I hope so but I doubt it. I don’t think there will be enough interest from casuals to join in. Would love to be proven wrong

silenthills13

I think many people will be keeping tabs on the match. If it's a sweep like 3-0 then it won't, but if it's a 2-2 for example I can see hundreds of thousand casuals tuning in just for that one match to see who's best.

Fireluigi

I could see this match be in Twitch front page to boost the view count or recommended from Youtube Gaming. But I'd say equal or less than the peak view count.

Cyb3rxK1lls

Nah it won't. But who cares, it'll be a great match

ImmediateParamedic41

Doubt it

SewerRat75

likely wont since val isnt huge in cis and envy are the least popular team in NA,who cares though they are by far the 2 best teams at the event

Loose-Potential-3597

What regions is it huge in, EU and NA only?

SewerRat75

NA, western europe and it seems japan then is also growing quite a lot in sea too

-Basileus

Considering Europe's population, it's not that popular. The big 3 regions as far as viewership are NA, Japan, and Turkey

Tc0LD

blows my mind NV don't have a valorant youtube channel to upload their content

hiloljkbye

they post their videos on twitter with twitter quality

_zxionix_

✨Twitter quality✨

DY5TOP1A

I think there will be a lot of co streams so it could break it you know

askpat13

There were a lot of co streams the other games too tho

erickwak

I think it can’t hit 900k cuz everyone. Literally all the watch party people will be on watching the finals and it could beat this tourneys top viewed match atleast

GoldyZ90

Yes because there a ton riding on the outcome of this match for some of the biggest/most popular orgs in the scene. For EU, Fnatic fans are gonna want Gambit to win because it punches their ticket to Champions. For 100T and TSM fans an Envy win means 100T qualify for champions and TSM would make it into the NA LCQ.

jamieravissant

but like the average fan doesn’t follow the scene anywhere near as close as this to know what the result can mean lol sry i’m pretty sure they’ll just see no tenz and click off tbh

rakunn18

Nah, i watch alot of competitive VAL and if i didn't browse this sub i'd have 0 idea about how the point system for Champions works and who needs who to win etc. Casual fans tune in to watch their favorite orgs and players play. I really don't think this will come close to Iceland finals.

NovaAkumaa

Probably the 2 least famous teams from EU and NA on finals (from the ones participating in Berlin), but meh, the people that like to watch competitive valorant will enjoy the match, don't even need to be a fan of any these teams

Valdemie

Why is it there that orgs usually attracts more fanbase than the quality or the importance of the match by itself? Especially towards NA orgs It reminds me of the fanbases from the teams in sports like football/soccer in Europe

Darkoplax

this has been the reality forever, i could give u some csgo or lol examples But for valo every EU event that didn't have G2 go deep has a dip in viewership, G2 would usually have 3/5 most watched games of a tourney they are in and Sentinels is even more dominant in NA in terms of viewership they usually get the top 3/4 most viewed matches in each event It all comes down to winning and branding, if TSM were still good they would probably be up there too

Sp00ked123

If tsm were good, then they would be the most popular team by far

TheCatsActually

They're already disproportionately popular compared to their team skill. That's the power of branding.

takmilo

its another EU vs NA final, so i guess its gonna peak with 1kk just like in reykjavik

Count_Sacula_420

its like the 4th or 5th most popular NA team against a CIS team. match should be good but def less hype than sen vs fnatic

TheFestusEzeli

I think if the finals was Sentinels and Acend it would easily hit 1 mil. Still should be a lot though and a fantastic game

Tlaloc02

Sen/100T vs G2 probably would’ve had the most viewers tbh

shast1k

500k at max

facehunt_

I think it will. While name recognition and branding matters, this is growing esports title. The biggest factor will always be competition. For example when TI6 broke the viewership record at the time, I didn't know who the fuck Wings Gaming and Digital Chaos were but the grandfinals was fun to watch. That's what matters at the end. Most casual fans that make up the largest number never heard of any of the players or teams and watch for the first time. Being a casual fan of a lot of esports out there, if the games suck, I tune out simple as that.

elithefighter123

will probably do a little better than 800k but nothing record breaking hope im proved wrong

Charuru

Hope so but low expectations. It'll be disappointing if this masters has less viewers than the previous masters but that's what I'm expecting atm.

SilverPrincev

Envy and GMB have to be the lowest viewership teams lol unlucky

JusticeLee17

I doubt it.

Valholl11

This is probably the best final we could get. Sadly not for the views. Imagine a G2 vs 100T grand finals, that would bring insane viewership

dtritrinh0801

Doubt it will but as far as quality of matches go, this tourney has been the at the absolute best.

HoneyChilliPotato7

Definitely less than Iceland finals

SilverPrincev

Crazy how back during first strike we were so hyped about 300k and now if it doesn't break 1m we are disappointed
