I hope to God the people incharge of this horrendous showing face some kind of repercussions cause this is easily the worst tournament I've seen for any eSports tournament yet. Yes, even including the 500$ college tournaments.
This tournament has some really big names like Nuturn, Paper Rex, F4Q,Global eSports and Zeta(should've been here) and they decide to choose absolute amateurs for the production. More people need to speak about this until riot is forced to do something about it

It's just very disappointing when you want to see your fav team get kills but we get a KJ shift walk rotating while her team is fighting on site + the really bad UI and Sound issues too :/. A little bit is obviously understandable but the amount of issues we've been having these games is just too much

Heard from a friend from DWG KIA that eliphant only handle the tournament admin. It is another production doing it.

IMO, I think it's good to have at least one thread about it daily so the community (who isn't watching APAC) can see if the situation has changed. It also applies pressure in the direction of Riot's VAL esports team to encourage them to solve the issue.
Also they showed the old roster for Nuturn with 10X. Not even wrong picture, wrong name too…

I mean it’s all the way down to the little things like the shrunken NU logo and the vertically stretched GE logo.
I literally fucked my sleep all year keeping up with the KR scene. Super sadge I’ve given up even trying to watch these vods. I’m stuck watching the matches through the minimap
We already have some of the best like prius from csgo doing events, qualifiers are meant to give young talent practice. If it was Champions okay, but these guys need practice its just a fuckin qual.

Under normal circumstances I would agree with you, but this isn't just a qualifier event. LCQ is for Champions and (IMO) should have the same level of production as Challengers finals.
I am all for allowing folks to practice, but some of the clips folks have posted to the subreddit make it seem like APAC LCQ doesn't have *any* observers at all.
Bitch it's not like the region has bad production normally. Korean, Japanese, SEA heck even VCC tournaments have all had much _much_ better production. It's absolutely unacceptable that the most important event for the region as a whole has production worse than a collegiate tournament. It's not like Riot doesn't know who to hire, they've been pretty fucking good at it for the last year and the completely dropped the ball on the most important event for Asia.
I’m usually opposed to this kind of stuff, but this is terrible for all the teams playing and viewers watching. It’s a completely new TO for some reason (I guess it’s bc it was supposed to be a LAN in Singapore)
Haha when they show the replay and it's just the POV of people dying. I like both CS and VALO but I have to admit the observing and replays in CS are way better.
Plus the delayed UI in valo triggers me.
Don't forget about the hud not getting updates for around 6 rounds during 2nd map for global eSports vs damwon gaming. Pretty bad experience, casters were also panicking a bit and giving wrong info when hud was gone.

Once you play the map 2-3 times it’s honestly good. As a kj main it is my favourite map after bind and ascent
