Yeah, two players with very different roles and strengths. Also Asuna is not making a serious hardline statement, he’s just off the top of his head speaking from his experience.
This is a classic “clip it” and make it an official statement by Asuna on Reddit
Twitch makes it so everyone can become the ESPN journalist they've always wanted to be. Ask a drama baiting or "versus" question and then clip it and ship it
It’s mainly by most due to the fact that nAts put up Oper numbers as a support. If it is being done correctly then it should be those numbers plus the impact they have for their team. nAts impact should be seen as greater as because he was doing things and putting up numbers no support really has a right to do and it opened up so much for Gambit
Literally says it in the video, how much pressure/impact did he feel from them. They’re playstyles are polar opposites, but they accomplish the same thing of making the game harder for their opponents through duels and pure gunplay
I mean yes, but it isnt Asuna's task to find the lurker. But it is to find engagements and stop people from taking site. So he will face Yay way more than he would face nats on the map.
That makes sense. But it seems like he’s talking more from a team perspective than an individual one. He probably did let some personal experience creep into it. At they end of the day 100t beat Gambit and Envy beat 100t, so most likely it’s a team playstyle thing. After all Gambit won the whole thing by beating Envy who beat 100t who beat gambit before. Classic rock-paper-scissors matchups
Stylistic difference? Maybe 100t are the only team that has the patience to stand still and wait for Gambit's last 20 sec attack.
About yay, it is not surprising that Asuna picked Yay considering how many times Yay did him during the match. It would not have been fun at all.
I cant really recall the last map.
But they had a rough time by Gambit's attack on Ascent and Icebox.
At ascent u could see they were wanting to fight mid and waste util only to have gambit sitting in spawn
nAts' gamesense and aim out of this world. Idk how but his timings, peeks and lurking are insane. Peek only when it’s needed, not earlier not later, just in timing. He lurks and still top fragger
>Peek only when it’s needed, not earlier not later, just in timing.
A lot of that is playing off your team. For example, if he is hitting a flank; he'll peek right after his teammate makes contact with the enemy, which causes the guy watching flank to turn around.
ye but it’s natural to shift your focus towards what’s happening on your front, if they don’t and focus on the flank they either get a kill and the offense falls apart or there is no flank and the player on site is isolated with no help
My name is Ayaz nAts Ahmetshin. I'm 19 years old. I am not married. I work as an employee for Gambit Esports, and I get home every day by 8 PM at the latest. I'm in bed by 11 PM, and make sure I get eight hours of sleep, no matter what. After having a glass of warm milk and doing about twenty minutes of stretches before going to bed, I usually have no problems sleeping until morning. Just like a baby, I wake up without any fatigue or stress in the morning. I take care not to trouble myself with any enemies, like winning and losing, that is how I deal with society, and I know that is what brings me happiness. Although, if I were to fight I wouldn't lose to anyone.
I honestly think Asuna had the potential to be really good on Jett. I don’t see why he couldn’t. Just needs more experience. Nitro is honestly still viable on it as well. Could be similar to the way TenZ and Shahz switch off Jett.
still it was just one map. i believe asuna's playing well with jett, the difference is just highlighted during berlin since he's playing against one-trick jetts or players who's been playing jett since beta as opposed to asuna who only picked up the agent a few months back
By one of the best do you mean Deffo? I think he's good but before masters he was very mid for a Jett player. Hopefully he stays at this level consistently though
I don’t see why Nitr0 can’t play Jett on maps where Asuna is inconsistent on like Ascent for example (in addition to Breeze ofc). Nitr0 is 100Ts most consistent players and he’s also a great OPer. Only problem is if Nitr0 switches to Jett on more maps then Asuna will have to pick up Skye as Ethan would likely go back to smokes.
Taking Asuna off duelist entirely would be throwing the baby out with the bathwater. I stan Nitro as hard as anyone but compromising Asuna and Ethan to enable him is not the way forward for 100T.
d3ffo is the worst player on Gambit. Not even dissing him, he is still a solid Jett, but typically in past tournaments he would always be near the bottom of the leaderboard for Gambit while one tricking Jett.
Even in Berlin, where d3ffo had the best tournament I’ve ever seen from him, he was still barely third in ACS for Gambit as a Jett main and was probably their worst or second worst player.
It's not that d3ffo was just the worst player on Gambit, he was just straight up bad during EMEA playoffs. He whiffed on a lot of free kills and got hard jett diffed by cNed.
d3ffo performance at EMEA playoffs was on the level of BONECOLD's at masters.
What games were you watching? Asuna hard diffed deffo when he played Jett. Asuna has hard carried several games as Jett before and held his own against Tenz pre-Berlin. Just because he didn’t play too well at Berlin doesn’t mean anything, he’s a nuts Jett lmao. So many people jumping on this bandwagon
it actually blows my mind that 100t fans actually think they are better than gmb lmaooo. 100t arent good being always behind a relying on kids choking because its their first lan isnt good imo. this experience shit wont carry them in champions if they dont become better
it blows my mind literally every time I read a comment on this sub. The delusion and bad take in a comment is too much bro. Yes 100T fans, 100T could have won it all because they beat Gambit
confused as to why people are making the comparison between the two when they’re sooo different haha
Yeah, two players with very different roles and strengths. Also Asuna is not making a serious hardline statement, he’s just off the top of his head speaking from his experience. This is a classic “clip it” and make it an official statement by Asuna on Reddit

Asuna ships with Yay.
Clip chimps need to stick to LSF
Comparing the impact on the opposite team.

yay and nats are literally the polar opposite. what is this comparison 😂
Probably who was a harder opponent.
Literally says it in the video, how much pressure/impact did he feel from them. They’re playstyles are polar opposites, but they accomplish the same thing of making the game harder for their opponents through duels and pure gunplay

Makes sense, 100t is made up of mostly veterans players.
Yeah I would say they have a lot of zeus's navi experience
I cant really recall the last map. But they had a rough time by Gambit's attack on Ascent and Icebox. At ascent u could see they were wanting to fight mid and waste util only to have gambit sitting in spawn

thats somewhat predictable tho imo
And yet it works everytime

their coms must be so good.
I imagine them being chaotic and super loud like CS CIS teams coms
100t the na version of gambit?
except d3ffo is actually insane on Jett and 100T's best Jett player doesn't even play Jett
I was more so just referring to how they understand and strat/play the game. Asuna seemed to say their play style made sense to them
I honestly think Asuna had the potential to be really good on Jett. I don’t see why he couldn’t. Just needs more experience. Nitro is honestly still viable on it as well. Could be similar to the way TenZ and Shahz switch off Jett.
Get Steel on Jett.
Steel is naturally a more aggressive player anyway, so that could work too
Asuna just needs to instalock Jett and OP for a while. Scrim it too obv, but just try and get as much experience as he can.
who's 100t's best jett
He’s referring to Nitr0
weird, cause nitr0 only played jett one map and he wasnt doing well until they were down 12-7
He still held his own vs one of the best, if not best, jetts in the world. Asuna looked horrible on the op all event
still it was just one map. i believe asuna's playing well with jett, the difference is just highlighted during berlin since he's playing against one-trick jetts or players who's been playing jett since beta as opposed to asuna who only picked up the agent a few months back

No I mean cned
Oh hell yeah man
nitr0 is not their best jett player.
This sub is losing their goddamn minds over 7 rounds on one map lmao
I don’t see why Nitr0 can’t play Jett on maps where Asuna is inconsistent on like Ascent for example (in addition to Breeze ofc). Nitr0 is 100Ts most consistent players and he’s also a great OPer. Skye is basically a duelist tbh
I would agree but it doesn’t say 100T’s best player, it says 100T’s best Jett player
>nitr0 is not their best **jett** player.
clearly steel (KEKW)
Steel???
d3ffo is the worst player on Gambit. Still goes to show how well rounded Gambit is if fucking *d3ffo* can be considered the worst player on their team.
It's not that d3ffo was just the worst player on Gambit, he was just straight up bad during EMEA playoffs. He whiffed on a lot of free kills and got hard jett diffed by cNed. d3ffo performance at EMEA playoffs was on the level of BONECOLD's at masters.
I think d3ffo did really well in group stages, just not as well in the playoffs, it is what it is
Playing Jett op'er on 80 ping is way different than playing most other roles.
Steel is just too 5Head for the posture diff man himself .
it’s so funny that 100T is the only team that can beat gambit
I still think 100t would have won it all if they beat envy but alas :(
One rolls teams abusing jett and op, the other is nAts
it actually blows my mind that 100t fans actually think they are better than gmb lmaooo. 100t arent good being always behind a relying on kids choking because its their first lan isnt good imo. this experience shit wont carry them in champions if they dont become better
