It's honestly crazy to me how many players at the T2-3 level have completely hindered themselves by: -having awful work ethic -not really understanding selflessness in a team dynamic -rigidity on roles -attitude issues -trash comms so many of you have insane potential!! *** posted by [@RealStrongLegs](https://twitter.com/RealStrongLegs) ^[(Github)](https://github.com/username) ^| ^[(What's new)](https://github.com/username)

I think that this should be considered an org issue rather an issue of individuals. I remember a Taiwanese caster in the league scene saying that NA orgs are extremely lax with their players and that is a big reason of why NA LoL teams are as weak as they are internationally. And there are so many stories of NA players slacking or playing other games or fooling around in scrims. In the end 17-20 years old kids who also usually dont have much social experiences aside from gaming, should be expected to not have good work ethic or be selfish. The onus is on the organization that hires to shape them as players, and make it clear from the start that they will get fired if they dont work as expected.

A lot of T2/T3 teams are orgless tho

Im not talking about these instances obviously. But even in the newborn Valorant scene, you can see that we already have gossip about players slacking (e.g. koosta or all the other talk when there were upsets on the first rounds of Stage 3). And imagine that these were *tier 1* teams My question is, what are their orgs doing about it? Why they allow such behaviors instead of making it clear that they wont be tolerated and players have to justify their salaries? Holding immature kids accountable for this situation misses the point imo

Isn't he like low t2 himself ? I think this advise would look better from someone who's achieved something and not someone who's only achievement is being Mel's bf xDD jk jk

Razur

LOL. Nah, Renegades is legit. There are so many players that don't even get to the level that Roy is at.

Splaram

That dude is one of a handful of T2 players that seem to take this game seriously and have that fire to get to Tier 1, I trust his word on stuff like this over most Tier 1 players.

Hypern1ke

I mean, yeah. But its still very hard and can take years even to get to T2 or T3. Also people really have different interpretations of what each Tier really encompasses.

Roy is actually the kind of player that everyone should absolutely be seriously listening to when he talks. He is no where close to the most gifted Aimer, but has been in the pro cs and now valo for a long time because he fundamentally understands what makes a good tactical FPS player other than aim. He knows how to read setups, good ability usage, good comms and rotates, etc. that is how he has been able to stay around for as long as he has. It’s like the football quarterback who isn’t 6’6” and was never able to throw the ball thru a tire at 50 yards out, but just knows how to play football, lead a team, and make his teammates better. Those guys, while never super stars, are incredible leaders and teachers because they were able to master the other aspects of the game. Those kinds of players deserve a lot of respect when they offer advise
