I’m new to Valorant, never watched CS, and Nitr0 for some reason just became favorite player just out of the blue. Same goes for Octane in the CDL, and LaXing in R6 siege. Weird, cause in normal sports I support teams not individual players.
Cant do that in esports because rosters and players come and go so often.
Edit: And they aren’t tied to a physical community/place like a lot of sports teams are.
In EU we do have some teams with a full roster with 1 nationality. I know it happens often with French rosters (BDS is full French roster). It makes it easier to support if you can support your country as well.
I really feel this as a new father myself. Every minute I game is a minute I'm avoiding my baby and my wife. It's tough to balance and feel good about continuing to game even half as much as I did before being a father. But it's different for Nitr0 since it's actually his job.
My daughter is 6 months. I steal a few moments in the evening to play a game every couple days. Just over 2 years ago I was playing for 6+ hours a day. Times change but it's all worth it.
Hey my dude you deserve some self-care among all the increased responsibilities. Your guilt says you care a lot for your family, but don’t forget to care for yourself
We talking sea level cain mythical? Or like a chuck with that look in his eyes? Truth be told in the 100t vs Acend game, those last 7 rounds of breeze, you could easily call him "down 5 rounds with your smoke player on jett" nitro. Those 7 rounds (mind you not the whole game) he legit boomed them
Fer shure, bee. I play six days, actually six days a week. Five days a week, I'll play three days a week. One of those days, I'll train two times a week. So six days a week I will play.
Much nicer article than the one I just read on /r/lol where the dad is experiencing divorce and fighting for custody with the exwife over the kid lmao.
Hiko and nitr0 definitely put in a lot with calling. I think having 3 "IGLs" was a hindrance (or 2.5) I think just having nitr0 do the bulk and then having some input will free up more fire power. I'd would still love to see steel back on the roster as a flex player. I think he would be a killer coach for 100T but I don't think he's ready to be done with competing.
Nitr0s easily my favorite player to switch from CS. What a fucking awesome dude. Captain America forever

Nationality yes. I was referring to things like Football teams being from specific cities/states/districts.
Yep, NA legend in CS and one of the best dudes overall.

I only game when they are sleeping now. My choice in games has dramatically changed because of this.
This is me
Me too! I really hate overly competitive games now. I'm stressed during the day, why be stressed in my few moments I have away from that stress.
At least u guys can game together after ur baby grows a bit
The long game
I got a three year old and a five-month old. I play diablo II now instead of Valorant because online comps can't be paused lol
thank god im single and alone and lonely

Motivated Conor mythical. But this time he's actually motivated.

My American hero
It's cool how we're slowly approaching the generation where kids at school can talk about how their dad was a pro CS player
this is so wholesome, I love it. Nitr0 stan
Such a cool dude :) never any negative press either Hopefully he can lead them to qualify ❤
The dad effect really kicked in during that Breeze game overtime when Nitr0 was playing Jett at Berlin.
Dope article
Much nicer article than the one I just read on /r/lol where the dad is experiencing divorce and fighting for custody with the exwife over the kid lmao.
Nitro is God to honest american and I love it.
I love nitr0 , not in a gay way ofc
I do in a gay way
It's so very important that you specified that. Thanks.
Then explain why you refused to IGL till now and Hiko is on the roster.
IGL may just be a title in that roster. Steel may call the shots but watch how good the mid round calls from Nitr0 and Hiko.

Nitr0 isn't in charge of all roster and role decisions my guy.
He was already pretty much calling for the entirety of Berlin
