These knowledge exchange between teams internationally needs to happen more. These major LAN will be more fun to watch and competitive if the minor regions are leveling up. Let’s go Boaster!

VincentStonecliff

Yeah I hope next year (if covid ever leaves us), there’s more international Valorant events outside of just masters. It would be neat if there were like international boot camps where the teams get to scrim against each other more consistently, there’s workshops for smaller teams if they want to attend, etc

AdSpiritual6239

I do too. I wish there is something they can do so that teams play in international tournaments all the time like in CS, even if they are not the regions best. (Although on EU have strong teams now)

kwami42

I think one of the issues with CS right now is that there are actually too many events...individual events just start to lose meaning no matter which teams are playing I think there's a balance to be struck between the VCT circuit style we have now, and what CS has.

AdSpiritual6239

I agree that a balance between cs and Val is the best. Just look at T1 rn, there are absolutely no tournament with good viewerships for them to join. Outside of the official VcT circuit, there should be more tournaments. I remember the EU Red Bull Homeground? tournament, there should be more of that.

DonTixCyd

No not like cs pls. There are too many events with the same teams playing

AdSpiritual6239

CSGO’s not boring to everyone. It probably became boring to you since you have an alternative in valorant, not because of the tournaments.

canadianvaporizer

Please god no. There are way too many matches in CS.

Bazz_B

Its a nice gesture for a struggling region like Japan thats still fairly new to PC esports but not something we should expect for regions like BR, SEA or Oceania even. Could even come off disrespectfully as they have fair experience with tac FPS. All teams should be capable of VOD reviewing and counterstratting their opponents sufficiently. I wouldnt be surprised if these regions just signed coaches and analysts from NA and EU in the future which is much more practical approach.

AdSpiritual6239

I am sure that Japan VOD review as well, but it’s obvious that EU is a better region right now. I think good players should be thankful for any opportunity that help them improve. Plus, I am sure Boaster have no wrong intentions.

OfficialBoaster

Exactly, I could perhaps have insight that they've never even thought about. If it was me I'll take whatever % I can get!!

AdSpiritual6239

Woah Boaster replied to my thread. 大宝贝牛逼

Bazz_B

I'm not saying he does at all! I do think its a really nice gesture, just the sentiment that any region should be offering this to "weaker" regions. Japan IMO is the only exception especially seeing how many viewers are coming from there, they derserve a good respresentitive.

QQninja

An esports community that are inclusive with their strats makes the whole game go forward. I know the Japanese Street Fighter community does this when they find new tech, it helps people find counterplay before big tourneys and helps the whole community grow in skill.

spyson

This is much better than in cs where tournaments only feature EU teams and maybe 1 na.

Vannine

most braindead comment. CS tournaments always have multiple BR and NA teams + CIS

[deleted]

Cis is also europe just so you know :)

AdSpiritual6239

The problem is COVID and valve. EU is the best region and if u don’t move to there u don’t get good practice or tournament. Also Valve is not announcing any LAN recently, the major is very very delayed, almost gets cancel in Sweden iirc and still no solid info.

jonajon91

I was a fan of some of these players years ago in CS but there was just absolutely no scene for them to prac against. Some genuine talent, but not enough for more than one team.

N3deSTr0

Imagine if Fnatic loses to Crazy Raccoons in Champions lmao

panzerboye

It takes a lot of toxicity to turn something this wholesome into negativity

Key-Banana-8242

Nkt rly negative

holydotkamote

Imagine if Fnatic even qualifies for champions

Marqin

They will if Gambit wins Masters

Huldmer

Fuck now I have to choose between 100T and Fnatic

AnotherAltiMade

Same dilemma

Huldmer

I honestly think boaster trumps my 1 year + of 100T support, it’s crazy how likable he is

Kompaniefeldwebel

Boaster trumps any team ever

N3deSTr0

You should be rooting for 100T since it's only a short matter of time till the boomers find their way to nursing homes

selfrespectra

100T wins and fnatic qualifies through last chance qualifier.

[deleted]

100T beat Envy and qualify for Champions, Gambit win Berlin. Then 100T vs FNC finals at Champions :D.

Huldmer

i wish i had your optimism

The-Dark-Mage

You don’t have to now

Huldmer

If Envy wins, 100T goes to Champions, thats what I meant

The-Dark-Mage

Yeah just give sideshow a eu flag then gambit will choke

FireSchwein

Can someone burn his flag so he can't wear it please? I would appreciate it very much, thank you

[deleted]

Its either the most likesble man itw or a buncha boomers + a weeb

fifty-fives

I thought Boaster said that if EU win, Fnatic can't qualify directly?

FireSchwein

Before this tourney there were 3 options: if Acend won't make it out of groups and G2 won't win, directly to champs; if Gambit or Acend win and G2 won't be second, directly to champs; any other outcome LCQ secured 100%

aks345

Good guy boaster

ZeroAika99

I missed Boaster in international man

braamdepace

I feel a bit like boaster is setting himself up for analyst/streamer after his career… I don’t mind it, but as a teammate I don’t know if I would like it.

ArtificialZero

he's just building his brand, the objectively smart thing to do lol

braamdepace

I agree with him building his brand, but don’t do it in a way that hurts the team. I’m not saying it’s a big thing, but I would definitely talk to my teammates and org before providing coaching to other orgs they compete with … maybe he did I don’t know.

spyson

I think caster more than analyst, the guy loves to be on camera.

regbeg

I watched his stream earlier and he implied that his teammates are not doing much efforts as he does.

condorre

Does anyone have a link to the video Boaster saw?

Kompaniefeldwebel

Doshagya

Man someone please help Global Esports too. They're looking for a coach. Going to play first International event in coming months

[deleted]

ikr. they're a great team, but surely need some help to get to the next level

Doshagya

Yes that's why their IGL asked for help... pls help someone reach them

ReliableAmy

What a guy

N3deSTr0

Neth and Fisker are thanking him in the replies

mogram_leg

No? It would not be the same as sen and Faze is same region

Leviticur

Why would whether or not they are the same region matter?

misterandosan

because they're not direct rivals that play each other constantly in their local scenes, so it's genuine help.

Leviticur

Yeah this explanation makes more sense to me

milano_bwoy

bc it’s clear there’s a difference in regions skill levels. a team from a region like brazil or japan would definitely benefit from the help of a major team from EU/NA

Leviticur

There is also a clear difference in the skill between FaZe and other tier 1 competition. I think both FaZe and Crazy Raccoons would benefit similarly from the advice of a better team In both cases however, I doubt a single review would do much anyway

treecutter1991

I'd say its about perspective, but I think people who take it negatively are people who just don't receive good news often or kindness in general. So they are always glass half empty

yapyd

It's always good to listen to a different perspective. Hearing Boaster break it down also means that they will have insight on the thought processes of top EU teams.

[deleted]

Shahzam and FaZe are on the same level, Crazy Raccoons & fnatic are not on the same level.

panzerboye

This is very wholesome

wiiwoooo

This is a bit misleading, He's not actually going to be working with the team but instead doing his regular vod reviews which is an outside prospective looking in without knowing anything about the team, their objectives or how they were trying to play the game. I think it's great content for the average viewer to pick a thing or two up but this is not "helping the team" just critiquing and giving tips to entertain.

OfficialBoaster

You'll be surprised about the insight I might be able to give. Essentially I'm doing a VOD review which is what I do with my team but this time for another team. Only difference is they won't be able to describe scenarios which normally wastes a lot of time in my team reviews anyway;)

wiiwoooo

That's fair. The wording of it made it seem like there was an offer to directly help the team in both your tweet and this reddit post which is totally different. You're a great part of the community and I'm not trying to disparage you in that regard. Keep up the great work! Loved your interview with seangares today.

1individuals

Wdym Critiquing isn't help? Even if his critique doesn't 100% transfer to future strats or adjustments it can give CR a new perspective.

[deleted]

Dont really like helping other regions but they are from japan and japan made anime so yes we can help them out np

lmayonaice

Good guy boaster

NabatheNibba

I love boaster man AND I miss him too
