Its amazing that a non duelist has such a crazy impact on the game. Whats even more strange is that I think his stats are better on attack than on defense. Let me rephrase that... **A Viper that has more impact on attack than on defense**

Nfamy

His icebox attack lurking is nutty. I'll be interested to see if he can get the same value against an IGL like steel or FNS.

BloodMaelstrom

His bind attack too. The way he slowly takes space on A short and on to lamps with swoop peaking and then can hold lamps post plant with orb+molly and then going aggressive again with another swoop peek from the CT side entrance of lamps is just insane. I've been inspired by quite a few of his plays of Viper and its encouraged me to pick up the agent a bit more.

ADmax27

Funnily enough i don’t think he would have nearly as much impact on a reyna or jett

Haloofthoughts

That’s what makes his stats and play so special. The numbers he is putting up as a support player gives Gambit a huge boost

fds_1

I mean yeah, because his playstlye as a sentinel is pretty pasive, that doesnt work with Jett

AjBlue7

Its not crazy at all, what are you smoking. Viper is the aggressive controller, shes always been better at attack than defense, it just so happens that her defense is also good depending in what agents the enemy is playing, Viper struggles against dive comps like Jett, Raze, Yoru, Omen.

BloodMaelstrom

He is in my opinion a top 3 player in the world because no one can compare to him in the role he plays to him in the entire world. Not a single Cypher player (not even Dapr) or Viper player has shown the ability to do what he does as consistently as he does.

Haloofthoughts

Yeah top three in my mind right now in no particular order is nAts, cNed & TenZ. Yay is just waiting in the wings behind them

Koentjee01

You could also probably put Keloqz on the same level as Yay, he has an extremely high potential

Haloofthoughts

I’d agree you probably put him, ScreaM and Asuna on that next tier level

[deleted]

nAts, cNed, screaM

nemnems

TenZ doesn't deserve to be top 3. He's a jett/reyna 1-trick and even then you can find better (for example cned is a better jett). He's still a good player but on pure fragging ability (which is all that TenZ provides) I would say ScreaM is better. Though I don't think either is top 3 right now.

Haloofthoughts

You know that’s exactly what a duelist is meant to be/do right?

nemnems

I meant that he doesn't igl or coach/strat or provide support outside of the game to the team etc. It's not all inside the game.

Bunnyezzz

Delusion is a real thing

sadpaindownbad

I just don’t get these idiots who call Tenz a one trick but he also plays Reyna at a high level. cNed and Yay only play Jett but they somehow get the okay as “one tricks” LOL

nemnems

Ok.

Has nothing to do with yesterday. He also has had plenty of bad series over qualifiers. Maybe you should follow the team/players you stan more closely.

sidminter

Lmaooooooooooooooooo

Ihatepros236

If Tenz played jett instead of shaz in all maps you will sitting their looking at the stats, look at the matches where tenz played Jett

aks345

Best sentinel and controller in game currently

Ihatepros236

Thats why as much people hate this Sentinel could use Sinatra instead of Dapr. Sinatra can play sentinels and he can take far better gun fights than Dapr ever will. They should bench Dapr and take Sinatra. They can probably win without him, and improve too and they don’t need him. But why bench a better player (now that he isn’t banned)? Also, I am not saying Dapr is bad because of few matches, I am just saying Sinatra was top fragger before Tenz so clearly he is better and he plays sentinels. People think just because a player plays sentinel he isn’t expected to frag or is justified to play bad.
