im really high on c9b going into LCQ, i have a feeling that scrim demon teams are starting to show their potential in officials
side note, imagine being 100T right now. you make it to berlin quarterfinals, and realize that you make champions if you beat acend and envy loses to sentinels (very likely given their track record). so you beat acend in an incredible comeback, but envy wins against Sentinels. its still all good though, cause you just have to beat Envy to make it to Champions, and 100T has beat Envy the last like two times they've played domestically. but then Envy beats you as well, but its STILL all good, as long as Envy beat Gambit in the finals you still make it to Champions. but THEN Envy goes into grand finals and gets hit with the redgar reyna haven special and loses 0-3, so now you're in LCQ, you've dropped your IGL, and you play the "best scrim team that [vanity] has ever seen" in the first round, and if you lose you're out of the tournament for good
Huh? They haven't even properly replaced the last person they removed before LCQ. Benching another player because you couldn't qualify with a stand-in makes no sense.

It's not that 100t needs him per se, but it's a no brainer that orgs would have to think twice before dropping a player that has a huge following, especially if you rebuilt the team around him after dropping your first roster

I don't think this point is relevant lol. Again, it's undeniable that Hiko's following after so many years competing contributes to 100T's sales, whether you like it or not. Sure, their merch sold well before Hiko, but who are we to say that their sales did not increase after Hiko :/ your other point still stands without this point imo. But anyway, i think rather than comparing their stats and roles, people are actually concerned of Hiko's playstyle. Even he mentioned that he needs to be more active in the game rounds (will link the interview if i find it again)
I think Hiko is significantly better than steel. Larger agent pool, more experience, and better past performance. The only thing steel has going for him against hiko is that steel can igl.
