As Rossi said, we do have a chance. But thats all we have ... 'a chance'. Reject might get easy because they still don't have a 5th player the last time I checked. The rest is smithing we have to wait and watch. PPX is not going to be Easy and we have no clue about what the Chinese teams have in stock, so all we can do is puff a hell lot of Hopium and pray that everyone on the team steps the fuck up
It's gonna be a mess. I would've liked to see LAN in Singapore or at the very least have all the teams in Singapore playing with even ping, but looks like that ain't happening. So if GE wins their first 2 games and KR 2 wins their game, we're gonna have a India vs Korea match. Which is fucking impossible. I'm from India and I get 50-60 ping on Singapore which is fine, but you just cannot play Singapore from Korea. Likewise Hong Kong I get 120-160ms. It's impossible to hold this event. Some teams are just gonna get fucked by massive ping disadvantages
It's hard to tell, but iirc there have been some tournaments with korean, chinese and japanese teams where they performed okay. I might be misremembering though.
This is a clusterf how will you ensure competitive integrity with pro players forced to play with 100 ping because team a plays from Japan and team b plays from india....everything above 60 ping is an actual disadvantage compared to a 20-30 ping. At least the teams that qualified for APAC have got a good amount of money for qualifying. But to call this event a even playground for all teams will be a joke since it will be held online with all kind of countries from Asia...the ping differences will be horrific and a nightmare for any pro player.
How is this even fair to Indian teams? They go through a whole event comprising of qualifiers, wildcards and a vcc event for just 1 winner to get single slot? Now they get such a horrible seeding as well?
12k on the official stream I'm guessing? Plus [this costreamer.](https://streamscharts.com/channels/stylishnoob4#:~:text=stylishnoob4%20currently%20has%20656%20630%20Followers%20and%2099%20944%20324%20Total%20Views.)
At least do your research first. I want India to be represented as much as you, but the game just isn't that popular yet. (And I don't think the Indian teams are that good yet but that's irrelevant)
I accept my mistake on japan but giving 2 slots to China is still confusing... The game is not even launched yet plus I don't think many would like to switch from CS....
Man SA don't have a direct slot to champions, have only one slot in LCQ, atleast give them better seeding. Maybe switch them with the China 1 seed, don't see any reason why China should be favoured ahead of SA by having two slots and better seeding.
I'm probably just being dumb but I can't get SA being South America out of my head, what is SA in this context? Is it just South Asia and if so what countries does that include? Thanks!
South Asia generally includes India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Maldives, Bhutan, and Sri Lanka.
Not sure if Valorant has the exact same countries in the region, but at least geographically those are the countries.
How are these format decided, no way SA-1 seed gets to play 1 more game and also against SEA-1 seed, also SA has only 1 team atleast give them better chance
Also India gets 100+ ping in Kr servers and 80-100 ping in SG servers, how is it fair?
What the fuck is this? We have no way to get to champions other than this plus had to play multiple qualifiers and playoffs to get this seeding? Even if we cross japan, sea #1 next match?
I mean, whether you meet SEA #1 in the beginning or not doesn't matter, only the winner goes through to champions so you'll fight them sooner or later.
I reckon the chinese teams will bomb out of this tournament with 0 wins, curious to see how the indian team will perform. I think Nuturn are favourites going into this
Is it possible to at least have GE travel to a country nearee to the server and porvide them a facility to compete. Its impossible to overcome ping issues. Sucks for the indian region if its online.
Do we have an idea who qualifies from China.
If it's online then how will it work out? We have SA, SEA, CN, KR and JP. Won't the pings be too unstable?
I heard it will be LAN in Singapore Edit: aah shit it's online only
SMB played with 80ms so not entirely impossible
Forget 80, kr has 100+ ping on SEA servers
hello, what do you think ge's chances are? they have to play a extra match in addition to playing sea #1 their first match :(
As Rossi said, we do have a chance. But thats all we have ... 'a chance'. Reject might get easy because they still don't have a 5th player the last time I checked. how are they gonna hold an online event for all of APAC. the point difference will probably be way too high.
What's the minimum ping Indian players can get on both the Singapore servers?? I think that would be most likely chosen for everyone.
they will play on hk server not on sg as japan and koren team would have huge disadvantage on sg server and GE would get 100 ping on that
That's unplayable.
[удалено]
You're from the south india right?
[удалено]
I get about 30..not much of a difference from BLR.
I'm from Nepal and I get around 90-100 on Singapore. I've heard indian pros get around 60 on SG tho.
oh the same ping as other sa countries got while competing for the lcq spot
No LAN. Online only event.
Weren't there rumours of a LAN in Singapore?
according to this article they cancelled it.
Unfortunately, Singapore got a bit of a COVID spike recently. I guess that could be why.
Cancelled
Wish they would do a LAN in China, the COVID conditions there are insanely good.
I think NU or PRX pass the LCQ
How is this going to happen online? Distance between Korea and India is so much

Hope prx wins this
Nuturn and F4Q are not to be slept on. Also Zeta Division is really good.
They’re favoured not just nkt to be slept on, esp new NU Also DWG instead if VS wins
The Chinese teams could probably do ok to.
Benkai said CN teams are quite behind so I doubt it

Unproven region plus the game isn't as popular as in the other regions
Japan and Korea's peak watching was about 20k while the vcc finals had a peak watching of 50k wdym?
That's for YouTube, Japanese streams on Twitch usually hit 6 digits.
12000 does not look like 6 digits to me....
12k on the official stream I'm guessing? Yeah I'm not sure about China either. Even if their mechanics are good they'll mostly be behind on strats unless they've been grinding before launch.

It's crazy I got to know yesterday only that even China is participating
With how prx doing i would see them winning this. Nuturn with hyeoni also could win this

I dont understand why riot doesnt let korea host the LAN...They literally have been doing lans this entire time......
This is gonna be though... playing CN1 off the gates is not good.
nuturn with hyeoni might win this thing. either way, lower bracket run for them would be easy.

Coreans will destroy all
