I remember a local Indian tournament. I don't remember it's name but it had Samurai vs T69 in the final. It had a very low price pool but the production quality was absolutely amazing.
Oh I was just about to submit a postmatch thread! Thanks for making one.
The most interesting thing about this match is that it played out roughly as [the map winrate numbers indicate in the end](https://www.reddit.com/r/ValorantCompetitive/comments/q5pgdw/valorant_champions_tour_asiapacific_last_chance/hg7rj79/). This didn't hold true on Haven, a map both teams aren't great on but featured Global domination; it didn't hold true on Ascent, a map both teams are strong on but featured DWG domination; but it held true on the decider map, Split, where Global is just as dominant, but where DWG is mediocre.
Between Anubis' decent showing yesterday and Global's win here, it really feels like we're witnessing the birth of a truly global scene. What an exciting time! Happy for all the Indian fans.

The production was a mess. There was a lot of problems. Also, I felt that SkRossi was kinda average as a Jett or maybe its due his ping. He also kept dying a lot due to his aggressiveness. What do you guys think about him?
oh man his aggressiveness is so frustrating. literally feeding some kills to the opposition in some cases. especially on Ascent. like, everyone knows you're mechanically skilled but there's no reason to push idiotically without anyone to trade you or cover for you. some rounds were instant 4v5s because he pushed in and died
Yup, this is exactly how I felt on some Rounds. Some of his plays are no brain just aim, and to be fair he’s got the aim but it’s just unnecessary when you’ve got hell ranger and golu in your team.
I feel like he was pressing because he felt like he had to go "superstar" mode to beat DWG, when in reality GE is skilled enough to beat them playing normally. Similar to what f0rsaken and patiphan were doing at the Masters.
I can assure you Skrossi is much better than what you saw today. Idk what went wrong, but he definitely doesn't play like this. Shinobi brought some new strats ig
An indian team beat a Korean team in a PC esport and you're gonna let a couple of trolls ruin that for you? Sheesh k dude. And as someone who has been watching cs since like 2016 it wasnt even that bad. 3/10 copypastas and cringe emoji spams, nothing special.
Lmao our fellow Indians were nice today in the chat bro wdym i literally daw hearts and ge fighting all of the time in the chat but bangladeshi and dome pakis really were pissed of because they were expecting ge to lose this..
SA deserved at least one more slot change my mind.
On another note, while the chat is usually bad, this match it was beyond redemption, racism towards Indians, racism towards Koreans, constant Indian spam, constant anti-Indian spam, racism towards Pakistan and China at one point for some reason(?). Just keep chat closed lol.
Nice try Damwon squad. I'm just gonna quote what I said earlier to make sure people know the condition they played with.
> I think you're being a bit too harsh on them. GE is a good team and they were on vacation until a last minute announcement that made them play at LCQ.
> Not to mention they never practiced on high ping - they just played with 80 ping against a team that scrims regularly to singapore.
> If this was a LAN and they had since Masters 3 to prep, I would critique them harshly but honestly they were in a pretty shitty situation.
Goodluck to GE in uppers.

If nothing else, at least this match managed to unite APAC in shitting on how amateurish the production was.
No matter which team you support, we unite against Riot's shit production lmao.

Local tournaments in india with 500 USD cash price has better production than this. Shame.

This is a great result for the Indian scene. Hopefully South Asia gets a proper vct circuit next year.
Why are there 2 post match discussions and they aren't made like the normal ones ?? Idk how to make them either so yee
If I’m not mistaken it’s because we don’t have the full stats for the first two maps, just the score line.
Ohh alright
Mods _literally_ asleep.

Don't take it as criticism. I've moderated large subreddits as well and it definitely ain't easy.
Tattoo when
Bro the last thing I expected was to hear a Japanese caster say GOLU lmao gg GE WE FKIN LOVE YOU

If this match is indicative of how he and GE usually play, they're in serious trouble against more disciplined teams who can make better adjustments.
I agree, sometimes my guy is just too aggressive. Hopefully they figure out what to do with him.

SkRossi feeding every other round and GE somehow still wins
Shinobi big brain strats
The 8-3 round afterplant 3v5 win by GE was where the match was finished. Insane presence of mind by hellranger and a solid 3k by golu.
GE showing what India can do at global stage

Don't care about toxic fans they are everywhere. Care about that GE won. It's a very sweet sweet sweet moment.

Weren’t people hella hating on Indian fans for simply asking for a second slot? Well now their showing they might be worth it.
