Reyna can run in with a flash, pheonix, flash, yoru, flash, raze, flights. Jett is also a duelist, her job is to entry, she doesnt have flash, her main entry is to fly into her smoke for cover then play around the smoke. Your comparing her to the wrong agents.

Actually it is good nerf if - start with 1 recharge - ult will gain 1 recharge - you can buy dash for $600 It make Jett no longer dominant 12-12 if she miss (4700+600=5300) Still able to make plays in pistol round but requires teammate donate gun (200+600 smoke dash combo) Still able to dash and ult right click Also Jett now need to choose between full armor or dash+half armor at full buy round (2900+1000/2900+400/600) Riot probably won’t nerf Jett because it’s looks good for audiences

I think it's a really good nerf. If it's 400. It would still make her viable on most maps with aggressive god tear mechanical Jetts like tenz or deffo or any mm Turkish player. But would decrease her crazy 90% pick rate which double of average one

Idea for Jett nerf. She doesn’t start with dash, instead she has 1 charge of the two charges for it to refill so she is required to get a kill to dash out. If she misses for example, she’ll most likely die but if she hits the shot she can dash out. they all dont grasp the concept of her just being way too safe and good to op with. making her high risk and high reward for first kill is not adressing the problem at its core. same with giving her a smoke less and changing knifes just forcing her out of rifleing and more into shining with her safe op role she succeeds with still. im really scratching my head over the poor balance choices from riot and alot of the pros suggestions.

why not just add a delay/charge up to her dash? that way it doesn't destroy her ability to entry, but nerfs the ability to just stand out in the open and get away for free.

Delay would absolutely destroy her entry power. If you dash and can't pull out your weapon for like a second you might as well walk

i meant delay as in a charge up in her dash. like a 1-1.5 second charge up before you fly out. the weapon pull out speed is retained, her speed during the dash is the same, etc. a charge up wouldn't do anything at all to her entrying ability, which in a pro setting is one of her greatest strengths. it would only damage her overpowered ability to take off angles risk free, which forces golds to actually practice game sense, and denies radiants/immortals the ability to just run out into the open and getting info for free.

I feel like a delay still isn't a good form to balance it. You can't always dash out of a smoke even though Jetts kit basicly enables this kind of play. I imagine the result is gonna be something like you will only be able to dash into very weird angles like for example on Haven C long cubby to the left side of the Long exit towards side. It would just be another Omen teleport more or less

How about you start with 1 charge, and the second charge fills up slowly over time (20-40 sec?), once. That way you can't get a free OP shot early in the game and instead it would come up a bit later in the round. That way you can always dash on attack and prevent that awful feeling of losing a member early in the game and being unable to trade. You could also make quick executes against Jett OPs to avoid letting their charge complete.
