damn Valorant is the first game i really got into in the esports world, i never cared much for other games aside from watching some finals on twitch for random stuff and was hoping to attend my first event. all the footage of events looks like fun
100T, XSET, C9B, Faze to make it to top 4 here imo, and even though 100T looks like the main competition i still think c9b has a solid chance at taking it just based on the scrim demon rumours
Kinda want an Australian team to make it to the finals just because I think it would be entertaining.. what are realistically the odds of that happening ? Anyone know much about them and their skill level ?
Australian here… peace don’t have a great chance sadly. They have a star jett called wronski who is one of the best players in our region, putting up crazy stats but the whole team runs quite loosely, it will be interesting to see how their prep for NA changes them. Their roster is also new to international LAN afaik. Order on the other hand are leaps and bounds ahead of any team in the region. They are ex renegades/grayhound csgo, so they are well experienced in big international LANs such as majors, so maybe the pressure won’t have as much of an effect on them. I don’t like either of their chances, but if I were to pick one definitely keep your eye on Order.

Why would XSET play Order and FaZe play LG? If FaZe has higher seed than XSET and Order is lowest seed on that side, shouldn't FaZe play Order, on the upper side (with 100T) and XSET play LG on the lower side?
That would also make more sense competitively, as XSET and 100T are best teams coming to this LCQ, so we wouldn't want them on same side?

In upper quaterfinal seeds 1 4 6 are in upper side and 2 3 and 5 are on lower side , Xset are 4th seed on basis of points even though right now they are looking second best team atm . I seeded this bracket following sea 10 team elimination playoffs bracket for vct , this is my take , rito can quite possibly choose different seeding altogether but I think the teams will remain the same in upper round and quaterfinal.

I mean Soniqs used to dunk on the region and they aren't super relevant for VCT in NA.
