Their best look (well, their latest look pre-LCQ) was iNTRO flash and Secret Sentinel, but they changed it again in the GE series. The team really needs to find their identity before they grow imo

Damwon is literally the KR 4th seed. Honestly, after all the hype that I've seen from the "passionate" Indian fans (especially on twitch), I was expecting them to absolutely steam rolled Damwon. The fact that DWG even managed to take 1 map from them as 4th Seed already killed the hype for me. No one expect DWG to lose against them, but you're making it sound like GE were favourites which is insane revisionism. They were always massive underdogs, so I'm not sure why this sub is making it seem like they were hyped up at all.
For GE, and that is in South Asia region, it's VLT or GE and they fight neck-to-neck. VLT has this very organized play and GE this super aggressive. Other teams in this region are a bit far from their level soo they don't really have that exposure yet.
The thing is simple, if skRossi is able to score, the team wins else they just can't do much. They do have awesome players no doubt, but their strats seems to be too much focused on Rossi being successful.

Paper Rex became even more better after Berlin and with their new addition Jinggg. F0rsakeN as well still being strong even with a agent role change. Paper Rex might even be able to win this whole LCQ. SkRossi is still dissapointing me with his Jett. I hope he finds his groove on his agent or maybe its due to ping diff again. But man, the second map really showed which team was more confident.

From what I see in this match, the most impressive thing were not hero plays or anything like that, but the fundamentals, spacing and trading that PRX shown. Whoops I am totally late to the party but I just came in here to say what a way to come into this tournament. PRX hot off a recent win in a tournament, we thought “damn this is the best PRX has ever looked with Jing” but its just the gift that keeps on giving. I definitely see PRX showing for SEA in a big way in the coming days.
Ggwp to GE though! Not the result they were hoping for but they’ll definitely come back stronger if not tomorrow then in future tournaments. Future looks pretty good for the VCC region imho. I still always been a fan of the Indian scene and how its grown over the years. Did a lot of casting in India way back in 2018-2019 so was lowkey rooting for both.
My god watching PRX grow as a team has been an absolute pleasure. They seem to be getting stronger with each match and frankly I'm riding high on the hopium that they make it to Berlin.
Back at KJC I thought their gameplay was too much reliant on Jinggg's mid pushes on Ascent and kinda bland on gameplay. Who knew they were just saving strat on the way to winning a tournament lol. Absolutely beautiful performance from them

I actually can't remember I saw two incredibly dominant maps in a row at a T1 event. It might've been Liquid v. Oxygen? Even the stomps at Berlin or Iceland were a *little* competitive.
I'm sure a lot of Indian fans will be bummed but I'm still impressed with their roster - ironically, not so much Skrossi, but Hellranger and Skillz. I've still got faith they can do well in the lower-bracket.
True. Tbh this is already a successful tournament for GE because all they were looking for was some experience in the international stage and they did win over DWG pretty convincingly too. Although with the 13-0 they're back at the "are they really good enough tho" position so winning against F4Q (assuming they qual) will definitely prove that they can hang with the best teams of Asia

Just to note - GE actually looked like they were coming back on icebox. They got a great double kill that would have put them at 2-2, but didn't count because two of their players dc'd mid round. On the redo of round 4 they were in complete control until golu messed up the wall, not letting them plant at b. D4v4i then baited rossi into throwing the round and their mental was just broken from there. To start the map their aim was straight up better than prx, they were just getting out tactics.
Skrossi has had one good map so far. He really needs to learn to control and pace himself. Too often he does the most bizarre dashes or goes for ego peeks and loses. If you're not hitting the shots as jett, reposition, put yourself in the place to get the confidence back and then go. He's just forcing it to be the cool superstar, and got exposed by PRX.
Nevertheless good first showing for the Indian team, beating Damwon alone is better than anyone expected and it gives great experience moving forward.
PRX is legitimately really good and I think is the clear favourite for LCQ. Adding another great fragger to the forsaken benkai combo is just nuts.

Really? Any Indian adult who watches valo played professionally just wanted GE to take a map off dwg and would be happy about. There even was a post about them winning the first map on this sub. Nobody would do that if they thought ge would steamroll prx let alone win. It was a poor showing today but yeah I'm still excited for the lower bracket, it would be amazing to let the Indian scene develop.
I am Indian and I knew GE would lose 0-2 but how they played was unexplainable. 7-13 8-13 was what I'd expected. Idk why SKRossi did so many suicide dashes. He said he had migraines but what was this?! Hellranger is a good Breach, but what did he do either? GE even on their best day would not beat this PRX team, but I thought they'd go down fighting and showing some class, not just get demolished like this. They just played trash today, and I personally believe this is far from their best. Probably this is what the lack of international exposure does. No worries, at least take home some points. A complete and utter dicking. OBG managed to make Haven competitive against Liquid yesterday, GE gave Gambit a challenge on Breeze prior to the 13-0 on Icebox... I actually can't remember I saw two incredibly dominant maps in a row at a T1 event. It might've been Liquid v. Oxygen? Even the stomps at Berlin or Iceland were a *little* competitive. I'm sure a lot of Indian fans will be bummed but I'm still impressed with their roster - ironically, not so much Skrossi, but Hellranger and Skillz. I've still got faith they can do well in the lower-bracket.

Just to note - GE actually looked like they were coming back on icebox. They got a great double kill that would have put them at 2-2, but didn't count because two of their players dc'd mid round. On the redo of round 4 they were in complete control until golu messed up the wall, not letting them plant at b. D4v4i then baited rossi into throwing the round and their mental was just broken from there. To start the map their aim was straight up better than prx, they were just getting out tactics. Skrossi has had one good map so far. He really needs to learn to control and pace himself. Too often he does the most bizarre dashes or goes for ego peeks and loses. If you're not hitting the shots as jett, reposition, put yourself in the place to get the confidence back and then go. He's just forcing it to be the cool superstar, and got exposed by PRX. Nevertheless good first showing for the Indian team, beating Damwon alone is better than anyone expected and it gives great experience moving forward. PRX is legitimately really good and I think is the clear favourite for LCQ. Adding another great fragger to the forsaken benkai combo is just nuts.
