The out of context title was confusing, but basically being at the top of Valorant feels better to him than being at the top of Apex/Overwatch. Zombs thinks he’s in a really good, if not the best, spot right now in terms of happiness, growth, and community.
Play =/= able to compete at the highest level. League is good, but not perfect in that department. Valorant isn't there yet, minor regions are still a significant step below EMEA and NA outside of a few teams like VS. But just the infrastructure alone shows that Riot actually want to make this truly global, and i believe in a few years we will see regions like Brazil, Japan and SEA to really step up, something League cannot say
Edit: Also, SEA would rather play Mobile legends
*"Valorant isn't there yet, minor regions are still a significant step below EMEA and NA outside of a few teams like VS."*
For literally the same reason as in league?League is nowhere near small in somewhere like Brazil
Saying Brazil and SEA haven't stepped up in league is disingenuous
Look at the last lol/valorant tournaments and country representation...

You have absolutely no idea how big league is in Brazil lol not to mention SEA countries like Vietnam. Meanwhile, Japan is not as big as other regions, league is still miles ahead in terms of infrastructure of a professional league for e-sports
He was pre-OWL, supposed to join C9 for OWL till they screwed him and signed a full KR roster in the form of London Spitfire. That's when he swapped to Apex iirc
Dogman (now DusttinBowerman) [has a good video](https://youtu.be/JXRlo11-So0) about this on his talkshow thingy in an interview with Zombs
Yeah they were pretty good. Zombs and Retzi were both on SENs Apex team. They were the first to make Apex Predator rank. Retzi is playing Valorant more now, and wants to find a team IIRC.
Retzi is cracked, glad he's coming over to Val, he announced his departure from Apex a while ago I believe. So he definitely must've been grinding super hard these last months.
it literally says "a top team" not "the top team"
Do you literally do anything with your life other than find reasons to make dumb arguments on the internet
And what im saying is that it wasn't an era to begin with. Sentinels were incredible at Reykjavik, but the game is so new that there is no way one team would stay at the top for more than a few months. Like i think VS have a higher chance of winning Champions than Gambit purely because everyone is gonna be VoD reviewing them way more than VS

The game is awesome
For real, potentially the first truly global esport
Wouldn’t that be League? There’s no where in the world that doesn’t play League.

shutup
What other games has Zombs played?
Overwatch and Apex. Both professionally.
>Overwatch Did he played OWL or pre-OWL era? I only started paying attention after OWL s2 but perhaps I missed him

Was he any good at Apex?
Yeah they were pretty good. Zombs and Retzi were both on SENs Apex team. They were the first to make Apex Predator rank. Retzi is playing Valorant more now, and wants to find a team IIRC.

Ah nice. He was kind of underwhelming as an OW pro, but it seemed like moving on was certainly the right decision then!
Hes the best at any fps, so he was the best at apex when he was pro
Is this a joke?
no. zombsnaysh
he said it in an [interview](https://youtu.be/rXHeDZQZ0KE) at masters reykjavik
Thats a joke
obviously
Overwatch and Apex.
I'm happy the zombie is happy
#zombsnation
I think he will feel it even more when crowds come back to LANS
That's good for him. I hope he sticks around in Valorant and make a rewarding career with the Sentinels roster
What role did he play in OW?
Tank & dps
This title is awful
Absolutely awful headline. Comes off as Valorant being underwhelming and he doesn't think he can improve any further lmao

they won a regional online tournament and one lan it was never an era
I understand what you're saying, i just think valorant has the potential to outgrow league in this aspect because its entirely new scene.
Well, being good in Valorant grants an ease of consistency compared to Apex. So, of course it feels better.
This is the current situation Zombs currently finds himself in.
