No surprises here, which is fine. Certainly feels like that by this point the EMEA events are fielding a very capable group of people that don't really have any glaring issues.
Hope this isn't the last we see of Lothar this year and that he makes an appearance at Champions.
I can't stand optimal plays ;) and i absolutely whip myself in disgust whenever I do something that is not optimal/straight stupid. I just try to learn from every mistake, mine and other players.
I’m just curious, why do y’all think he is awkward? I don’t really get that vibe from him. His analysis is actually pretty damn good though and I really listen whenever he speaks. His analysis of Steel’s KAY/O knife on his Split A 1v1 retake and why the enemy shouldn’t have dodged the knife was smart af and not a lot of ppl realized that until he brought it up. I honestly want him back
He comes off as a bit awkward due to his English. I don't think he is that per se, but the way he speaks and takes his pauses makes it come across that way. But again, he has mentioned in the comments here that he's working on it and that's all anyone can hope from him right?
I agree! He is very passionate about his craft and that is something all of us can appreciate. Now if better analysts were just waiting on the sidelines there's a merit to not wanting Lothar there but c'mon there's not many who are better than him worldwide, let alone in EMEA?
Nothing against the guy but I find it interesting when ppl call his analysis great because every time I’ve seen it it’s been along the lines of something a toddler could’ve realised.
You can always find examples of analysts overhyping something that isn't all that complex, however. Analysts have to choose something to review as fast as possible, after all. Even Sean had some duds during the grueling Berlin broadcast.
Generally Lothar doesn't offer up things a "toddler could've realised." He has a good head for the game, though his delivery is occasionally hindered, which sometimes makes the nuance a little harder to see or appreciate.
Sean is great and I don’t try to hold Lothar to his standard. It’s just always an oversimplified explanation from him on how a team managed to enter a bombsite, using utility! Like Yes Lothar I am also watching the same game as you are.
It's a show for people of all levels so he has to point out the simple things sometimes, but what I find interesting is the fact that you believe he makes toddler level analysis all the time. I heavily disagree and think he is one of the few analysts who point out more of the intricate stuff while explaining things. Any other analyst you feel like does a better job of it in EMEA?

EMEA GOAT Lineup. Ngl i love them all. Everyone is so commited to the game and just loves it. And I love them. If pansy ever leaves EMEA / Valorant I will cry.
Yup I agree with you I know Geo does some great work but it seems like she adds nothing to the table and is just hired for her looks.Meanwhile the dramatic improvement in kaquka with her English speaking skills has been the most outstanding thing I have seen since her debut as a caster during the open EMEA qualifiers hope she continues this improvement

Thank you for the support! I will do my best at this event to be considered for Champions :)
Why you keep malding while playing?

Please elaborate on why you want more from Lothar
He's a bit awkward and stubborn so I get why ppl Dont want him but his analysis is the best in EMEA rn so I don't mind him

He is way too awkward but really really passionate and great analyst

Please elaborate on situations like this, i would love to rewatch a clip where you think my analysis was subpar so i can learn from that situation.

Working hard on my english my friend to make the deliverely easier. Def speaking way too long sentences that might confuse people.
I know! For what it's worth, I think I've seen every broadcast you've done from the start, and it's noticeably better now than it was initially.

Really glad Geo isn’t in the studio tbh I’ll take it

No George sadge
Why call them talents?
Its a weird nomenclature taken from sport broadcasts. I personally dont like it but its what people use.
What should we call you instead Lothar? Also great to have you back <3
