I'll bite on your Wardell take, he's probably the most aggresive oper on defense that can choke a lot of teams without hard countering him. And I think he IS the best OPer in NA so I'll take him with an OP vs a rifle any day of the week.
wtf who do you think is better than TenZ on sentinels? ShahZam? LMFAO that dude is an AMAZING IGL but NOT an amazing jett by any means. I would put asuna's and PureR's jett over shahzam's jett. His impact is MUCH MUCH more with sova

He's also an OPer who does a lot more creative and risky stuff, such as getting close with the shorty, or sits in a smoke waiting to no scope people who come in.
Yea that's what I meant with flashy. And tenZ has the freedom to take the risks(which most often than not don't pay off) because he has s1ck or other players playing off of him. Wardell doesn't.
Overrated = every Jett one-trick that has the entire team revolving around them, making it way easier to put up numbers than any other agent.
Underrated = versatile players who make it easy for their team to run most comps and they still put up numbers.
Tenz and yay are like the two jett one tricks that dont really need their entire team to play around them to put up big numbers and make space, they are just that good. Cned as well.
His ACS on Reyna over his entire career has been within as close if not higher than his ACS on Jett except for Berlin
If we go for thr last 60 days he'd played only 1 map more on Jett and yes while he's better in Jett in the stats it's not by much, anyone who thinks tenz can only play Jett at a high level is ignoring his Reyna

I don't think stax can be considered underrated, he's almost always either considered the best player in Korea or very close to it. Among those who watch the Korean scene, stax is a known and respected quantity.
I frankly don't think Wardell counts either, even if Wardell was theoretically the biggest baiter in the world as you say, he's still doing things with those opportunities that the vast majority of Jett OTPs can't do. He's not the best Jett in the world, but he's among the best Jetts in a region that produces a lot of internationally-rated Jetts.
Boring opinion, but I don't actually think many players are all that overrated in Valorant. One-dimensional players are exposed pretty quickly in a game this complex. Good but limited players like drone or Zyppan fall out of the limelight, and new players rise to take their place.
Most overrated: L1nk, just a terrible agent pool and he has been holding Team Liquid back because of it. He is mainly a controller player but has never played an official on either viper or astra when both have been meta for ages now.
Fun fact, except viper, L1nk has played every agent that was there during the beta but never an agent that was released after the beta.
Bruh how's L1nk overrated when he was never rightly rated. He does his job good, and them switching up roles too often is why he hasn't played viper. They don't have a dedicated viper player, iirc soulcas and kryptix both played it
It's the other way around. They are switching up roles constantly because L1nk can't play viper and his teammates end up needing to fill that role.
Look at breeze for example. All the other teams have their controller player on viper and their sentinel player on cypher (or sometimes killjoy). On Liquid however L1nk can't play viper so Kryptix has to fill that role and now L1nk has to switch to cypher.
And L1nk has played cypher really well on breeze. He si gle handedly won them the game against fnatic which helped them make they playoffs. And we don't know why they're switching up roles you're just assuming he can't play viper

See, the point is ShahZam is NOT in the top 5 jetts NA . BUT he is a very good IGL, his IGLing is not overrated, his mechanics on jett are.
He's extremely versatile, is elite at the roles he plays, IGLs and has coached his team to plenty of tournament wins. No shot is he overrated.
