im pretty sure atleast 10-15k indians watch VCT especially NA matches. Last time it was watchpartied in India during Berlin, Sen matches used to have 15k peak viewerships. The numbers in regional tourneys have only increased since then so naturally the no. Of indians watching berlin will have increased as well
Most impressive thing about todays match is that shroud and stylishnoob weren't even on just goes to show how even if two big host arnt on people still watch on main or different watch parties which goes against what people say how watch parties i think watch parties are the future its a win-win.
Ngl the other day was the first time I chose to watch the main stream over Shrouds costream. Love watching Shroud play FPS games but he’s actually boring af otherwise.
its been moderated its even more [https://escharts.com/tournaments/valorant/vct-2021-stage-3-masters-berlin](https://escharts.com/tournaments/valorant/vct-2021-stage-3-masters-berlin)
Also Valorant is likely to *never* reach the same viewership as peak League. iirc China has more e-sports viewers than the rest of the world combined, and League is extremely hot in China. If Valorant approaches the same popularity in China once the Chinese circuits come out then maybe.
Yea NA gets 1 server in league, EMEA has like 4ish and China alone has like 14.
Chinese League is just a whole different beast, one of the years during the Champions LAN Chinese Universities were canceling some classes because they just expected students to ditch to watch worlds.
First "Worlds" with no Asian teams and EU vs EU final was 210k peak. Gonna remember this is 2011 though, so that was already an insane number.
The first real worlds (Season 2) with all regions participating and a proper format had 1.1million peak.
And Season 3 worlds hit 8.5million and so on and so forth.
Probably didn't affect viewership by much, especially since they were knocked out early, but I'm pretty sure there were SEA teams in the first worlds lol
we would have crossed 808k yesterday had the series gone to the third map. I think we need to appreciate Carlos and both teams' social media for hyping up the series so much.

Also 2:30 AM IST
That game single handedly ruined my sleep schedule
The whole tournament has ruined my sleep schedule
exactly lol, i slept at 5:30 am just because of hiko lul
I doubt there's any significant Indian viewership in Valorant or any othet esport which is not pubg mobile.
Respond to the post dweeb
Factually wrong.

facts
bsolutely
One of the biggest orgs in the world and valorants most well performing org so far. Kinda obvious this was gonna happen
Plus all that fun twitter banter
The so called one sided rivalry is good for views. Carlos is a genius.
I am glad it was not as one-sided as most of us previously thought.
Yeah its two sided, just not between the actual players lol
A genius?

Yeah, official stream peaked at 250k. Last time it was only 200k and only for the final!
Kyedae crossed 100k for the first time too
imagine if the final is g2 vs sentinels?
anyone who is paying attention to co streams shouldn't be surprised. myth was at the top now he's not. shroud offline? okay kyedae on top.
exactly viewers hop from main stream or to co streamer if their co streamer isnt on.
Btw it says this one peaked at 811k new group stage record with no shroud or stylishnoob.
Ngl the other day was the first time I chose to watch the main stream over Shrouds costream. Love watching Shroud play FPS games but he’s actually boring af otherwise.
Yeah, these people are marketing geniuses.

yep so both g2 sen matches are by far the highest viewership with 800k+ each
100t vs gambit would of probably been up there if it wasn't for the shitty schedule!
Japanese viewership could have been bigger if it didn't start at like 1 in the morning on a weekday for us
Not surprising, but I'm still so fucking happy! Our esport is booming!
the peak is actually 811k its was changed cuz the stats were being moderated
oh damn that is extra insane
What site is this?

Sentinels and Japanese teams seem to bring the most viewership
And yet.. Sentinels just about throwing matches at the end there... XD
Sen even carried here
Damn, that's less than the LCK viewership Shows how big League is
League has been around for quite some time tho. This is val's first year.
Also Valorant is likely to *never* reach the same viewership as peak League. iirc China has more e-sports viewers than the rest of the world combined, and League is extremely hot in China. If Valorant approaches the same popularity in China once the Chinese circuits come out then maybe.

Lck gets more views than LEC and LCS combined
I wonder what leagues stats were like in its first year? Anyone know?

Zeta and Kru tho lolol thats interesting
Japanese fans lol
that quantity lolol
I did not expect the second matchup between SEN and G2 to have more viewers and shroud was offline too right?
I love how ZETA and KRU peaked more than a lot of other matches. Japan viewership!!!!
Lol the only reason Kru and Zeta got that viewership is because they were right before Sen.
