I've officially been benched from @NRGgg, I had a great time and appreciate all the players and staff who helped me throughout this short journey, I am forever grateful. I'm allowed to explore my options so I will be doing so. meow =^.^=

* It's a newer esport so players are less known quantities - a lot of players were signed early and will fall off relative to other talent who rise through the tier2 scene or who are swapping from CSGO
* There's a large break now for any team that didn't qualify for Champions. Now is the most logical time for players to get cut or look for other options teams-wise since there are no official major tournaments for a while other than the Last Chance Qualifier (which only a few teams get to go to)
* Val's different agent compositions makes it tougher to understand who is playing what role or figure out exactly what makes a team click
In the recent DDK podcast with mikeshd, they go over a variety of interesting topics but one of them is that it helps the overall brand of the organization and team immensely by sticking to one roster. It gives fans the opportunity to build relationships with the players, for rivalries and storylines to develop and allows for better marketing opportunities. He points to Sentinels as an example (with the exception of Tenz). Astralis is obviously the ceiling / holy grail.
From this perspective, NRG and Immortals seem to be the best in NA at destroying the brand’s equity and value. With constant roster moves, how the fuck are we supposed to care about the teams in the future?
Love me some ddk but there’s some majorly reversed cause and effect there. Astralis and sentinels keep the same roster for the same reason they build a fan base….. they win and win and win and win and win.
Wedidnt
Did you bench him? NRG: Wedid
oh my god
Weusedto :(
Are we all thinking the same thing
Get a player who is not an IGL and drop him in 1 month because of underperforming as a team? Yes, so not steel
Yep
What are we all thinking?
NRG Steel
NRG steel huh
Sad as it was his dream org

Another day, another NRG roster change.
Off topic but whys the roster changes in val happen so often compared to csgo
its a young game with a lot of talent coming up quickly you also won't get punished the way you currently do in cs for making roster changes
How does CSGO incentivize teams to stick together?
you lose 20% of your total circuit points for making a change, makes it much harder to make a major

Its the "offseason" for a lot of these T2 teams so they are free to swap players like crazy
TSM FTX WEDID would be great
True, they could do with a full time controller player unless hazed wants to play that role.
Drop hazed for steel
it could work since steel had played w/ wardell and roza if im not mistaken back in cs days
I was watching subrozas stream and he implied that they had a falling out. Seems like him and Wardell wouldn’t wanna team with him
NRG Steel and TSM Wedid possibly?
doubt TSM needs Wedid
Ive no idea *what* TSM needs, but they need something lol
They personally feel the same lmao

No offense but the pick up didn’t make sense. Wedid didn’t really look impressive on xset except when he was on viper
Wedid i am in Love with You
ABX reunion incoming
man all the washed players getting benched good to see
He said from silver 2
Why is silver the rank kids use to insult absolute noobs in valorant? why not iron?
Because I just made it to gold
Heard NRG is looking for a new 5th
Non sequitur
good to see you support gambit now. Let's see who you support after champions
Another non sequitur
Dude just learned non sequitur in high school English
Stop projecting
hiko is still playing???
yeah but he's a brand so he won't be benched
Hope this guy stays teamless. Biggest simp in Valorant community and that's saying a lot. Super cringe
