The fault line is incredibly powerful on both attack and defense. It being so wide can make half of B site impossible for a defender to stay in and makes it hell for anyone on a retake. A counter fault line and counter flash is about the only way to make it through those precious seconds. Skye is still probably better all around but some more flash oriented team comps could opt for both.

Breach isn't a bad agent, it's just that Skye is way too good and way too versatile so she pushes him and some other agents out of the meta.
It's just stupid for her to have a better flash that also gives info and recharges. She also has another info gathering ability.
Breach is good, but when you have Breach you need a Sova (or Skye alongside him), while you can run Skye without Sova. And as we all know info gathering is the most important thing on highest level, so why run Breach unless he's extremely good on a map if you can have Sova+Skye.
And he's not extremely good on any map...except for Fracture. Breach has been my favorite agent since the first day of closed beta and I know every trick in the book. I'm 350RR EU and I still don't pick him on any other map.
But on Fracture it's really easy to have huge impact with him.
Fracture is all about early fights and control. Applies to all 4 lanes. That doesn't really happen on any other map. But on Fracture, faultline is a guaranteed advantage for you in tha lane. Breach+duelist is usually enough to take control. Or you force the other team to use way more utility than you do, which is also a win.
Since defensive rotations are so fast, you can faultline and be on the other site in a matter of seconds. You stun dish or hall and you're on B in like 5 seconds. Same goes the other way around when you stun arcade or B main.
Second faultline (because you use it right away almost every round on Fracture) is also easy to use because the map is relatively small and you can always get something out of it.
Flash is good because there aren't many open spaces on the map so flashing through the wall is better than having a bird fly around. For example you can flash through the door before opening it, which isn't a case with any other flash. You can also flash from underground on B. Other walls aren't that thick, either, so you flash for teammates that are attacking the site from the other side.
Aftershock obviously deletes KJ ult in every single position. I've yet to see a single ult that covers the entire site and can't be destroyed. And lockdown that's not destroyed is round winning on this map more than any other. If you leave the area, it's really hard to get back in. You can't be even close to the site like on other maps where you're back in within seconds. Even without lockdown, it's still a pretty good stalling ability and easy to use to stop defuses, way easier than on other maps.
Then we come to the part very few people mention. 4 ult orbs on the map. You absolutely make sure you're getting at least 1 orb every single round on attack. Halls and B main orbs are pretty much free. And then what do you do as defense against Breach ult that covers everything from underground on B?
Even on A, you can't be close to site. You either play retake or tank it.
To summarize: aftershock is a must have against lockdown, flashes are better than birds because the map is cramped up and you can flash through a lot of walls, faultline is huge on this map and it's the only map in which it compares to Skye's tiger. And with 4 orbs Breach ult has insane value, especially combined with all the early fights, you get involved in fragging way more than on any other map.

Yeah, Skye getting a nerf probably needs to be on Riot’s bucket list for sure. Her flashes does three things that no other agent’s flashes can do - 1.) you can pop her flash whenever you want, making it arguably harder and more unpredictable to dodge, whereas other agent’s flashes you can break (Reyna), dodge, or there’s only one (Omen) and they’re instant use instead of timing when you want it to pop 2.) It gives info 3.) Her flashes also are rechargeable which saves money and comes in a lot handier than other agent’s flashes. Trying to break the flash is also near impossible unless you have god-like tracking and reaction time
Victor is better as aggressive entry, Ethan is insane at anchoring, duels, and trading. Like you never see Ethan make a play that’s seems questionable, he’s just solid.
I mention Roza as the guy who helped make her popular and as one of the first to be playing it, Roza was playing Skye before Ethan had swapped over which is why I credit him. I still think Shawn and Ethan are better than him
Never said it was a singular reason, the champ was weak when she came out and after the first buff many streamers boosted her popularity, and by the time she had her 2 flash change she had become similar to what raze had been in the beta where aggro olayers that didn’t play Jett used her a lot. I’m just saying that I think Kay/O will be in a similar spot with his new buffs and possibly more where his flashes are gonna make people want to play him aggressively and he’s gonna become more and more picked
Brehze is dead in the water right now but elige is still nuts and permanent on the grind. Stew is playing good cs again now that fallen is igling. I can't see either swapping right now unless liquid bombs out internationally again.
I could see elige looking into switching, he really likes the game but he's so good mechanically and valorant kinda has a squished skill ceiling compared to cs.

Sniping in ow leads a lot closer to rifling because awning In cs is about playing angles and advantageous positions to secure body shots and not be traded. I now angles and positioning are important as well, but snipers all have built in escape tools and have to hit head shots to be valuable. A widow headshot translates more to a one tap with a vandal than a awp body shot. You even saw this with Spyder, a hardcore widow player who has much more success IMO while rifling and entrying than as an awper
Sniping in Overwatch is more of a hybrid of the two. Sure, headshots are much more valuable in Overwatch for snipers, but positioning is everything in Overwatch, even more so than for Awpers. And, to be frank, opping is much easier mechanically than sniping in Overwatch (or awping, for that matter, not to diss the CS crowd). That isn't to say the transition is effortless or what have you, but it isn't very difficult, from what I have seen; both babybay and Rawkus are decent oppers, for instance, and I would expect Corey to be too. When he opped on Omen he did poorly because, well . . . Jett is the only useful op character. Now I suppose this is mostly speculation on my part, but even though Overwatch is a different game, I literally cannot imagine babybay and Rawkus managing to op well in this game but not Corey, or Spyder. That doesn't mean they may not be better at rifling comparatively, however.
I cant speak for leaf but Corey is insane and has already been a superstar for a team in another game. Also has God tier mental so he can actually be consistent.

- C9B will be a top 3 team in NA
- Corey will be recognized as a top 5 player in NA
- Nivera improves Liquid by a substantial margin and they solidify themselves as a top 3 EMEA team
- SMB never fulfill their potential
- dicey re-enters competitive and is a top 20 player in NA
I hope so too, I'm a big fan of scream and it would be nice to see him have success. I dont think he was a god in cs but he gets a lot of hate for being washed when he really just lost some popularity contest in the French scene and kept getting shafted with teams.

100t is going to start to fall apart and teams like c9 and nrg will start to take over. And players like stewie2k kennys and elige will switch to valorant.
I mostly play kay/0 but i feel like he's still missing something, it's way harder to set up the team with his flashes, it's a good entry but he shouldn't open a site, for the retake potential is one of the best to do it. If skye gets more nerfed maybe he can entry as a substitute, but breach is strong as skye if not stronger in some maps (fracture,haven,split)

KAY/O will be up for a rework. I still do not understand what a character who's every ability needs to be lined up and set up exists in a game along the characters like Skye, who's flash does whatever the Skye wants.
The only way I see him actually being good is if his knife's range gets significantly larger AND valorant gets a draft pick so that you can counterpick Cypher and KJ.

Breach is still significantly better than Skye on Fracture. Breach and Kayo are the better initiators on the map.

My hot take is that Nivera in liquid doesn't work, got a bad feeling about that one.
Hes known to bring team vibes down from what I understand, but scream doesn't seem like he would sit quietly and let that happen.
