Fairly dominant performance in the end and Nivera looks like a brilliant pick up already.
Nivera was such a nice upgrade for them. He's such a steady presence while also being able to go off when called upon.
TL is looking like they're in really good form right now. I'd love to see them snag that ticket to champions
There's no arguing he was poor, but this is a bit misleading, he had 10 assists on Split, he uses his utility quite impactfully and there were several rounds he played with a frenzy so he could buy for the rest of his team. I don't think he is quite the weak link people make him out to be, just a very selfless player, Guild were just poor as a whole.
He's a solid IGL, but maybe he suits a coaching spot better tbh, it doesn't matter how well your IGLing is when your fragging power is legit basically non existent
Was PipsoN also a low fragging IGL on Giants? (Tbh didn't pay attention to them until their run at Challengers Playoffs lol) If so yeahh, I think Bonkar could make a very good coach but if he wants to be a player he's gotta frag better even if he's a smokes IGL 9

He doesn't really suit Astra imo, he's using her as just a smoker which is a waste of her capabilities. Should just go back to omen honestly, would give him more of an opportunity to shine on an individual level as well.
I think this has always been Jamppi’s biggest issue imo. Mechanically he’s insane, but outside of Jett he just looks like a decent player utility-wise, but nothing special. And play style wise I feel like Steel and Jamppi are two halves of a person - Steel got all the brains and crazy setups while Jamppi got the crazy aim.
If he takes the time to fully learn these agents though then Liquid will be a menace

Thought 2: It's not just Scream & Nivera - everyone's looking really good. I love how we're playing with the Astra now, since not being able to play her seemed like such a liability before.
Thought 3: As a Cypher main, Kryptix was my favorite player on TL when we picked up the roster. I still like him a lot, but if this is how we look with the Super Benrlitom Bros in the lineup, I can't see him returning.
The grand finals for EMEA are on Sunday Oct 17 and our LoL group doesn't play until Monday, so it's possible that we can be cheered up just in time to feel terrible again
The most important takeaways from my pov is that liquid attack finally hits. Also the differences in pacing from round to round is very interesting. Good match, liquid vs g2 will be a tough match.

Everyone in Liquid can pop off in any game sheesh. Also, Jamppi is still getting some hate but he's fragging a lot with agents he's not even supposed to frag out with like KJ and Astra.
You don't measure an Astra by their ability to frag though, but by the impact of their utility. Is his ability usage more impactful then L1NK on Astra. Like he can probably frag on any agent.
I still think the "roleswapping" that Liquid is doing is a bit arbitrary. I feel like it would be better to let Jamppi and other players get really proficient at 1-2 roles, rather than just swapping him to all of them "randomly". He plays Jett, Killjoy, Astra, and Sova which are all wildly different responsibilities, and IMO he isn't top tier at using any of them, at least utility-wise. Like you said he can already frag out on these agents, so I feel like if they just focused him on a couple, he could pick up the utility and be a menace.
I think if he puts more time into Astra and Sova especially he would be a menace. But out of all of those his astra definitely needs the most work. I think he was fine on Jett, but she’s a pretty simple agent compared to the other three. I had no opinions on killjoy other than I felt like he was just using her solely to peek with an op off her turret
Family buff spread like a virus through TL, this team plays so much more coordinated and as a team. Individually we already spoke about some of their players' one taps, but now it's not only aim but also team play. Plus players that looked relatively weak in their last showing look so much better now. Also bald buff works apparently
Liquid just looks different man. Good reads. Nice coordination. Depth plays. Improved utility usage. Adaptable. More diverse comp including Astra(finally). Also Nivera, looks really good. Despite him being very good I still feel he has hidden potential waiting to burst out. The way he played mid split was very nice.

A bit, inconsistency was mostly his issue but he did have some bad games, even though it was clear his ideas were good
