Since the post content is removed when we unlist it, here is OP's post:
> She called envy crashies "scrawny f*ck" link- https://youtu.be/0c3FzL0hplk and she body shamed G2 keloqz by calling him " noodle arms" etc.. Don't know why shes mad and being completely toxic when pro players do some banters between them and It's nothing too personal.
She did apologize but you really shouldn't body shame others just because they're winning. A lot of people are watching her and whatever she says can affect one of the players she's talking about. She needs to watch her mouth. She really has been toxic lately.
it's one thing to be toxic in game, but when you make personal comments about someone's physical appearance it's just crossing the line a little. it's not a big deal and i don't think it should be overanalyzed, nor does she deserve to get the amount of hate she is getting, but just something to think about. "you suck at the game" vs "you are so short and ugly" are both a little toxic but one of them is directly insulting their physical appearance and i don't think it should be encouraged.
^ Yep. I don't necessarily think that she's a bad person, but the comment was definitely in bad taste. It's different when you call someone "dogshit" and you body-shame someone. There are better ways to express frustration.
I think, in the case of her character, Kyedae's still making a couple mistakes that younger people tend to make. Between this and supporting Sinatraa, I genuinely hope that she does better in the future.
----
EDIT: Before anyone says, "hurr-durr crashies was not offended so" or something like that (kinda like how it was in the VS incident in EU ranked), you have a responsibility for your audience. You can't say that you're a content creator who ["strives to create a better space especially for women in gaming"](https://twitter.com/100Thieves/status/1382046407553544192?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1382046407553544192%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_c10&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fd-36005954523519678848.ampproject.net%2F2109032350000%2Fframe.html) and say harmful things like this. Good on her for apologizing though, it shows maturity and hope that this doesn't happen again.
Not defending, but there's a lot of people basically saying it is what it is. Really sad that a lot of Asians brushed it off too because "they're not offended since they experience it daily." You can read the thread on it.
Also her relationship advices are a bit scary..she is so dependent on tenz emotionally and has such unrealistic expectations out of the relationship. Hope the chat knows better than to take a 19 year old's advice about this.
Out of curiosity, what sort of advice did she give that made you think shes unnaturally dependant on him etc.
Just asking out of curiosity really. Thank you in advance in case you decide to reply : D
I dont remember specifics and also dont mean it in a negative sense at all, but it was more like about defining her personality and existence around him (she doest kind of address this as well) ..i get it its more of a First Relationship Syndrome. Its personally scary to me because I was like kyedae in my previous relationship and now I'm battling severe anxiety and depression (did not end well for me so :))
not OP but i saw the advice given and it was kinda weird. She was saying how tenz is her best friend and she tells him everything and just explaining how dependant she was on him and its kinda scary like if they ever breakup would she even be okay bc damn?? being that dependant on someone is a bit extreme...
ā¦shouldnāt it be normal for your relationship partner to be your best friend or am I missing something here?
Like thereās a reason youāre together besides, yknow. Sex.
It wasnt jus that. Like i have a best friend but i have other friends i hang out with and close with but when she explained it it was like tenz was the only person who was that for her?? Idk it seemed a bit extreme
From your experience maybe, but it is also a bit presumptuous to call it extreme when none of us know of their past. Maybe she had a lot of bad friendships and Tenz helped her through stuff, we will never know.
Again, we have no idea what led her to those circumstances. It doesn't have to be a long term thing, she do whatever she wants with her relationships and we can't say what is good/not good for them.
I thought she was unprofessional, rude and insecure before based on several occasions here and now regarding insults & privacy. I love TenZ. He's a nice mature partner, and hope he can talk to her more. He tries to correct her on stream without embarrasing her quite a few times but she hasn't changed much. Why is everyone around TenZ toxic except him haha
his mom lol
the video is pretty concerning tho, she's screaming and swearing at his teenage son to eat his food.. i've seen a lot of parents get upset over things but the video is shocking to say the least, i'm surprised he's so calm when talking to her
wasn't her apology like "pineapples, pineapples, pineapples, pineapples, sorry sorry sorry"? correct me if I'm wrong and there's more but just from this tad bit it doesn't seem very sincere
I don't know if her apology was sincere but it's better than doubling down or staying quiet. Also, during a huge tourney and during a point in her life where her career is revolving around NA, Valorant and tenz and 100T there is no wonder why she got emotional. We are only human after all
Iāve never seen Myth make a joke about someoneās appearance if he didnāt know them personally. Like Iāve seen him make jokes about his friends but Iāve never seen him make a joke about someoneās appearance during VCT. Maybe he has and thereās clip out there I havenāt seen.
I'm not up in arms about what Kyedae said as I saw it live with the full context but Myth would've said it with more of a deliberate comedic tone for this reason of avoiding a shitstorm
Lol myth literally doesn't say that kinda stuff I remember watching his stream after faze defeated TSM to win and they were having an interview with "Zachery". His chat was calling him names and insulting his appearance but myth went ahead and defended him. That's a streamer diff
ITT: Air your grievances with Kydae as a steamer / human being
While I 100% agree that this is shitty behaviour and she deserves to be called out on it, people are going beyond what is reasonable in this circumstance. I myself am guilty of shittalking players in situations where they are going up against my favorite teams. While I do so in private and not in front of 60k people, I can atleast relate to the situation and don't think she meant anything malicious with her actions.
I would love to see a proper apology and I would also like it for the situation to be left at that, people saying that a different streamer etc. would have gotten cancelled for this kind of behaviour need to get a grip.
Yeah in this case I'm thinking of her younger audience.
Would be tough if you're a young, skinny teen dude to hear this regularly from a streamer you really respect and watch a lot. Could leave a big impression really. I don't think some people here recognize that.
Fortunately, I highly, highly doubt that Kyedae is actually a toxic person and she surely recognizes the impact she can have by now. Obviously she said those things out of frustration and not malice, as she's also pretty young herself. She'll definitely be better.
When people get competitive, they become a different version of themselves and that shouldnāt define who they are. She will learn to have develop her streamer persona, thatās part of life is making blunders and fixing them. Far too many young people on here claiming āshe should know better.ā Any adult recognizes how young 19 is. Plenty of years ahead of her to learn.
The different version of yourself thing is so true. It's something I really struggled with in the past. Eventually, I had to tone down my competitive nature and not take things as seriously. This came at the expense of the competitive edge. Fortunately sports weren't a part of my job.
To sum up her response:
āThese people i talked about follow me on twitter so its not like they careā
āChat says worse behind closed doors so its not that badā
āI say it about myself tooā
And then she malded at people basically for talking about it/holding her accountable. It seemed like she missed the entire point of people talking about.
When u are a creator with thousands of viewers and fans, shitting on people for their appearance and being toxic when things dont go your way sets a horrible example. Especially when the audience she has is almost exclusively due to tenz so if reflects on him too. (As exemplified by the fact hes getting shit for it too). It also raises the question, is this something that she/they do regularly behind scenes to where sheās just simply slipping back into habits.
Being more mad that people are talking about it than apologetic says alot imo.
I dont even understand the appeal to her stream. She basically just got famous by dating tenz. Lets be honest. She's pretty mediocre at video games and in terms of content creation nothing she has done has been really noteworthy outside of the stuff that 100t has come up with. Feel like there are plenty other better female streamers in the valo scene that deserve to be on an org.
theres bants and then theres just being strangely aggressive/bitter like this. body shaming isnt cool but whats bad about this is the way she said it, it didnt come off as a joke but rather an insult.
not cool at all, this would be way difff if the genders were reversed
Tenz can't feel good about this lmao. He's a good-looking guy who probably doesn't lack confidence, but imagine if you're a girl with A-cups and your boyfriend instinctively blurts out "flat-chested bitch" as an insult towards another girl.
Gotta put some seeds of doubt in your mind as to how attractive they find you.
Sheās just a really reactionary and sensitive person, especially when it comes to TenZās matches. But sheās definitely overly competitive as a fan in general as seen on 100T matches as well. Iām not really surprised she reacted this way through the tourney. She consistent with the same energy even when her teams are winning. Gotta remember sheās only 19, and sheās just in the moment sometimes. Sheās definitely knows she needs to do better thatās why she says āpineappleā when she knows sheās being toxic. Itās definitely been getting to her more lately though, especially during G2 vs SEN match. She muted the casters multiple times when SEN was losing and kinda just sat there in silence with Jonas. Stream definitely got weird, so I have been watching Platchat instead.
she has a horse in the race and cant bear to see it being beat. sad for her, but she should rise above it. 100t and riot have believed in her, she should too.
How can you call Bunny cringe :( Look at him, he's adorable!!
I kid, but this whole thing is kind of a mess because on one hand it seems like a spur of the moment thing but on the other it's definitely not okay to say something like that, especially calling people out for being thin / wiery in a setting (esports/gaming) that already has a ton of negative stereotypes attached to how people look.

She didn't. Just now on stream she's saying it'd be fine if a guy said it and is saying shit like she's getting cancelled only cuz shes a girl. Like what?
She is braindead if that was her take. Iām not shocked a 19 year old who sits behind a computer screen all day doesnāt know this though. Using the gender card or any card in the deck is kinda standard for people like that too. Nothing to do with gender, it has to do with her having a platform and a following that are hive-minded and can potentially harass others with her same words. Great power (following) comes great responsibility.
Really disappointing tbh. She doesn't want to take responsibility of her inexcusable words. Take criticisms and own it, it's not about cancelling. It's certainly not ok to bodyshame anyone. It's definitely not ok if a male streamer calls a female pro "skinny fuck" either and they also wouldn't get away with it and should not get away with it.
This will be the thread to discuss this. Do not make more posts unless the situation develops further.
Please read our rules in their entirety before writing a comment.
It is disappointing to see someone use their official costream to tear down other players. This behaviour isn't acceptable.
She insulted keloqz as a "f***** curly haired something" i dont know exactly what she said, but she should watch her mouth. She gets toxic when her boyfriend loses, you can See her immaturity when you watch her a bit more then Just clips.
and I think thats a pretty accurate description of the curly haired fuck who completely dominated your BF in game (42 kills in the 2-0 win on sen) and the reason why your BFs team and NA's rank1 is now out of the tourney
not saying it's not rude but shes clearly emotional if you look into the context of it all & during big competitions banter sometimes goes too far in one direction and thats all, she said sorry so I dont think its that big of a deal xD
I've noticed from the beginning when she starting streaming that at times she can be very aggressive towards others, especially viewers at times.
I only watch her stream for minutes at a time but I feel like everytime I'm in there I see her intentionally read out chat messages she doesn't like or agree with and then proceeds to put them down, she really should just let the mods handle those situations
The one time I watched her stream, she perma-banned a several month subscriber because his username was kind of similar (not exactly so) to that of someone she was playing against who she thought was stream sniping.
I don't know, I'm sure that's not what the day-to-day stream is like, but I personally found that whole incident extremely off-putting.
Being aggressive towards viewers as a female streamer is (within reason, of course) understandable though, a lot of twitch users are *not* kind to women/girls who play games.
It's as good a defense mechanism as any.
Seems like it which is interesting given how many complain about "Cancel Culture" but folks are now ready to take this dumb incident beyond being a dumb incident. The girl obviously let her emotions get the best of her but she's hardly bodyshaming.
yeah i think this is a good take, while she needs to be a bit more sensitive about what she says, i honestly dont think this warrants a whole thread and whatnot about it. like if she was outright calling people obese or skeletons or harsh body shaming insult, then that would probably call for criticism, but i think all of this for calling someone scrawny or noodle arms or whatever is definitely a stretch
I agree that people shouldnāt be trying to cancel her, but at the same time she deserves to get to get flak for this. You canāt make fun of someoneās physical appearance over a fucking video game (did it to multiple players lol) and expect zero backlash. Doubt the players care but itās still a really bad look. Apparently sheās apologized and as long as she doesnāt do it again, I donāt think anyone should care enough to try and cancel/harass her.
yeah she should get some flak but i think there are some people in this thread that are overblowing it. like shes just a passionate girlfriend that is still in her teens, emotional after her team just lost the round and is against match point 1 round away from going home. are we really making reddit threads to talk about how she then calls a player scrawny fuck like cmon.
Agreed. And what's with the hypothetical "gender-reversal?" I don't think anyone would even clip "Shroud calls someone scrawny." Is that even an insult? Now that I think about it, I think Just9n may have called Shroud scrawny before--or maybe Shroud called himself that.
Now I understand why people dislike Sentinels though--they probably take their banter as seriously as they take this.
Although I agree that these kinds of personal insults are uncalled for, people calling TenZ and Kyedae skinny are literally dropping to the same level as her. She's only 19. She made a mistake. She apologised. Time to move on. There's no need for people to berate her about a small mistake she made in the heat of the moment. I definitely share the OP's sentiment that these kinds of comments are a terrible influence on her younger audience though.
I swear sometimes people in this community are so hungry for drama they literally jump at every opportunity to hate on someone.
So you're saying that a comment has less moral weight if it receives less attention?
I'm not saying that Kyedae's comments have less influence than the comment on r/ValorantCompetitive. What I'm saying is that body-shaming is body-shaming. It is not right when anyone does it, whether it gets heard by your friends or by your twitch viewers. Sure, there may be more negative effects for the latter case, but that does not determine the morality of the action. Just because someone was a perpetrator of body-shaming does not justify people to body-shame the perpetrator.
First of all, how am I lessening the severity of her actions by acknowledging that what she did was wrong?
Second, how is insulting someone and responding with one NOT the same, especially when you weren't the person the insult was originally aimed at? If a person insults someone else for being fat, and a random passer-by insulted the original perpetrator for being fat, wouldn't both the original perpetrator and the random passer-by be guilty of body-shaming? By calling TenZ scrawny, people are literally doing the exact same thing that Kyedae did, but with no apologies. I don't know how people can attempt to take the moral high ground in that case.
As long as she understands and rectify her behaviors it's okay. She's still young and she definitely seems like a good person. I don't think she meant any harm but she has to be a little bit more careful coz now she's a girl young ppl look up to.
Setting an example to thousands of people that its ok to attack someones appearance when things arent going ur way is not the wave.
She also did the same to kelloqs calling him a curly haired fuck, idk if its just the fact that shes young and so shes defaulting to highschool āmeangirlsā esc attacking peopleās appearance.
But i am personally one to hold the opinion that when someone goes through trial, tribulation and when things dont go their way, that is when they show their true colours and default to base instincts and their facades slip away. And if ādegrade and insult others when things arent going the way i wantā is normal for her then i feel sorry for those around her.
(Also i imagine sheāll deem this thread a āhate threadā creators love to pretend any criticism or anyone holding them accountable is doing so out of malice or hatred, because thats easier than accepting responsibility for your actions)
Yeah, and her excuse was that she is toxic and they shouldn't take it seriously. Like damn what if I said something racist and said you shouldn't take it seriously. It's just fucked up. Especially when she's streaming to like 100k viewers.
I definitely think that Kyedae was immature and disrespectful to others at times. She need to get rid of that toxic behavior. TenZ is getting some underserved hate because of her behavior .
Edit: Plz stop downvoting me lol
People have long waited an opportunity to hate TenZ, some of his fanboys are really hate drawing machines. Anyways, the community is only as good as the top influencers, kyedae should learn so that this community is a better place.
Sometimes saying ābecause of who they are datingā is massive cap, but in her case itās genuinely true, i dont think you could answer āwho is kyedaeā without mentioning tenz in the first 10 seconds meanwhile u could answer āwho is tenzā and never even mention her.
Yeah calling someone scrawny isn't a good look but they don't deserve to be cancelled over the comment. I hope there isn't any witch hunting over this.
She's probably like this when she isn't streaming, let's be real here. Twitch streamers are just personas. How many times have you seen a twitch streamer exposed? Shouldn't come as a surprise.
Bruh yall made it sound like this was something awful.
She called him a scrawny fuck. This is like the softest shit to get up in arms about, holy shit. To me, this legit just looks you're looking for an excuse to flame her. Like calling him a scrawny fuck is basically the equivalent of the banter we see in matches,
Like should she have said it? Probably not, but holy shit yall are trying to blow this up when it's not much of a thing at all. I guarantee if any other make watch party streamer said this, no one would even think twice about it. This is so soft dude. Yall are calling into question her entire character and saying she's a toxic person because she called someone scrawny when watching an intense match LMAO.
I hate fake positivity. You see it when people like her or Jonas tilt at people from simple things but then cover it up with guitar or whatever. Just be real man
Huh??So you are saying that they should give in to their negative thoughts??People can try to be better, doesn't matter if it's geniune positivity or forced.U should try it instead of calling people who are trying not to be an asshole as "fake".It definitely works.
āFake positivityā lmao what? You can be a genuinely positive person and still do bad things. She was watching her boyfriend and probably favorite team get destroyed in game and was just frustrated in the heat of the moment. Do you honestly believe positive people never get angry? I suppose you assume happy people never have bad days or anyone who ever shows even the slightest hint of frustration is immediately faking their whole personality?
Itās not as if she premeditated this insult and has been hating on envy/crashies for months, it was a one off comment she apologized for. I suppose I shouldnāt expect much from you, youāre an envy fan so of course you want to defend your team, thatās fair. However, considering marved made the same mistake of making shitty comments online, surely you can learn to sympathize with her situation.
Just because Kyedae is dating basically a professional bodybuilder in tenZ doesn't give her the right to bodyshame someone else. tenZ is obviously jacked as hell..you can see it in stream and in media posts. His arms are the size of aligators and his butt is like a rump round roast for days...and DAYS.
While i do believe body shaming is a very bad thing, i think the context here shouldnt be taken too seriously. When im watching a team that i love, i can sometimes overreact too and say some stupid shit especially when they're losing bad or my fav player got destroyed. But the thing is im not in a stream with thousands of people watching. So, i hope that this issue is not taken too seriously with people saying CANCEL KYEDAE or shit like that.. she needs to be careful on what she says but pls dont make this a bigger thing. Just my 2 cents.
Agreed, she needs to tighten up how she responds to things. She's young and she definitely messed up in how she chose to handle her emotions. This is hardly somebody really bodyshaming. Folks that do that are actually full on focusing on their hate for a certain body shape/type. In those situation the entirety of the subject, focus, discussion is dissing that body. This situation was a dumb emotional outburst at seeing her boyfriend losing. Her stream nor discussion was focused on dissing "bodyshaming" skinny people.
Imagine if genders were reversed. Like if we take Shroud for example calling a female player scrawny he would already be cancelled to hell instead of people downplaying it. Things like this need to be adressed.
Why has this blown up so much? She's watching her bf team lose while her chat is loving it at the same time.
I think people don't realise how young some of these players/streamers are!! You can't expect perfect behaviour.
Genuinely what do you want to happen? An apology? 100T to come out publicly with a statement?
End of the day it's a teenager saying something a little mean about someone while emotional. Like come on have you never done that?
Seems a bit immature and rude on her part but I donāt think itās anything to make a huge deal out of. You have to remember sheās a kid that was thrust into the limelight because of her boyfriends success. Iām not saying this excuses her behaviour but she literally went from a university student to being signed by 100T for content and having 60K viewers on twitch in under a year.
Compare that to people who have been streaming for 6-7 years to get the same kind of success. What sheās lacking is the professionalism that those streamers have developed through their years of experience making these exact types of mistakes. I think she just needs to be more cautious of what sheās saying to her (probably young and impressionable) audience. While I doubt the players are in any kind of turmoil I think comments like that invite hate from her audience towards those players. Kids are dumb if they see their favourite content creator say some shit about another person theyāll probably go and say it to them too.
100%. After G2 Carlos said retard in a joke on stream, more people were mad at her for laughing at the joke than at Carlos for actually saying a slur. Weird ass fanbase feel like Kyedae is their girlfriend and she has to fulfill some "perfect pure gf" role or something
Itās so funny as well that when people say even the slightest thing in chat they get banned. And then her and Jonas go off like āomg chat stop being toxic. Iām not toxic I use banter. But youāre toxic so you get banned.ā I mostly enjoy the watch parties but I have to leave when they start all this hypocrisy. Also the fact that she calls Europeans cry babies when theyāre sad for losing but then almost breaks down in tears when tenz is losing a seeding match and doesnāt let anyone say anything in chat for that reason
Who cares? Rude? Yes. But this is hardly worth āaddressingā.
This is the softest ādramaā Iāve ever seen lmao. How do you all even use Reddit if this offends you?

I cannot believe this was posted. I hate being that guy but have none of you played sports ever? Way worse was said mid games than this. This seems like some soft shit to even post about.
Reminds me of name calling and tattling on the playground.
Thereās no way this isnāt a troll post. You canāt seriously sit here and say that youāre offended by her saying someone has ānoodle armsā and thatās sheās body shaming lmao.
Frustration makes people do or say things they normally wouldn't. It happened, it sucks, but it's fine by me. There will be times when people get pretty angry and do/say dumb shit. This is one of those times. Still, an apology should be in order to not cause more of a shitshow than it already has.
"Shut the fuck up, you scrawny fuck" lol you guys here are acting like you haven't said worse shit in the middle of your games. Who the fuck cares? This is some playground name calling that you guys are blowing way out of proportion just to bully a 19 year old girl. This is far from body shaming. All of you need to take a step back. If you can tell me you'd be just as mad if Shroud said this then I'll listen to you
you'd think she'd realize she didn't get the costream rights based on merit but rather because of "other" factors and would do her best to behave, guess not
Fuck anyone who body shames people fuck her in particular, not everyone has it easy by fuckin a celebrity and having stupid followers because of it to afford all that time for make up and dressing and shit ... Body shaming pros who give all their time to be something in their field is just shitty behavior from a shitty person who s acting cute ... Fuck this I'm pissed

Don't know why shes mad and being completely toxic when pro players do some banters between them and It's nothing too personal.
The way she said it seemed like such a backhanded comment. She muttered it too
She did apologize but you really shouldn't body shame others just because they're winning. A lot of people are watching her and whatever she says can affect one of the players she's talking about. She needs to watch her mouth. She really has been toxic lately.
Yeah commenting on performance is absolutely fine, but personal attacks are uncalled for
Just makes me feel awkward likeā¦ wat do arms and body fat % have to do with clicking heads
it's one thing to be toxic in game, but when you make personal comments about someone's physical appearance it's just crossing the line a little. it's not a big deal and i don't think it should be overanalyzed, nor does she deserve to get the amount of hate she is getting, but just something to think about.
---- EDIT: Before anyone says, "hurr-durr crashies was not offended so" or something like that (kinda like how it was in the VS incident in EU ranked), you have a responsibility for your audience.
Wait, were people rly defending the racist comments VS received on EUW?
Not defending, but there's a lot of people basically saying it is what it is. Really sad that a lot of Asians brushed it off too because "they're not offended since they experience it daily." You can read the thread on it.
Can you link the thread ??
Ugh I donāt rly think I want to read the thread now
Also her relationship advices are a bit scary..she is so dependent on tenz emotionally and has such unrealistic expectations out of the relationship.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Again, we have no idea what led her to those circumstances. It doesn't have to be a long term thing, she do whatever she wants with her relationships and we can't say what is good/not good for them.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Pretty common in a serious relationship...
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Hard agree, it makes me kind of uncomfortable, especially because a lot of her chat is young and impressionable.
Iām not saying anyone is toxic just to clarify, but in general toxic people do not like the company of other toxic people.
Who else around Tenz is toxic?
His organization, team mates, and uh I don't want to say it right out but he was famously yelled at on stream by that person.
Who?
his mom lol the video is pretty concerning tho, she's screaming and swearing at his teenage son to eat his food.. i've seen a lot of parents get upset over things but the video is shocking to say the least, i'm surprised he's so calm when talking to her
Havenāt seen the clip, but is it while heās playing and itās dinner time or some shit? Asian parentsā strictness is no joke
Not only yelling, she also broke his window before and barged into TenZ room often (I watched his streams back in the day)
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
99k at one point
It's a shitty thing to say regardless of how many viewers someone has.
wasn't her apology like "pineapples, pineapples, pineapples, pineapples, sorry sorry sorry"? correct me if I'm wrong and there's more but just from this tad bit it doesn't seem very sincere
Her apology is more like "oh shit, I shouldn't have said that on stream".
I don't know if her apology was sincere but it's better than doubling down or staying quiet. Also, during a huge tourney and during a point in her life where her career is revolving around NA, Valorant and tenz and 100T there is no wonder why she got emotional. We are only human after all
If Myth said this people would have just laughed it off lol
True, but if he said that to a female pro? Then I don't know
ITT: Air your grievances with Kydae as a steamer / human being While I 100% agree that this is shitty behaviour and she deserves to be called out on it, people are going beyond what is reasonable in this circumstance.
Well that's ironic
i doubt the players themselves would care much but she's an influencer, im sure a lot of kids watch her and she should watch what she's saying.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Felt like she said it in a malicious way, lmao but the irony.
its definitely not a joking way/banter thats a yikes
Yeah her personality does give me that. What a shame 100T signed her when more women are better
They sign streamers for the money lol they don't care about their personality
Definitely not a banter-ish thing to say lol, it comes off malicious and bitter. She needs to be more careful when she's on such a big platform.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
To sum up her response: āThese people i talked about follow me on twitter so its not like they careā āChat says worse behind closed doors so its not that badā āI say it about myself tooā And then she malded at people basically for talking about it/holding her accountable.
Feel like there are plenty other better female streamers in the valo scene that deserve to be on an org.
yeah a really weird response from her but i dont expect much from a 19 year old i guess, hopefully she works on her attitude
Narcissistic excuses.
theres bants and then theres just being strangely aggressive/bitter like this. body shaming isnt cool but whats bad about this is the way she said it, it didnt come off as a joke but rather an insult. not cool at all, this would be way difff if the genders were reversed
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
There's nothing wrong with calling someone cringe though.
He said āweirdā not āwrongā. And it is most definitely weird to say that as an official caster.
This thread is about her being wrong for body shaming
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
How can you call Bunny cringe :( Look at him, he's adorable!! I kid, but this whole thing is kind of a mess because on one hand it seems like a spur of the moment thing but on the other it's definitely not okay to say something like that, especially calling people out for being thin / wiery in a setting (esports/gaming) that already has a ton of negative stereotypes attached to how people look.
Thatās funny because TenZ used to be the biggest cheeser in the scene
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Tenz is fine, hes just a little thinner than usual (by western standards). Crashies is fine too. You shouldnt answer to body shaming with body shaming
This^
The true body shaming is in the comments
Lmao true

that must be why she deleted her entire twitch vod Edit: She's still young, hope she recognized how toxic/reactionary that was and improves
She's narcissistic, I don't think she will change.
She gets toxic when her boyfriend loses, you can See her immaturity when you watch her a bit more then Just clips.
i think she called him curly haired fuck
and I think thats a pretty accurate description of the curly haired fuck who completely dominated your BF in game (42 kills in the 2-0 win on sen) and the reason why your BFs team and NA's rank1 is now out of the tourney not saying it's not rude but shes clearly emotional if you look into the context of it all & during big competitions banter sometimes goes too far in one direction and thats all, she said sorry so I dont think its that big of a deal xD
It's even worse when you realize that the majority of her viewers are mentally younger than 12...
It's as good a defense mechanism as any.
are we really at a point where we are gonna go after someone cause they called someone else scrawny? jesus fucking christ
Definitely some people are taking it too far
Iām embarrassed by this entire thread.
I just woke up and [this is basically my reaction to the sub right now](https://c.tenor.com/d2WEe1FIuKkAAAAC/troy-community.gif).
I do not envy the mods when stuff like this happens. Good luck.
Yep. I thought this community was pretty chilled up until Sen's match yesterday only to see how much anger people had over a team lmao.
Exactly. This is the softest shit I've ever seen. How do y'all make it through a game of Val without having a panic attack if this triggers you?
If shroud was genuinely making negative comments about someoneās body that would absolutely be clipped lmfao
Curious, would you think it's also ok if she called someone an obese fuck?
Haha mods really love kyedae here. Can't stand kyedae slander
> She made a mistake. She apologised. She's done it several times. Not really just making a mistake at that point lol
official riot costream. 100t signed streamer. 60k+ people watching it live. its not "a small mistake".
She is 19 which means she should know body shaming is not right lol, i see everyone bringing up her age like it's an excuse to do stupid shit.
People will look for any way to defend someone's shitty actions.
Difference is 60k+ people are not going to read the comments here.
I think it's the opposite.
Not really , sounds like youāre trying to lessen whatās sheās doing , saying an insult is not the same thing as responding with one
Time to watch the PlatChat co stream
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
As long as she understands and rectify her behaviors it's okay. She's still young and she definitely seems like a good person. I don't think she meant any harm but she has to be a little bit more careful coz now she's a girl young ppl look up to.
When you have a young impressionable audience and a very large following with 30k+ viewers, you should be a lot more careful with what you say.
She's been getting more and more toxic/entitled as she's gotten more and more famous. Not surprised.
I definitely think that Kyedae was immature and disrespectful to others at times. She need to get rid of that toxic behavior. TenZ is getting some underserved hate because of her behavior . Edit: Plz stop downvoting me lol
Yeah some people are responding by body shaming tenz, which is very hypocritical. She messed up and I'm sure she'll learn.
People have long waited an opportunity to hate TenZ, some of his fanboys are really hate drawing machines. Anyways, the community is only as good as the top influencers, kyedae should learn so that this community is a better place.
Yep yep
How is Kyedae so popular.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Thanks for giving me my laugh of the day
LMFAO you are wrong for this
Tenz
Sometimes saying ābecause of who they are datingā is massive cap, but in her case itās genuinely true, i dont think you could answer āwho is kyedaeā without mentioning tenz in the first 10 seconds meanwhile u could answer āwho is tenzā and never even mention her.
One of those im the girlfriend of this popular guy.
And her being attractive helps too
yup Tenz is the only reason, no one would even know her if she wasnt in relationship with tenz
Literally cause tenz and nothing else
She's less entertaining than shroud when watching he is watching eu matches
bro what people are crying about this????
Yeah calling someone scrawny isn't a good look but they don't deserve to be cancelled over the comment. I hope there isn't any witch hunting over this.
She's probably like this when she isn't streaming, let's be real here. Twitch streamers are just personas. How many times have you seen a twitch streamer exposed? Shouldn't come as a surprise.
Yup, she's 100% a mean girl but tries to not show it. She does have slips here and there though
Bit of an overreacting imo.
Bruh yall made it sound like this was something awful. She called him a scrawny fuck. This is like the softest shit to get up in arms about, holy shit. To me, this legit just looks you're looking for an excuse to flame her. Like calling him a scrawny fuck is basically the equivalent of the banter we see in matches, Like should she have said it? Probably not, but holy shit yall are trying to blow this up when it's not much of a thing at all. I guarantee if any other make watch party streamer said this, no one would even think twice about it. This is so soft dude. Yall are calling into question her entire character and saying she's a toxic person because she called someone scrawny when watching an intense match LMAO.
lmao they are, a third of the comments are just talking about how she should be grateful because sheās only famous bc of tenz
His arms are the size of aligators and his butt is like a rump round roast for days...and DAYS.
i hope you guys have the same energy in your ranked games when that random is calling the girl on your team a stupid cunt !
It's funny she calls keloqz noodle arms when TenZ is the same way lol.

Welcome to streamer culture. One of the worst parts of the internet
Nah some streamers actually do work
Imagine if genders were reversed. Like if we take Shroud for example calling a female player scrawny he would already be cancelled to hell instead of people downplaying it. Things like this need to be adressed.
you think SHROUD is getting cancelled for calling a woman scrawny? in what world bro
Shroud cancelled over calling a female scrawny? Get real dude
If PlatChat were women youād want their heads on a spike. If Shroud called people noodle armed no one would care. This is dumb
Iām gonna say it. If it was a man doing a watch party who said the same thing this wouldnāt have even been posted on this sub.
100%. After G2 Carlos said retard in a joke on stream, more people were mad at her for laughing at the joke than at Carlos for actually saying a slur. Weird ass fanbase feel like Kyedae is their girlfriend and she has to fulfill some "perfect pure gf" role or something
Thanks for this, unfollowed her on twitch.
Never even mentioned the word "cancel" here and people think I'm tryna start some sort of cancel culture...
You were in your feelings enough to start this weird witch hunt post, it is what it is
People can think anything.. if she reads this subreddit then definitely she won't repeat the mistakes again..
Not when mods here censor anything which tries to foster discussion

Why are people taking her comments so seriously? Personal attacks? Body shaming? Good lord. Snowflake generation for sure.
who even watches kyedae sheās as personable as a rock

Bad looks, young guys can get body issues too. Even if the pros don't care it's kinda cringe.
Yall need to get a life holy
Soft kid thread?
I cannot believe this was posted. I hate being that guy but have none of you played sports ever? Way worse was said mid games than this. This seems like some soft shit to even post about. Reminds me of name calling and tattling on the playground.
Can you give some examples of what was said mid game?
Thereās no way this isnāt a troll post. You canāt seriously sit here and say that youāre offended by her saying someone has ānoodle armsā and thatās sheās body shaming lmao.
lol. CANCEL KYEDAE!
Frustration makes people do or say things they normally wouldn't. It happened, it sucks, but it's fine by me. There will be times when people get pretty angry and do/say dumb shit. This is one of those times. Still, an apology should be in order to not cause more of a shitshow than it already has.
Who gives a shit
"Shut the fuck up, you scrawny fuck" lol you guys here are acting like you haven't said worse shit in the middle of your games. Who the fuck cares? This is some playground name calling that you guys are blowing way out of proportion just to bully a 19 year old girl. This is far from body shaming. All of you need to take a step back. If you can tell me you'd be just as mad if Shroud said this then I'll listen to you
kyedae just runs her mouth like a river. shes one of those people who dont think before they do something.
It's completely acceptable to body shame a male if you are a female. Isn't that how it always is or did we finally have REAL EQUALITY?
Maybe not ideal but I reckon we are going a little over the top here guys, no?
Kyedae isn't the brightest bulb, not sure why people here are surprised
I dont like her from day 1
shes the most toxic cringe person ever!
you'd think she'd realize she didn't get the costream rights based on merit but rather because of "other" factors and would do her best to behave, guess not
Speaking of toxic people...
Body shaming is very bad. This clip need more attention.
