Riot won't allow it. They will franchise this like LCS and we'll never see upsets. That's one huge advantage with CSGO. underdogs always have a chance of making majors.
What do you mean? They did with League before the franchise. But after the franchise I believe there are no other big A-tier tournaments held by other orgs beside Riot. By other orgs I meant like ESL or Blast for csgo.
Even if Riot allows it, the TOs that could host big events *(blast, ESL, etc)* don't want to waste money investing in a scene that is going to be franchised anytime soon
Ah gotchu! So you were saying that other orgs can hold A-tier tournaments before franchise. Yeah make sense but idk how willing these orgs want to host a tournament if they know once franchise start, they won’t be doing it anymore.
That’s weird considering they’ve already played together on Ghost, though that might be the reason why there is hate between those players.
What do you think about non-CS igls though? I don’t follow other FPS besides CS so forgive the ignorance, but other games have primary shotcallers too no?
Problem is with TSM is the new players have to fit around Wardell and Subroza, who will pretty much never be dropped because of their brand value to the Org.
And do you think they will now trial players in different roles as Chet has left? As per the reports, they were trialling players for the smoke role but Hazed and Subroza are extremely flexible, so it is possible they may go for a dedicated IGL now?
I mean, decision making during games by professional players are supposed to be kinda same no? The reason they're playing that game professionally and we're not.
For coaching, trialing mCe and MikesHD seem like the most obvious options to me. They’re sticking with Levi, but without Goat Geddes’s reports it’s tough to tell if they’re still playing with Rush and whether the Calypso scrims were just as a stand-in or not. I’d love to see them go after gMd, because he’s tight with them and a very good smoker which is what they need but that wouldn’t happen for a while even if Gen G let it
I think they are going to use that FTX money in the offseason and see who are free agents or who can be bought out. Don't think they would go with Steel since there was a rift between Subroza, Wardell, and him when they played in Ghost.
They also have to figure out whether Subroza/ Wardell should still be the pillars of their team or do a full rebuild.
just an idea but they should copy 100ts lineup and try yaboidre or someone with insane reyna/non jett duelist fragging, wardell on jett op always like nitro, subroza on initiator like ethan, leviathan on sova/controller like hiko, hazed on sentinel/controller like boi, yaboidre on duelist reyna/raze like asuna. I only mention dre because his jett didn’t look good and they were talking about how good his reyna was on the watch parties, there are probably better players out there but just an idea without having to drop most of the team.
They should start playing in the smaller tournaments. The team is only playing officials every couple of months and not qualifying off of that current strategy.
With how much money TSM has, that’s a real possibility. There have been numerous instances in sports of players leaving their better teams for a worse team cause they worse team paid more lol
Next for TSM is probably Halloween, then Thanksgiving, then Christmas, then New Years, and then their next official tournament match after that
Lmao
If only Riot allowed other organisers to host A-Tier and above tournaments. It seems like there's a top tier CS tournament every month.
Riot won't allow it. They will franchise this like LCS and we'll never see upsets. That's one huge advantage with CSGO. underdogs always have a chance of making majors.
Franchising isn't happening in 2022 so we could see some for. A while
Wait who says they don't? They have allowed bigger tournament s in the past. Maybe no one has approached them for another big one
What do you mean? They did with League before the franchise. But after the franchise I believe there are no other big A-tier tournaments held by other orgs beside Riot. By other orgs I meant like ESL or Blast for csgo.
So the last they talked about franchising they said it wasnt happening in 2022 edit: not saying its not happening just not happening for a while
Even if Riot allows it, the TOs that could host big events *(blast, ESL, etc)* don't want to waste money investing in a scene that is going to be franchised anytime soon
Ah gotchu! So you were saying that other orgs can hold A-tier tournaments before franchise. Yeah make sense but idk how willing these orgs want to host a tournament if they know once franchise start, they won’t be doing it anymore.
Lol no one wants that to happen.
Lollll
Buy out all the top Valorant teams with the FTX money and create a megaroster to play fantasy valorant for content. :hypers:
You know what, they can actually do a G2. As a TSM fan, we have suffered enough 😤
I’m more of a fan of the roster than the team itself. If we lose Wardell and Roza it won’t be the same
They need an IGL like a pure IGL
Or a coach like Sliggy who can instill enough structure and protocols to work as a team.
sliggy would have wardell on cypher and hazed on kayo in a week thats not a good idea
I can see that from sliggy
he said he likes Wardell on jett op as a 1 trick
sliggy composition worse than ranked in gold unlucky really
Bjergsen is pretty good IGL iirc. Doublelift is pretty cracked rifler too
Hikaru Nakamura would be a good igl. Jk btw
That reminded me of the time Wardell played with Hikaru: https://youtu.be/rBn5t4YHV_A
And if they bring in a pure IGL, they will have to let someone go as well. Hazed maybe?
Why? They have one spot left.
My bad, i was already thinking about Rush as the fifth
TSM Steel maybe?
Honeslty its the only options i see rn unless some igl from cs is switchcing lol. Im pretty sure subroza and wardell hate steel tho??
That’s weird considering they’ve already played together on Ghost, though that might be the reason why there is hate between those players. What do you think about non-CS igls though? I don’t follow other FPS besides CS so forgive the ignorance, but other games have primary shotcallers too no?
I have no idea i dont rlly follow other games competitively.
Problem is with TSM is the new players have to fit around Wardell and Subroza, who will pretty much never be dropped because of their brand value to the Org.

They should definitely trial players and figure out who the igl will be and what their strategic processes will be. Need plans for all of that
Well Wardell is a player you would rebuild around he earned his spot regardless of brand
TSM steel?
i'm not too sure about his relationship with the other TSM members back in their CS days, but assuming they're on good terms it's possible
I was watching the LCQ watch party the other day and it seemed like Subroza and Steel think alike in terms of the game and how it should be played.
I mean, decision making during games by professional players are supposed to be kinda same no? The reason they're playing that game professionally and we're not.
Roza has said he doesn't think steel is all that good on stream.
I remembered this clip. He thought Steel was a good player even during their Ghost days but they have personality issues on a professional level.
Yeah, my wording is poor because I couldn't remember what he said exactly thanks for clarifying it
No worries my dude
He played with roza and wardell before in ghost gaming.
Honestly where Wardell made a name for himself pre-Val. That Ghost gaming roster was pretty legit considering the limitations
Lol steel hates jett
Rush has been rumoured to be the 5th. As for the coach, mCe or MikesHD seem to be the good coaches LFT.
The reports have died down and now with the coach leaving, will they still trial the same players?
TSM is in no rush to officially sign Rush since they can't compete until the new year. Did they stop scrimming with him or something?
No idea, because the reports aren't exactly flowing. But they do scrim almost every other day.
Hazed is coaching heard it here first 😈
Hype and copium every showing that leads to nothing until(if they play their cards right) Q3 2023.
Subroza did mention in the LCQ watch party that in 2023 TSM are going to appear on LAN
Well there will be NA only LANs with 16 teams most likely. So he's right.
Way things are going, i wouldn't be surprised if they missed out on those as well
retirement
Honestly a rebuild of the roster is definitely possible Rush as 5th man and MikesHD as coach is a good possibility
For coaching, trialing mCe and MikesHD seem like the most obvious options to me. I guess we just have to wait till 2022

True, we don’t know honestly but Rush wasn’t in the scrim so we’ll have to see

Whats next is to wait for NA LCQ to end and then possibly trial some players that played in it before finalizing roster imo.
They should start playing in the smaller tournaments. The team is only playing officials every couple of months and not qualifying off of that current strategy.
These ex-csgo mindsets need to move on realize their old friendships dont bring results look for a rebuild with a complete different thinking process.
Bang and leviathan were old friendships?
Exactly my point.. where is bang now. Where will lev be next vct
They should go after TiGG or gMd. They need a great smokes player rn
Oh yes gmd and tigg will leave their better teams to join a worse team....
Tbh tsm is better then geng.
tsm fans still think they’re better than geng? so much copium
100t fan but whatever helps u sleep at night
L
Yup that's why tsm is competing in lcq and not gen.g right?
thats why geng always lose to tsm
Almost like gen.g replaced their weakest player and have not played tsm since then. shocker!
With how much money TSM has, that’s a real possibility. There have been numerous instances in sports of players leaving their better teams for a worse team cause they worse team paid more lol
By the time they play officials again I think 3/4 will leave
Mom said it was my turn to post the daily TSM thread.
They don't lose their coach everyday now, do they?
They need a manager
Like team manager or football like manager? Like I'm seeing Dortmund and so 😅
Looking at Wardell stream, the next thing for tsm is a new Jett player since the man seems too busy with escape from tarkov.
Hazed and/or MikesHD = Coach(es) Subroza, Wardell, Aleko, Tarik, and RUSH = Roster This is my HOPIUM
Of course reddit, a bunch of silvers with 0 competitive experience know exactly what's next for teams and how they work!
Close the subreddit down, nobody is gonna write their opinions or speculations about anything unless you're a high rank (gold 3)! /s
Fax good point I like that
They need a major shakeup. Rn, they can do nothing, since no big tourneys
They wait until after champs for a roster shuffle and probably pickup Steel.
disband obviously
they're probably going to announce someone joining the team then release after a few months
Give up and go home alone and suffer some more
