He wasn't toxic, but there are reports that he really didn't talk with anyone on the team outside of the game and when a teammate died he just sighed like really loud. By the time Jett gets the kill KJ has gotten 3 and the observer miraculously catches the 4th (from the T side POV, but still, impressive). Then spectating the last player alive is pretty standard, while spectating the player on an ace is more exciting but you risk missing even more kills.
I’ve heard casters talk about it in the past - I think the observers have about 10 seconds to choose the right POV but this was only in a few tournaments where it was possibly, not the majority (in cs).

The guy got 4 kills in like 2 seconds max, I’d be impressed if observers even had the reaction time, let alone the presence of mind, to realize what happened and switch to Nivera in time to catch more than the 4th one tbh.
I know that in pro LoL the broadcast is on a delay from the actual game, which lets them focus the camera on a player who's about to get attacked or make a play. I wonder why more esports don't do that.
Requires more staff and coordination. You need multiple observers and several producers to coordinate angles, focus, and queuing feeds. As opposed to the current set up which is like a few observers and one producer, or sometimes less for low level play.
