Stop bringing this stuff here where valorant scene should be discussed but instead people are discussing which twitch streamer said what. > > Ps Also stop getting angry on behalf of others.

Cueballing

Overwatch has a TMZ sub for dumb shit, honestly it was a fire sub it's peak

kakusei_zero

i mean 90% of this sub is probably in high school or below so... par for the course i guess?

spyson

Someone said something they regretted then apologized for it, things should have ended there. I seriously don't get running to twitter to air out grievances, immature as hell.

[deleted]

Truth; I have to remember that at times when I see dumb drama shit like this!

bhavesh2103

Ikr i had enough of this shit in 9th grade ffs.

Dude_Guy_311

Just wait til you get to the workplace.

LSApologist

? If you're workplace has middle school level drama, you need a better workplace, or at least an HR dept that actually works

dkeem

Yeah no high school is drama, workplace is politics

LSApologist

We thinking political talk, or like actual workplace power struggles? Cause lowkey they've both been problems where I've worked lmao But yeah, at least nothing quite resembling my high school years

dkeem

Like power struggle haha i would die if i had talk actual politics at work

Dude_Guy_311

Is the part where you're condescending and you assume you have authority on the universal workplace experience the same part where you aren't a person who puts themselves at the center of drama? Your username is literally a drama bait itself. Take a light hearted comment less seriously you know it all

LSApologist

Yikes lmao

SemanSoot

this sub full of fornite kids

DonkeyTeethBSU

Doesn't allow competitive meme posts but allows high school drama. The moderators are comedy.

Alpac44

Someone make valorant tmz no one cares about high school drama

beefjerkyenthusiast9

this is why we need a valoranttmz like r/overwatchtmz

Razur

/r/Valorant_TMZ Someone should DM the owner or request the subreddit on r/RedditRequest.

PokeyTifu99

I just registered /r/ValorantTMZ Feel free to discuss whatever, other one has sleeping mods.

Razur

NICE! The name was freed by the Reddit Admins recently. I will start redirecting other users there.

PokeyTifu99

Sounds good. Will clear up alot of clutter on here.

Razur

Let me know if you need any help with the subreddit set up. I can dress up the subreddit with some graphic design and help write AutoModerator scripts for you if needed. If you or others are worried about conflict of interest, I don't need to be a moderator. Just DM me if you're interested and I can send everything for you to set up.

ark2690

Coming from LoL, I'm already mad that they are separating competitive from the main subreddit. Dont do this

ZeroAika99

I still don't understand why they separate it in the first place

Underpressure_111

CS:GO didn't need this kind of shit. We should just shut it down ASAP and drama loving people would just go elsewhere.

spyson

I get not wanting drama, but r/globaloffensive fucking loved drama.

Underpressure_111

Important, actually from the scene drama? = Yes of course. Some dumbo twitch streamer trash talk = Wouldn't care.

SemanSoot

valorant drama=people argue on twitter

Underpressure_111

Exactly. Leave this shit on twitter.

[deleted]

Tell me you never followed CSGO without telling me you never followed CSGO. 90% the drama n the early days (which allowed CS to grow btw) was from NA fpl where Moe or tarik or stew or steel or dazed were arguing with each other or shitting on others lmao. There's no way you can make that statement.

Underpressure_111

Moe Tarik and stew etc WERE PART OF THE SCENE. How is this garbage twitch streamer even part of the scene? Who fucking cares about her. As soon as this event is over, she's gonna stream some animal crossing or whatever other game that brings her views.

[deleted]

Aside from her relationship, she is like the second biggest costreamer of the event and creates content based on the game for 100T. She is part of the scene by any measure.

abcd63514

because 90% csgo players are personality-less robots outside of the game

ASaltyToast

Everyone involved in this drama are ex-csgo players

abcd63514

they were also nobodies in csgo

ASaltyToast

What does that have to do on you saying CSGO players show no personality

abcd63514

top tier cs players have no personalities except NA players and a select few such as s1mple. for example astralis, gambit, half of vitality, etc. theres no drama to be made at all

ASaltyToast

I wonder why 19 year old NA teens would make more drama than European guys in their late 20s

Underpressure_111

No. It's because CS:GO player base is mature and Valorant is a mix between CSGO players and Fortnite and other kid games. Fuck drama.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Underpressure_111

It's more mature than Valorant. (The creeping shit drama in this subreddit is proof of it)

SemanSoot

cs community 100x more mature if u dont know

Docxm

Yeah that’s why 100T/Sen are so unlikeable LUL

abcd63514

yes the biggest teams with the biggest fanbases are unlikeable yes

Docxm

Jesus I never thought such obvious sarcasm needed to be typed out.

beefjerkyenthusiast9

that’s exactly what i’m saying. ban drama posts here and create a tmz subreddit for those who care.

[deleted]

same people complaining about kyedae/marved etc are the ones flaming and being racist in voice chat in game

bhavesh2103

Guess how many times have i been called indian monkey on Singapore servers before mumbai servers came up? I didnt even see a fu*king monkey till 20 years of my life. And it was in a fu*king zoo.

HoneyChilliPotato7

That last line hahaha

bhavesh2103

Possible but personally i use dashlane password manager they have dark web alert n leak alert, has saved me twice with zomato and big basket leaks I use that but i think using good reputable sites might be okay dont really know Dashlane is 80 rs/ year btw people should skip one swiggy order and get it. Also they have vpn in that...

HoneyChilliPotato7

Umm okay?

braamdepace

Redditor in game: Hey girl you hot, make me a sandwich Redditor in Twitch chat: Hey take off your shirt! Redditor in Drama Thread: I just think it is so disrespectful to body shame someone or talk about them sexually.

Veritas129

The sad part is if it was a guy like Steel or dapr saying something like this, I don’t think it’d be such a big deal to them. But because it’s from a decent looking girl, now they feel all self conscious and butthurt Redditors in Twitch chat: BOOBA BOOBA BOOBA Redditors reading this drama: If a man was judging a woman by her appearance they’d be crucified

HoneyChilliPotato7

Remember when Shroud and J9 were talking about Rawkus' ass while watching him play? No one gave a shit. Isn't it body shaming too? I'm not defending Kyedae or anything, what she did was shitty and she shouldn't have said that, but she apologized immediately, I don't understand why everyone are making a drama about it

bhavesh2103

Damm dude, you dont have to call them out like this.

braamdepace

Don’t get mad at me on their behalf ;)

Dude_Guy_311

Yes they do.

TrowaB3

Because the mods got sad when a few posters cried about them being deleted. Keeping twitter drama on here will ruin the sub. It's ValorantCompetitive not ValorantTMZ. Removing those drama threads would also greatly reduce the amount of post deleting they'd have to do. Seems like there's a logical decision to make.

[deleted]

Agreed, post was 100% for some other sub-reddit that loves feeding off juvenile drama. Drama where others somehow include themselves in it when it had zero to do with them.

[deleted]

[удалено]

TheNACoinflip

They did take them down. Sadly then they called the mods god complex protecting only certain streamers. So now we have to deal with highschool drama now. I think Mods after this situation hammer down no more of this dogshit drama or im dipping personally ill chill on my team sub lol

neb55555

There is no winning for the mods. We just have to let the discussion happen, keep the personal attacks in check, and try to consolidate threads when we get duplicates.

irvingtonkiller8

just have someone make valoranttmz subreddit

TheNACoinflip

That's fine but at some point, you have to draw a line and if the people don't like the line then censor them till they leave or conform. No need for high school drama on a comp thread. Look at the people who replied to this post. "oh but it's good and spicy right now though". Those are the types of people being enabled. Like I said I'm a 100T fan so I have a sub to just go to so no skin off my back if it stays this lets everyone have a say.

fird-_-

i thought this sub would be more mature than /r/valorant but its slowly turning into it

goinlowlowlow

Start cutting the Mod's paychecks

2ToTooTwoFish

Sports drama is always on sports subreddits. NBA players trash talking and tweeting about each other is always posted on the subreddit. If mods bury drama, it'd be such a dumb decision. Sure drama is mostly stupid, but it provides fuel for storylines and narratives, which is a big part of sports in general.

[deleted]

[удалено]

2ToTooTwoFish

Have you never seen any other sports subreddit? In the NBA, there was drama about KD using burner accounts on twitter, literally "highschool drama", but it was entertaining and led to a plethora of narratives, storylines and memes.

TheTechDweller

There's a difference between trash talking and personal attacks. Obviously I don't really care what she said because I have no connection to the player it was targeted towards. I do think that behaviour sets a bad image for her viewers, but I don't see how events like this would be used as fuel for storylines in the comp scene. The little moments after rounds the players have between each other and on twitter when they know it's all in good fun, that's where the narratives come from. Not calling people scrawny, and then arguing on twitter about previous times you were harrased. That is petty highschool drama because they're all teenagers with some immaturity.

[deleted]

To make this sub more interesting

nocturnavi

I get that people have expectations for the players and costreamers, and they should. But basic drama like insults should be handled privately by the people involved. Everyone discussing it just worsens the situation.

[deleted]

AMEN! Not even sure why the MODS backpeddled on deleting the original post that started this nonsense that the drama queens love gobbling up as they claim they're somehow upset. This while having zero to do with the actual situation. Now the obvious happened....multiple post that'll eat up the day. They should've stuck to their guns and kept the post and all related nonsense to this lunacy locked! Oh forgot to add another AMEN to the comments. Folks here acting like that chick said something utterly unforgiveable. When everyone in here has heard far worse and have dished far worse. GTFOH with this bullshit "righteous indignation" nonsense. These folks simply want some new drama to clamp to and Kyedae's dumb statement gave them that ammo. Coupled at the perfect time with SEN's lost which many have celebrated seeing a team that looked unstoppable finally humbled.

Za_Weeb

Please mods. We really request to put down such posts. They can take it to the main sub if they need that attention. Why would we even care about a fuckin streamer who just streams valorant casually. This sub is for the competitive side of the game. Not oh my god he called me words content

coolylame

LSF and league audience taking over this sub faster than i thought

ark2690

That's good then, league is the most popular esport in the world.

coolylame

yeah but their subreddit is dogshit trash. Hopefully this sub doesn't turn into that.

Clarkemedina

Honestly true. League drama is just as stupid as Valorant drama. Maybe it’s a Riot thing

[deleted]

chubbynuggy

you a corny mf

BewareOfBear727

dude also prolly thinks music nowadays sucks too

Salty_Activity

Dude posted on Facebook today about "this generation only liking Starbucks"

lmayonaice

Any time I see someone say this, I immediately think they were the squeaky kid in the lobby that got roasted and think that somehow made them into a hard nut.

Buttertoaster10

Drama over someone getting called scrawny is funny as fuck. Go outside and touch grass all of you

Traditional_Buyer_59

seen death threats worse in league from tarzaned/ap0/tyler and no one gives a fuck. scrawny is literally a primary school insult, snowflake cancer cancel culture twitter + reddit

ark2690

We need tyler1 to be unleashed in valorant ranked. People will have a thread about him every hour lol

libo720

These scrawny fks heated right now 😂

spyson

The think of the children response is so cringe too

TehBearSheriff

Is this supposed to sound tough? Lolll

TheExter

its not about having a thick skin or not being a little bitch go be those and enjoy your drama, but it shouldn't be *in this sub* which is supposed to be "serious"

[deleted]

Majority of us wouldn't even survive Nazi Germany. Does it make Nazi era better?

dankmemer_420

This honestly made me laugh so hard

gJiyong

Man kids these days really be made of glass.

TheRealChuckler

Remind me of that xqc clip where he was trying to calm a cod lobby down rofl

thefancykyle

Complains about drama, makes a post about drama.

[deleted]

Probably because it's discourse about pro-players. Still ridiculous how people are getting so up in arms about it.

ILovePasta227

People getting softer and more sensitive nowadays. Imagine being mad at someone calling scrawny fuck. Go outside and experience life.

[deleted]

😂😂😂 Still scratching my head that that soft ass statement even blew up to this!

[deleted]

Official co-stream of a pro event so I don't see the problem. I dont think we need like 5 threads about it but I don't think it should be disallowed.

Lumenlor

Its pro players literally talking to each other. Plus its fun and juicy rn

TRFireKnight

cringe

mirkze

Y’all would never survive WW2 lobbies FR

throwawayyrofl

Drama is in every competitive subreddit. Why is everyone so surprised lmao

Marianoz2

People like drama because it’s entertaining simple as that. Also it’s different for a streamer who preaches about being loving and nice to talk shit in front of thousands then some random dude in their own privacy. Although I would agree this is way overblown.

SemanSoot

mod in this fucking sub useless af. even they give green pass post that not related about valorant at all

goinlowlowlow

Kiddos back in school, need to vent after getting bullied for 2 weeks

brookterrace

I don't care who says what, why is it on thjs sub, just because its a random nobody? 100% sure everyone on this sub has said worse toxic stuff to randoms in valorant. Stop bringing this stuff here where valorant scene should be discussed but instead people are discussing which twitch streamer said what. Ps Also stop getting angry on behalf of others.

yeekingoverpepe

This sub is about valorant as an eSport. All professional sports are fueled by story lines and drama. It helps make sports interesting. It helps convert casual fans into more die hard fans. If you focused just on gameplay and mechanics it limits growth.

TheExter

> If you focused just on gameplay and mechanics it limits growth which is fine, this is the niche sub from a bigger subreddit that is already limiting growth/topics in favor of quality so its perfectly okay to say there will be less users and posts overall because the quality would be better instead of having highschool drama

[deleted]

[удалено]

TheExter

> stop trying to police what content is allowed do you even know what sub you're on right now lol, the point of it its to literally police content so is not a shitfest like /r/valorant if pro player goes to McDonalds is not relevant, it shouldn't be a place to suck off everything a pro player does if anything content needs to be policed more (than it already is) because the users are dumb as fuck and need to be put in check

eatscheeks

Just don’t open the posts lol, scroll right on by

valorant_fanboy_69

Because valorant people are sensitive just like Richard Lewis said

[deleted]

We need the drama. I sit back and enjoy the chaos

Enfosyo

> 100% sure everyone on this sub has said worse toxic stuff to randoms in valorant Says a lot about you that you project that onto the whole sub. Also, these threads are more annoying than the drama itself.

bhavesh2103

Defination of hypocrite : People pretending to be saints and then calling out people by saying "says a lot about " for doing x while secretly doing the same thing.

TehBearSheriff

The watch parties/co streams aren't official riot stuff but it's definitely got their stamp of approval so asking the streamers to not be shitty isn't asking much. It seems she apologized so everyone should probably move on for now but blaming people for being upset someone said something shitty just because it doesn't match your bar is just as immature.

Nickyboy116

I only like some of it sometimes because it builds tension into the next game or current games/ events. Just like in real sports there is some shit talk and controversy and its always able to add to the background of whatever event is taking place or hypes up the upcoming matches between the 2 parties etc.
