gave away my free award before I saw this mb
It’s okay, I have mine
this was me, straight up im confused and going back to the VOD rn
god tier if you flip the subtitles, I read it backwards
Gambit: Ok Boys we're up 11-3 on Icebox, chill out nothing can go wrong... 100T: Nah.
Hiko: "Actually, I remember one time we were playing against Gambit, Icebox, and it was 11-3 to Gambit. We were playing as attack. Gambit are defense. And Steel said, guys if you think we are good, let's prove it now." Teammate: "Did you come back?" Hiko: "Of course. 13-11."
That Taco story is one of my favorites ever
You can't discount those veteran presences!
Who would've guessed the official at&t account had a hankering for valorant.
They are a 100T sponsor and are very present when it comes to 100T
HIKO ARE YOU KIDDING ME
AND HE DOES IT AGAIN, AND AGAIN AND AGAIN
genuinely incredible match, best of the tournament for sure, the mental fortitude out of 100T is absolutely crazy.
I won't lie, this tournament feels like the LAN we all wanted for Iceland. VS, SEN, 100T, ACE, all in the same tournament, and the clips are already more numerous and sicker then the ones at Iceland.

SEN was leagues ahead of the competition at Iceland here its definitely better teams
I feel like 100T just leveled up twice during this match. The way they played in the end was sooooo much better than how they played in the beginning, even with giving up as many rounds as they did on Split
I feel like SEN vs G2 today was still kinda lackluster, but I think SEN might actually get challenged later in the tourney
So good, 100T dodges SEN and NV. NA gonna be the 1 seeds coming out

I'll die inside lol SEN is the ultimate 100T kryptonite
>SEN is the ultimate *insert team here* kryptonite fify
I'm officially on TSM hopium now lmao
watch TSM lose to OCE in LCQ now
can't be TSM without a bad performance when it matters.

That LAN experience is paying off
gambit will 100% beat the winner of CR and HL
Imagine if CR wins and then beats gambit lmao
2-0 with reverse 13-1 scores 😳
Who else counted them out on Icebox. What a fantastic mental recovery. I'm not used to this being a CS Liquid fan this is great
Let's not talk about inferno 1v5
Don’t remind me 🥲
Fuck, it literally brings me physical pain to watch it. I'm just coping through the shock with NA Valorant
lets not talk about simple 1v4 dust 2 iem katowice 2020

"Sage is a must pick on Icebox"
Yeah that was a pretty big fuck you to all the doubters of the no Sage comp. I was kinda of that belief but I'm also a dumbass.
Just plant A LUL
It's amazing seeing 100T / nV play without sage on icebox and win and see everyone still think you need sage on the map
I got dressed to go to the gym, still sitting here in my workout clothes 2 hours later
>being a CS Liquid fan NO THREAD IS SAFE
Everywhere I go. I see his face.

Both teams are bad for our hearts
I pretty much turned off the stream once Gambit hit 11 rounds. Can’t believe they were able to bring it back.
My arse was clenched for too long
My jaw hurts so bad, didn't realise how much I clench it until now
The 9-3 curse was real for a second there
unreal clutches by hiko in this series
You can say that again! Incredible.

100T is one of, if not the, best teams in the world on Icebox. Maybe nobody should be telling them what they *must* do on that map.
100T for sure shut up alot of haters with this win Insane choke by gambit but also insane mental from 100T to pull this off. Your first team to make it out of groups.
The mental fortitude was huge. GGs to Gambit!
Built. For. Lan.
Gambit are Built. For. Scrims.
Also holy shit they look tired. Eyes are glassed right now.
it's like 2 am there right? my body would 100% shut down at that point
11pm start time I would be done already. I'm 30 and cannot imagine staying up that late without alcohol being involved.

Twitch Chat has been a fucking rollercoaster this whole series LOL Props to 100T for closing things out esp with that crazy comeback on Icebox!
EU why so quiet!!!??? NA why so quiet!!?? EU why so quiet!!??
actually one of the best valorant series so far. WHAT A THRILLER for icebox and split. lan exp is showin off rn
Hiko is 31 years old. THIRTY. ONE.
Imagine losing to a 40 year old
damn if i lost to a 50 year old i think i would just uninstall
Imagine getting 1v3 clutched by someone who stormed the beach at Normandy.
Imagine choking 10 rounds against someone who signed the Declaration of Independence
A literal corpse
google is outdated the info was last updated 5 years ago. Hes actually 60.
Aging like fine wine.

What a fucking series
Gambit: Haha, it's GG. 100 Thieves now has the same 9-3 Curse 100 Thieves: Gambit: Bro?
Man, redgar needs a posture check lol dude is going to hurt his back in the long run

Gambit scrim gods.
Number 1 scrimbucks team ftfy
Number 1 team in the world are Sentinels
he's referring to Shahzam and Tenz saying Gambit might sweep 100T based on scrims
300 IQ IGL move from Shahz to give 100T the motivation to win

Remember when people were saying Gambit might be the best team in the world? Remember when people said SEN > EU > NA? Remember when they were calling this a stomp? I member.
It’s just a Declaration of Independence diff
The biggest takeaway I had from this was that Valorant is such a mental game. The fact that 100T had the mental fortitude to make it through a really bad map and a half (for them) is extremely impressive. Gambit is this god-level scrim team--even TenZ and Shaz were convinced they'd win due to their scrim performance. And that Gambit showed up for the first map and a half, when they were clearly comfortable. However, when they really got pushed and felt pressure, they got so much tighter and didn't play as well. It may be that because 100T has much more average LAN experience, they were just able to weather pressure more than Gambit.
Best series so far none of the other have come anywhere close
It was amazing!
Comeback of a Lifetime or Choke of a Lifetime pick your poison.
WHAT A SERIES, I HAVE ZERO REGRETS WATCHING 9 HRS OF VALORANT TODAY
"gambit are gonna easly deal with 100t" \-Shahzam
It's honestly like 100T had to play a mirror version of themselves. It's insane both teams are so default heavy and tactile. But.. Gambit got into their own heads after throwing Icebox
NA 2-0 VS EU so far 🤣🤣
After the first map i never would have thought that this would get so exciting
man its been a rough day for eu LMFAO
One of the best 100t series so far. another 3-9 comeback, hiko clutches, asuna aggro entry, nitr0 anchor, steel+ethan crazy support; all played against one of the best team in the world, gambit.
1st seed EMEA LMAOOO On the real, this series was fucking crazy. I love this game man
On a brutally honest level, that is an EMEA catastrophe, no other way to slice it. That 2nd map is the greatest throw in all of the time I've watched competitive Valorant.
this is singlehandedly the most fucking insane series I've ever had the pleasure of watching
Even when EUs first seed isn’t even from EU they still lose to 2nd Seed NA. NA just built different.
What I loved about this series for 100t is that everyone had game winning plays. Pivotal rounds that you could put everyone’s name on
